During a furious wind and rain storm two skyscraper Pine trees fell on our home crushing the entire back half of our house. The next morning at first light the construction company on our street came to assess the situation and stated they could handle the rebuild. It was not until we were well underway with the restoration that other construction individuals stated this rebuild doesn’t look right and I should consult a inspector. Once the inspection report enumerated all the problems not correct or up to code, we contacted a highly recommended contractor, (MENDIOLA REMODELING & CONSTRUCTION) and proceeded with corrective measures to all the unsatisfactory structural repairs the previous contractor installed. This is one recommendation that resulted in my home being restored with a new roof, windows, wiring, flooring, walls, & kitchen as new and meets all statutory codes and inspection. It’s no wonder that the workmanship carries a BBB A+ rating.

Mediola Remodeling & Construction was the final Contractor I met with and prior to meeting Miguel I was leaning heavily towards another company. I had a general idea of what I wanted to do, but Miguel took my project to the next level with his vision & suggestions, while remaining within my budget. He made suggestions along the way, and was clear on what each “add on” would cost. I added on a handful of different things to this project and they still finished 2 days earlier than the original target. I could not be happier with the work they performed transforming my living room!! Every aspect of the job surpassed my expectations. Miguel has put together the “Dream Team” as every person that came into my house was a complete professional and the work was flawless. Miguel kept all the different crews (demo, HVAC, electrical, structural construction, cabinetry, drywall, painting, etc.) on schedule and they even finished ahead of schedule – even with several changes I threw into the mix. It’s never easy living in a house while there is a major renovation going on, but Mendiola minimized the inconvenience with their prep work and daily clean-up. I had the advantage of watching the work as it was being done, and I was blown away with the quality. Each worker took pride in their piece of the puzzle and was both meticulous in their work and respectful of my property. Additionally, I never had the slightest concern of having them in my house when I wasn’t there. I will use Mendiola Remodeling & Construction for all my future projects without hesitation.

Miguel and his crew did an awesome job with the planning, manufacturing and installation of my kitchen island. The craftsmanship was spot on and the total price of the project was reasonable. I will definitely hire these guys for future projects.

Did ok work. Put the subfloor down upside down. Didn't get permits. Left me halfway done before he had to do electrical and plumbing in our new addition. He hounded me for another payment and I told him not until he does electrical and plumbing. He threw a fit and left never to return. I wonder why... I paid 68% of the total, and he had only completed the frame, siding, and roof with 6 windows. Nothing else. The deal was to complete the entire project to completion. Now I find out there's no permits. He said he's licensed and had to do things the right way. I should not have trusted him, but he's very personable. I like his workers too. It's just a very bad situation all around. Now I'm waiting to see what the city says I must do to keep it or if I have to remove it. This guybdidnt care about anything but getting fast money.

Miguel Mendiola and his crew have done a great job not only with the actual design and workmanship but also with great advise as to what not to do! Every day the crew cleaned up all areas that they worked around and they were very attentive to our needs. His crew is very trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable Definitely recommend Miguel Mendiola for any and all home remodeling projects no matter how big or small it is!

Mendiola Remodeling designed and rebuilt our 20 year old kitchen from floor to ceiling. We are pleased with the attention to detail and devotion to quality workmanship. The work crews are courteous and clean up at the end of each day. We are happy with our new kitchen and grateful for Miguel's vision and expertise.

When my husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen, master bath and TV niche it took us a little time to find the right contractor. The minute we met Miguel, we knew it was the right fit. We weren't completely sure of the design layout we wanted but Miguel had some great ideas up his sleeves and we went with it all. Miguel is beyond professional and personable plus he has a keen eye for details. We had to regain trust in a contractor after a bad experience from Hurricane Harvey, he did just that and put our minds at ease. Seeing the comradery between he and his workers is incredible. He's had the same guys work with him for a while and the mutual respect they have for one another is amazing. It's very refreshing to witness because you don't see that much anymore. During our remodel we stayed in the house and the workers were very mindful and respectful of our privacy and property. They kept things neat and clean throughout the whole project. We could trust them 100% and that is HUGE. Miguels whole crew are excellent in their skills and craftsmanship. It's all about the details and every bit of it was delivered. There are not enough words we can use to express our gratitude for the work that was done and the professionalism throughout the whole process. Absolutely incredible!!! We highly recommend Miguel Mendiola, Mendiola Remodeling and Construction to anyone looking for top quality work. We will definitely be using him again for any other upcoming projects we have.

We contacted Miguel for an appointment to discuss a kitchen remodel as he came highly recommended from a colleague. With the budget we had in mind, we expected that we would have to keep the layout of our kitchen but do more of a kitchen refresh than a full blown remodel. However, when we met with Miguel he listened to our ideas and sketched out a significant redesign. The kitchen design planned for removing any walls between kitchen and other rooms, increasing the ceiling height, and reformatting the layout all within our budget. Obviously design is just the beginning of the project, but Miguel really followed through on the overall execution in all regards, often having 5+ people at the house working simultaneously to get ahead of schedule. We ended up gutting nearly half of the house to fully open up the kitchen, dining room and living room while also redoing the half bath near the kitchen. The new kitchen is now unrecognizable and stunning and the half bathroom is spacious and so much more usable. Miguel was present for all meetings. No remodel project is without its hiccups, which in our case was a paint supplier messing up their colors, but Miguel worked with the supplier to remedy the issue and get back on track as quickly as possible. Overall, we recommend working with Miguel if you need help envisioning your remodel or just need help to deliver a high quality final product.
