My home was built in 2017 and JB Septic was the original service company and I maintained that contract with on time payments. In Jan 2023, I began the process for having a pool installed in my back yard which required the septic sprinkler heads to be relocated. On Jan 27, 2023, I sent an email to JB requesting a bid for this work and I did receive an email acknowledging receipt of my request. After calling to request a response, on Feb 16, 2023, I finally received an email response with a proposed amount for the work I needed. On Apr 6, 2023, due to unforeseen issues, i had to have a new survey proposed and I, again, sent this to JB Septic requesting a bid proposal for the work. On Apr 14, 2023, because I had not received a response and another company seemed more willing to engage with me on my needs, I sent an email requesting to cancel my contract and a refund sent to me. On May 11, 2023, I called JB's office to inquire on the status of my request to cancel and I spoke to ******* who acknowledged receipt of my request and said it was being processed. To date (Jun 14, 2023), I still have not heard from any JB ********** request is asking for the BBB to assist me in opening the lune of communication in getting my refund so that I won't any longer be ignored by them. First and foremost, we admit have not handled communication with you up to our company standards, and we sincerely apologize for that. We should have addressed your needs and concerns in a timelier manner. Due to staff turnover and a medical emergency within the organization we failed to get your needs taken care of. While we know there are no excuses for the way we handled the situation we want to make you aware it was not intentional. We have new procedures in place to meet the needs of our customers even during difficult times here at the business. We appreciate your business from 2017 - 2023. Currently we are processing your refund request and you should receive it in 5-7 business days.
