      I cannot even give Dressbarn one star. I have reached out multiple times requesting a return shipping label and have not received one yet! They should be shut down if this is how they treat their customers!

      Dress Barn used to be a great store to purchase clothing and accessories, but now that it is on line it is a joke. You place your order and you hope that the items are going to fit, but if they don't like some items I purchased you try to return them and get your money back, but that doesn't happen. After several emails and several weeks pass, you get a gift card. I didn't want a gift card. I wanted my money back. I will never order from them again. Poor customer service.

      I have tried to contact them through their support email and through their phone number and get absolutely no response. I ordered a blouse and it was too big so I wanted to return it and I followed the protocol and emailing their support contact and still have not heard from them. This isn't the Dress Barn I used to know... Within the last few years since they did away with their independent stores and went totally online via website that's when I noticed problems in ordering and getting refunds. I will no longer do business with Dress Barn.

      I wish that I had read these reviews before I ordered from Dressbarn! I ordered a pair of jeans recently that I had bought once before in store a couple of years ago. The order came and they were marked size 4 but the jeans themselves had to be at least 3 sizes larger! I have tried several times to reach them by phone and through email to no avail. I was going to send them back but after reading these reviews and weeks of frustration I might as well keep them and give them away.! This business should be shut down!! I agree, I think they are a scam!!??

      I ordered several items in November. Some of my order was delivered, a couple items were fine but one item was sent in the wrong size (bag was marked with ordered size, tag -and garment- were a different size) and another item was simply not what I expected. I contacted customer service through their website to return them and received an email that said they were very busy but would contact me soon. Okay, it’s the holidays, I can understand, but they never contacted me. I have messaged again and STILL not heard back. I have the feeling that this is intentional so they can deny my return and keep my money. Also, the rest of my order has yet to be shipped. It is now April and I have serious doubts that I’ll see any of those items, or get a refund.

      This is not the first time I’ve had a problem with them, but it is the worst. I used to love their brick-and-mortar stores, and their clothes are great for work, but the online store is so unreliable that I feel they have fallen into the “scam” category of online shopping. Very disappointing. I have messaged them again today and if I don’t hear back, I’ll be filing an official complaint with BBB and maybe talking to a lawyer. Such a shame that a solid company like this once was has become so unreliable.

      If you haven’t already ordered from Dressbarn, save your money and shop somewhere else. If there is any issue at all, even if it’s their fault, you will not get assistance to make it right.

      Agree with all comments below. I ordered something in 11/2022. Items did not fit, so I returned it in December and ordered another size but ordered the incorrect size (thought I was ordering misses when it was petites), so I returned this 2nd order and placed a 3rd order with the correct size. Some items from this 3rd order still didn't fit, so I returned those. Therefore, I have items from 3 orders that have been returned within 30 days of their delivery but no store refund. USPS has confirmed that Dressbarn has received the returns (one received in 12/2022 and the other two received in 1/2023). I have contacted them multiple times via email for THREE months (the chatbot is useless) and have only received generic automatic responses. Therefore, today, I contacted them one last time to encourage them to do the right thing. If I do not hear from them in 7 business days. I will be escalating this. I suspect this will make a good class-action lawsuit, given the reviews on this site and the fact that many people are likely having the same problem and not leaving reviews. This online version of Dressbarn is corrupt and fraudulent, and they are purely thieves. There has to be some legal action that can be taken against them.

      I placed an order on January 25, 2023 for two items. I received one item on January 27, 2023. I am still waiting on the second item. In February, I tried to call the 800 number listed on ****** but it has been disconnected. I followed up with numerous emails to their contact us at support@dressbarn and I have not received any update other than “Thank you for contacting DressBarn! Your request has been received. We are currently experiencing a high volume of customer inquiries this holiday season. For this reason, we are experiencing longer than normal response times.
      We are actively working on your inquiries in the order they have been received and extend our apologies for any delayed response you may experience. We will be responding via email to ALL inquiries which will be the fastest way we can help resolve your issue.”
      I tried the Chat Bot on March 3 and it did not provide any resolution only:

      I will never shop at Dress Barn again. Their customer service is terrible and you don’t get your product or refund.

      I returned two pairs of pants that I tried on once and put right back in the bag. They would not accept my return saying the pants were covered in pet hair. I have one dog that weighs 13 pounds and barely sheds. I shed more than my dog. I loved the Dressbarn stores…the on-line version has proved very disappointing. I am still fighting them for a refund. The pants I returned were never worn and were not damaged.

      Do not buy from this site. 100% scam. Dressbarn used to be a reputable store but the online store is a complete scam. I hard ordered a sweater that I never received. They gave me stores credit. I used the credit to buy another sweater in November 2022. Not only did I never receive the item, but I have contacted support 3 times and they never responded. Literally stole my money.

      Bought a sweater dress and it was way different than picture and huge! I got label to return it and did as protocol said. I have been trying for weeks and weeks to get a follow up as to why I’m not getting store credit as indicated. All I get is virtual assistant over and over. Also called the phone number and it’s no longer in use. They are scammers and I wish I had read the return policy as to no money refunded. Only store credit and there isn’t another piece of clothing I want. I’m out the $50, this company is scamming people, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
