What does it tell you about a person who writes a nasty review and does not use their real name?  ********************* likely took some cheap online course on how to flip houses and was instructed that you can only make money if you bully, belittle, berate and cheat your subcontractors.  The poorly constructed addition on this run down "investor special"  of a house that we re-roofed for ***************** had a gaping hole in it before we arrived. This hole had been letting water inside the house for months.  The day we began, ********************* was already causing problems with my ******* over parking.... of all things. The words that my ******* used to describe ********************* were "UGLY" and "MEAN"  Our point of contact for this job was her "significant other" *****************.  I can't imagine that **** is her husband due to the condescending way she also spoke to and treated him.  We completely re-framed, re-decked and re-roofed the rear elevation of this house due to the improper installation of a patio roof by some shade tree sub-contractor. We did this at a fraction of the cost to the client...who was..as a quick reminder..... *****************.  During the process, **** would continually ask us to complete repairs that were not on the contract, another trick from "FIX AND FLIP 101"  We are an A+ BBB rated company and of course we complied with all his requests and never once charged him additional money for it. The contract was for a Residential Architectural Shingle Re-Roof. We warrant our workmanship for 10 years while most others, only 2. After we completed the job, ***************** asked us to come back and clean up THEIR interior carpenters, construction trash from behind the house, which we happily did.  **** did not communicate this to *********************, and I got a nasty email from *********************, asking why we put OUR trash in THEIR Dumpster, when in reality, it was THEIR trash.  Several days after completion I get a call from ***************** telling me that our brand new **************** Warranty Shingle Roof is leaking. I immediately went over there to investigate.  I noticed wet insulation in the ceiling(as they were still renovating the interior at this time) that had been there since the inception(remember the gaping hole prior to our arrival) and pointed this out to ***************** via text, pictures and a phone conversation. **** is unconvinced, as he is too busy to meet me on site at that time.  I leave, and ***************** calls me back yet again.  This time, I go to the house and conducted a hydraulics test with a garden hose and I can not replicate the leak. Why, you ask?  Because it is the wet insulation in the ceiling that is leaking, not the roof. Once again, I explain this to ***************** and I leave. He calls me yet a third time, and without hesitation, I go back to the house and conduct yet a third water test, with the same result and for the same reason.  I send a third text to ***************** trying to explain to him the phenomena that is happening inside his "fixer-upper"  I guess he has an epiphany and allows me to invoice the job and email the warranty.  After poking and prodding ********************* for several days and collecting several different forms of payment and rescheduling several appointments to meet to receive payment, I finally get paid weeks after we completed the project. This is not the end of the story. Months go by and I get a picture text from ********************* about some missing soffit under a patio porch.  I explained to her in detail that a 3x6 inch piece of tongue and groove soffit under the front porch is not a roof component and is not covered under our warranty.  That seems to appease her, but several more weeks go by and I get yet another picture and an angry email from ********************* about another item that is NOT COVERED under our workmanship warranty.  Then another two months goes by and I see this nasty review.  I hope you understand how frustrating dealing with ****** and ***************** was for me and my crew.  We went above and beyond to help these "young investors" save some money and this is how they thanked us.  ************************* review is an indictment on me personally and has nothing to do with the product and service we provided.  I feel sorry for whoever has to deal with "celebrity investors" **** and ********************* in whatever capacity.
