I have since moved from this address *********************************************************************. The issue i am having ,I bought a *************** and signed up for Roku 12-19-19 . When I purchased I was informed a lifetime of Roku at the cost of $192.99. Regardless of where I lived and regardless of how many TVs I had. My order number is #***** purchased 12-19-2019. At the present when i try to sign in to Roku I am asked for a charge card . My sign in at the time was ************************ I just want Roku at no cost or refund me .Thank You.Initial Complaint

Was charged $199.90 on 03/02/2020 for ******* when I setup account. I as setting up account on TV and an error message popped up saying I needed to call the number. I called the number and was told I needed to pay $199.90 to finish setup and to have ************ for all tv's for a lifetime. I had an issue with my account and called Roku and mentioned that when I setup my tv I was charged. They then informed me that was a scam and I needed you contact BBB. They said there is no charge for ************ since I purchased the ******* it came with the tv for no additional fee. They said this has happed to a lot of their customers. I am wanting this refunded to me since this was a bogus charge that I was led to believe that I needed to pay this to be able to set up tv.Initial Complaint

I bought a Tv with Roku. On August 29,2019 I was being prompted to set up the service when an error message came on the tv. Asking me to call caligeeks.inc. The man stated unless I paid $69.99 my service would be incomplete the Roku would not work. I used my credit card to pay for the service set up. The charge was good for 5 years. Today September 20,2021 I called Roku inquiring about the channels, information regarding my account. To my surprise they had no record of my 5 year account that I paid $69.99 for from August 2019-2024. Doing my homework now I as scammed out of my money. Caligeeks was to provide me access to more channels without further charges. Roku has absolutely no record of any transaction from Caligeeks on my account at all. The other problem was the person who took the information was not fluent in English either in speaking or hearing. On April 24 2020 I was charged ***** fee to activate Roku I called the # on the original box I still have and have tax *********** proof of payment which Roku wants not to help resolve the # on box as well as statement you will be asked for credit card info is the way I was scammed you cannot get set up without calling the # on box and I'm entitled to my ***** refund immediately
