****** was done to my sons car and no one is returning his calls. He only received one call back informing him that the person was let go and are aware of what occurred but since then, no one has called back. This is not professional on how this is being handled.Review from Destiny H

My trash wasnt completely emptied. I contacted the business the same day while the trash trucks were still in the neighborhood. They advised I would have to call in the next morning. I had to ask for a working number as when you call the number on ****** no one answers. I got the number via email and and called the next day was advised my trash would be picked up the next day. That never happened! When I finally got someone on the phone the next day I was advised they dont have a truck to come get my trash until the next week so Im just supposed to put my trash bags on the ground. This isnt acceptable! The trash trucks are in the neighborhood next to mine today so theyre saying that they cant just ask them to pick mine up as well? I have asked for the owner to call me multiple times this is not how business should be done.Review from Dalton D

Im a little upset as the first time I was contacted about my card being declined was May 23rd when the account was subject to be billed April 8th, thats over a month where no one from Clawson made an effort to reach out or collect payment. Im curious why that much time was passed before I was notified of me owing on my account...Its also poor practice to write an email to 190+ emails at once as that usually flags it as spam to where majority of people will not see it as it gets archived for spam. Also you shared customer's private information by adding all of our emails in the To: rather than bcc'ing us like professionals. The phone call I received yesterday, where the number showed up as Spam Risk, is the first time Ive been truly notified that I have a balance past due, nearly 2 months later after my card was declined due to it being compromised. Lastly, they added a 'fuel surcharge' without notifying any of the customers.Review from Michael S

Raised their rates and started to refuse all but one trash bin with little to no notice. They know they're the only trash pick-up in the area and haven't lowered their rates to compensate. Their pickers are also unprofessional and will often leave trash in the street or in yards. It's too hard for them to pick up more than one bin, but perfectly fine to toss that one bin into the street or yard before moving on.Al Clawson Disposal, Inc. Response

We are in receipt of your feedback dated 03/16/2022. We sincerely apologize that you did not timely receive the notice concerning the change in service level to Cart Only. These notices were released from us in early January to a third party processor to distribute. We have not changed our monthly rate; however, due to safety concerns and scattered trash, we have requested that all trash be set out week to week in an ACDI cart that can be mechanically emptied with our truck. We have noted your experience of cart placement after servicing; and we will be revisiting the importance of proper placement of these carts with our route crews. If you have any further concerns, please feel free to reach out to me directly. We will be happy to assist you.Review from Amy W

After 4 years of an extra small can being no problem now all of a sudden they will not dump them but have no problem charging the same amount which is overpriced to begin with. If employees can not lift small trash cans into the truck then maybe they should find a less physical job. I was informed when I began service that an extra small can or big trash bag would be picked up no problem to change your policy but not your rates seems like a scam to me. If there is not ***** I will be taking my business and money else where to a more reliable trustworthy trash service that doesn't change rules for their benefits and not the customers.Review from David K.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond. In the past, when subscribed to our standard weekly residential services, we would empty our ACDI 95-gallon cart plus up to five additional bags beside the cart. Effective 02/14/22, we have modified our standard weekly residential services to include only our ACDI 95-gallon cart. This modification was necessary for several reasons:(1) ********************** for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has developed a mathematical model that helps predict the risk of injury based on the weight being lifted and other criteria. The lifting equation establishes a maximum load of 51 pounds, which is then adjusted to account for how often you are lifting, twisting of your back during lifting, the vertical distance the load is lifted, the distance of the load from your body, the distance you move while lifting the load, and how easy it is to hold onto the load. We have been seeing an increase in the weight of bags/items outside of the cart. For the Occupational Safety and Health of our crews, we need weekly household waste set out in ACDI carts in order to take advantage of the cart tippers installed on all of our residential trucks. (2) We are NOT able to mechanically dump personal containers. However, ACDI carts can be attached to the cart tipper on each truck and mechanically dumped, thereby reducing the risk of injury to our crews.(3) Cleanliness (especially in the rural areas). We have been seeing an increase in the number of bags that animals have tampered with at the curb prior to our arrival (trash is scattered). Heavier bags have a tendency to break when picked up by our crews. During route observations conducted during the fourth quarter of 2021, we witnessed our crews spending an increasing amount of time (sometimes ***** minutes per stop) cleaning up after animals and deteriorating bags. All trash being placed in carts will help expedite the servicing of each address. While our standard weekly residential services now include only the 95-gallon cart, we can still pick up larger items or additional items outside of the cart. However, these items will need to be prearranged with our Office Staff so the proper personnel and equipment can be dispatched to the location. If you have any questions, or if you need any additional information, please feel free to contact me. ******* Clawson Financial Director AL CLAWSON DISPOSAL *** ********************** Office ************** -- Mobile ************** Fax *******************************************************************************Review from Steve S

Claws on disposal has repeatedly not picked up my trash. Today, Wednesday, they again missed my can, so I walked up and down my block and every other can was empty. Calls to the office result in the same story, they will be out Monday, 5 days later. Bad service on the trash collection and bad customer service. I would give them NO STARS!!
