Repairman showed up at my home on 07-06-2025 to look at my washer which was not draining. Rapairman looked at washer and turned it on a few times and said that pump was not draining and needed to be replaced. He had to order the part and then he returned 07-10-2025 to replace pump. He then asked if I had any buckets to drain the water that was in my washing machine. I told him no that I did not. I told him that I was assuming that since his company repaired washing machines and that he knew that my washing machine was full of water that he would bring the necessary tools to drain the water. (AKA- Shop Vac). So I told him I did have an iced tea pitcher and he decided to use that to drain the stinky water out of my washing machine that had been in there for 4-5 days. He dipped it into the washing machine and then dumped it into my bathroom sink. Then he asked if I had any towels to clean out the rest of the water. So I let him use my last three clean towels to clean that out. He dripped so much water on my rug in front of the washing machine that I had to pull that up to take to go get washed. He left the towels in my bathroom sink and then took my payment and said goodbye. Washer is working thankfully. I did ask him why he was having trouble getting my washer to turn on after he replaced the pump and he couldn't really explain. He answered everything with one or two word answers. I was very dissapointed in this service for the almost 500 dollars I paid. The company did offer me 25 dollars on my next appliance repair for the inconvenience! WOW! That entices me to use them again for sure! NOT.

      Dear ***** *********,

We appreciate your feedback regarding the service visits on July 6 and July 10, 2025. We understand your concerns and sincerely regret the inconvenience you experienced during the repair of your washing machine.

We acknowledge that the technician should have arrived better prepared, particularly given the condition of your washer. The use of your personal items and the resulting cleanup were certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. We also regret that the communication during the visit did not meet your expectations.

We have since reviewed this matter internally and have addressed the issue with the technician involved. Additionally, as a gesture of goodwill and acknowledgment of the inconvenience, well issue and mail you a $50 check.

We do hope this demonstrates our commitment to addressing customer concerns fairly and sincerely. While we understand your disappointment, we would appreciate the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

If there is anything further we can do, please dont hesitate to contact us directly.

      Sincerely,
      UltraFix

Company blocked all on line communication with response apps screens. Totally false advertised on ******, report sent. They advertised ****** review money back guarantee. Dear ******,

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We sincerely apologize that your experience with Ultrafix Appliance Repair has left you feeling frustrated and unheard. Your feedback is very important to us, and we deeply regret the issues you've faced.

After reviewing our records and chat system, we can confirm that the technician did arrive on April 18th in a final attempt to resolve the issue. While we made every effort to repair the washer, we ultimately were not able to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.

In light of this, and in alignment with our service guarantee, a full refund for the amount of $550 has been issued. We hope this demonstrates our commitment to doing the right thing when our service falls short.

We strive to provide better experiences moving forward, and your feedback plays a key role in that effort. We wish you all the best moving forward and please reach out with any questions you may have.

      Sincerely,

A technician from this company came five times to fix my refrigerator, once every week for five weeks, but did not succeed, after I requested for a refund, the company told me it would be ready in a few business days. Once I waited a few days and did not receive anything, I called back 7 times and was told that my refund would be ready in a few days time. I received many text messages from the company. I still have not received my refund of $240. Could you help me please?

      Dear ****,

Thank you for your patience, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced regarding your refund. We understand how frustrating this situation must be for you.

To clarify, we initially issued a refund via check on March 14th. However, it appears that the check has either not been received or cashed. As a result, we canceled the check and reissued the refund via ***** to ensure quicker processing. For your reference, weve attached a screenshot of both the original check issued on March 14th as well as the Zelle transaction.

We truly appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve this matter.  We value your business and are committed to making this right. Should you need any further assistance or clarification, please dont hesitate to reach out.

      Best regards,

On 1/16 I contacted Ultrafix for a washer/dryer (combo) repair. They sent ***** who diagnosed that a water valve needs to be replaced. The charge was $512. Few days later he came and replaced the water valve. When I tried to use the washer, I couldn't turn it on. I called again and ***** came, informing me that the connection was disconnected and he fixed the problem. He also found a forgotten tool inside the washer so he was glad he came back. He informed me that normally he had to charge me $160 but he can take $70 cash instead. Although I felt it was not my fault and that it was something he did to the connections, I paid him another $70 cash. When I tried to use the washer, the same original problem occured. I had to leave to ****** so when I came back, I tried again but same. It seemed that never fixed anything. I felt that I was bullied and scammed and if I call again, i will have to pay another visit for something that it seemed will never end or fixed. I'm asking a resolution from BBB since I do believe this company is not honest. ***** told me that all the reviews on ****** are his colleague and the company pays him $25 for each review, that made me very uncomfortable calling them again or trusting that they are a legit company. Please help me resolve this. I will accept repair if they send someone else and make sure I will not be harassed nor guilty for filing this complaint. I'm $600 less with a non working washing/dryer machine. Thank you,

On January 25, 2025, we contacted UltraFix to work on an issue with our dishwasher. They sent a technician named Max. My wife and I explained the issue to him, and he said there was likely a leak with standing water. He was here for over an hour, removed the dishwasher, and claimed to have fixed the issue. We tried to run the dishwasher, and the same problem occurred (would run for a couple minutes and then the timer would cut to zero, and the machine would stop working). We caught Max before he left. He came back in and said the problem was actually with the control panel but that he could order one that would be there before the end of the next week. The time came and went, and I had to contact Max repeatedly about the part. Over three weeks later, Max told me the part would be arriving by the end of that week (February 21 at latest). That day passed with no word from Max. I texted and called both Max and the Company. Now Max says the part will actually take 5-6 weeks to arrive--indicating that UltraFix never ordered the part a month ago like they said. Not just mad that I paid $200 dollars to not have the problem fixed. I'm mad that I was lied to for a month when I could have reached out to another company in the meantime to get a working dishwasher. Every time I call, they have to put me on hold to contact Max, or a manager, or someone. It is nothing but delay tactics with the hope of wearing you down so that you give up and accept you got scammed.

I called the company to repair my washer m. They came out the 1st time and to me they needed to order a part. They came back a week later with the part, did a repair and told me it was fixed. This time it was worse than it was before their repair. I called they came back and told me they needed to order a new part. UltraFix came back, told me it was fixed and if it breaks again I need to by a new. Well, it is not fixed. It sounds horrible, it never made this sound. Plus, it is not working. It keeps shutting down. I a requesting a full refund. Also, cost for trips to the laundromat.

In September of this year, we had our washing machine repaired. We waited over a week for the part to arrive. When it finally came, the technician mentioned that he also needed to glue something.

I guess the glue only lasted for 6 weeks. The washer is leaking again. The washer is clearly not fixed, but the company states we need to pay for the service again. The problem was not fixed. I don’t understand why I need to pay a second time for something that was not repaired properly the first time.

Our incident occurred Monday 9/9/24. Our refrigerator was making some grinding/buzzing noises late at night and then seemed to cut out in the early morning. I asked my wife to take point on this and to call an appliance repair company to help us get our fridge back up and running as I was at work. She contacted Ultrafix Appliance Repair to come “diagnose” the problem. Our tech had claimed it was a control board problem (oddly on only a 3-year-old fridge) and could order the part and replace it within the week – at a steep price, mind you. We agreed if it would fix the issue; additionally, I asked on the phone how everything else looked by which he replied “great.” An appointment was set for him to come on 9/11/24 (Wednesday) from 12-3 by which he arrived at about 5:30 PM. He replaced the control board, and he had told my wife that he would also clean everything as well; once again, I asked how everything looked when the back panel was opened (coils, inlet water valve, etc.). He responded, “everything was clean and looked great.” That night the same loud noise occurred. It was not the control board. I called Ultrafix and demanded them to pick up the part and give me a refund to which I could only have a partial refund being charged $85 for their “diagnosis” and restocking fee for something they probably bought of eBay. He once again came to get the part (from 5-7), and he arrived at 7:30 PM while on the phone the whole time speaking in a foreign language. I currently have diagnosed the problem myself and have the fridge working stably, and can you guess what, the coils were filthy. I am not sure if it was the tech’s lack of knowledge or a complete lie.
My biggest worry is the fact that they can come “diagnose” a problem of an appliance, take a guess or look on their phone, if the problem is not fixed, they can try again and spiral a customer financially down until they break. Or, if they are made, they simply get $125 for doing absolutely nothing. ****** ***** *****

their technician showed up on time, I explained the issue I was having with the washer. He spent the next 30 minutes online looking for a solution rather than using diagnostic equipment or using his knowledge. He eventually said my drain pump was bad but he didn't have a replacement with him. He gave me the part number and told me it was just 2 screws and 1 wire and was easy to replace. I ordered the part, put it in, just 15 minutes. I ended paying $85 for bad advice as there was no difference after installation. Same problem. The technician used the Internet to diagnose the problem. No knowledge of what he was doing. I sent them a response but they never took the time to respond back. Don't let the 4.9 rating fool you as it did me

I had bad experience with them fixing my washer. On 5/13/24 echnician named Orik came to fix our washer. The problem was simple: the drain was not draining. Later, another technician told me the solution was straightforward—just changing the drain pump, which costs $50, plus $50 for labor, totaling $100.

However, Orik, a ********* and *****, told me the problem was with the Smart Board, which costs almost $500, plus another $500 for labor, and, of course, the drain pump. The total cost, with taxes, was $1177 (I will attach the receipt for confirmation). I paid $374.5 upfront.
After fixing everything with another company, I contacted the UltraFix manager, explained the whole story, and initially, he apologized and promised a refund. But he did nothing. Only after I called him over 20 times, with a different excuse each time, did he finally agree to refund me fully(after I told him I will take it to Court) —IF I changed my 1-star review to 5 stars, which is absolutely illegal! I refused.

      Finally, after more than two months, he sent me a partial refund check. They charged for both the washer and dryer service fees, $85 each, and I had to call another company to fix it. ******* ******* *** *** ********** *** ********** ****** ** ******* ** **** ********** *** ****** ******* ** ********** ******* **** ********* ****** * ********** ***********  ** *** **** *** *** ******** ******* ** ****** * ******* *** ***** **** *** *** **** ******* **** ******* ******** * ******** **** ** ****** ** *****

      Dear Arie,

Please accept our sincere apologies for any frustration this has caused you.

Upon reviewing the details of your compliant, we acknowledge the delay you experienced. However, during investigation of your case it has come to our attention that there were attempts to solicit false statements from our technicians for personal insurance claim purposes, which is unacceptable. We also received a call from your insurance regarding a false claim you were attempting to make regarding repairs with UltraFix. Therefore, when you wished to no longer proceed with repairs we sent you a partial refund keeping the $85 service call fee per company policy, which was agreed upon prior to your appointment.
