Movers stole my daughters Nintendo Switch when they moved her last week. We've called the company twice, both times they've denied the theft. We are filing a police report today I'm trying to give the company the chance to make things right We want the Switch returned...no questions asked, just return it Or refund the moving fees to cover the cost of a new Switch. We have and will continue to leave negative reviews & tell everyone about our experience with the company. According to the reviews, we are not the only ones the movers are stealing from.

The movers arrived professing I had everything ready for an easy move. All I needed were the 20 free boxes requested. I never received the boxes. I was told I didn’t need them. They knocked small holes in my brand newly painted walls. They moved individual pieces (that were supposed to be boxed) into huge carts and then unloaded them onto the truck. I was told they weren’t nickel and dimeing me, but that this cart method was easy. The move ended up costing me over $700. I didn’t receive the heads up requested to order an Uber for my ride to the new place. My appt window 12-3pm. They arrived at 2pm. Which they’re combination of delays caused my appointment for key pick up to be pushed back. Never experienced such an awful experience. I was given a generous $60 plus something credit for all my troubles. Supervisor never addressed my concerns. Been waiting.

WILL BREAK YOUR ITEMS AND NOT GIVE YOU A PENNY BACK!!! THIS COMPANY BROKE MY 71 INCH TV AND WILL NOT GIVE ME MONEY !!!

Ameritex Movers; I have spent most of my life in the ARMY. I know how to move people and materiel anywhere any time. I very accurately described exactly how much "Stuff" I have. When I pack a transport vehicle every item is puzzle fit to minimize shifting, you would be lucky to fit a book of matches into a my truck. I am 63 and can give orders better than I can pick up a dresser. It's hard not to believe they didn't intentionally pack the truck loose to insure that a second trip, at $180/hr. I asked if I should empty the drawers, The contents of every drawer was trashed and some even left a trail of items never to be seen again. Every piece of furniture that had adjustable feet for leveling had at least one or more that was torn off, ripped right out of the wood! We don't have much but we try to have nice, and now there are prized pieces of china display with deep permanent ratchet strap indentions on the corners. The hang up clothes boxes were so dilapidated, they didn't even use the bar, the clothes were just piled in the bottom. Some were just dumped onto the bedroom floor and the door closed so we wouldn't notice until they were gone. Some guy kept showing up while the crew was working and hold out his phone telling me to sign the screen. Once that they arrived, once that they started work, once that they had walked the job, ETC, ETC, ETC. I'm sure one of those signatures was the one that says I won't file any claims. Then there was the usual plainly marked boxes dumped in the wrong rooms. My wife and I are bilingual enough that there was no confusion on our instructions. I provided the requisite pizza and Cokes for lunch and even sent some home with them. There was always ice cold water available. I'm not sure how I could have been any more accommodating. They either don't care, don't have any idea what they are doing or they are criminals. Worst move ever! And I have been moved by some of my drunken friends on a holiday weekend!

I used Ameritex movers to move from Houston to Dallas They arrived late and were very slow and not professional, the wardrobe boxes were used and one was very dirty so I didn't use it They planned 11 hours full move but used and charged me for over 15 hours, I would not recommend them to anyone

I don’t know where to start but this experience with Ameritex was truly THE WORST EVER EXPERIENCE I ever had with any company not just a moving company. If I could give it ZERO stars I would, better yet this company and my experience this truly deserves a negative rating. My move was on June 29, 2020 and it is now July 29. I have given this company numerous chances to reach out to me and over the course of the month I have talked to one person and that was earlier this week and that one person didn’t have any solutions and said a manager would call me and he has yet to call me. This left me no choice but to write this review. I will elaborate on this review at a later date but the key points of this TERRIBLE experience is below. My bullet points • Takes advantage of costumers: Paid almost 3K but if I did it like I asked it would have been half as much. I left up to the so called “expert” to provide the best way for me to move. • Did not provide what they said they were going to provide: No wardrobe boxes or tv boxes and had to pay for extra boxes since the wardrobe/tv boxes weren’t provided.  • Workers although were nice and worked hard they took a hour break and I paid for 30 minutes of it. • Response/Communication was/is god awful after I expressed my concerns. • Its been over a month and I have yet to talk to management about my experience.

These people should not allow to work, they were unprofessional refused to wrap my furniture and when I asked them to cover my furniture, they dump it on the side and left. I will not hire...

Do not recommend them at all. They recommended me two trucks and 6 men. Assured me they could get the job done within that time frame for $250 per hour. Excessive, but they assured me they were the best and they assemble new furniture. So I thought it was worth it. When In fact the do not assemble new furniture. They took over four hours to move 3 10x10 storage units that were not packed to the brim. I repeat there were 6 movers!!! When we moved into the storage our mortgage company hired a moving company for us and we had 2 men and they had us in those storage units in just under 3 hours. There were two of them. The main mover even said, you could have done one truck, but since your paid for 2 we might as well use it. They charged me an extra 60 dollars for 15 minute, while the guy was chatting with his team before they had me sign to close out my time. I paid 1250 for 4 hours. I do not recommend this company at all! The worst experience i've ever had with a moving company! Just do your research and find someone else.

The opposite of a stress free move. The movers accidentally knocked our sofa into the wall, leaving a (4"x4") hole in the sheetrock wall. It was a mistake they made - not a big deal in and of itself, but the company's response has been atrocious. It cost me $700 to get the hole fixed, so I filed a claim with Ameritex to get refunded and sent them the receipt. They told me it was not covered by their policy and sent me a check for $100 instead. Very disappointing that they would not cover something that was clearly a mistake on their end. Would never use these guys again. If they accidentally knock into your garage or damage your house in any way you will be responsible for the damages! Would think twice if you are going to use them, if you can afford to cover for their mistakes. I had a small move, so the $700 I had to pay to get the wall fixed nearly doubled the price of my move. They could have kept me as a customer by reimbursing me for their mistake, instead they have lost a customer for life.
