We bought a Groupon for air duct cleaning during and after a remodel. *** convinced us to sign a 3 year deal for a much diccount price and they would come out for 2 more years for an annual cleaning. The front room of our house has been extremely hot and we attributed the heat to gaps in our front door so we replaced our front door and that did not fix the problem. After further investigation, it was found that the register/ duct they connected the machine to was crumpled on the inside and no air was flowing which caused the room to be so hot. I tried to call and text *** as well as America Air Duct Cleaning but have gotten no response. The duct replacement was $600 so Id like to be reimbursed that as well as their fee.Initial Complaint

This company is trying to defraud its customers as they represent they are a local company and live in my neighborhood. I asked the person who came to my house if they lived here in the neighborhood and he said yes. I asked where and he said 2 streets over. When I pressed for the street he said he wouldnt give it to me as he didnt want ppl knowing his address. He said his company is based in ******* and they work all over *****. It turns out he doesnt live in my neighborhood and Ive cancelled my service. Please warn others to be on the lookout for them as they arent truthful.Initial Complaint

American Air Duct Cleaning installed a UV-c lamp in my system to sanitize the air. However, when I had an actual HVAC company come fix a different issue with my system they said it should have never been installed in my system and that how it was installed was dangerous because UV-c light was shining into the living areas of the home. Making this carcinogenic. Ive attempted to get AAD to come out and remove the light and refund my money but they now refuse to answer my callsInitial Complaint

On May 13, 2021, America Air Duct Cleaning sent out a man (Akiva) to clean out our a/c ducts in the house. He cleaned out the ducts and talked us into buying a package deal where they clean them out 4 times in a year. We paid $1300. When we tried to call them back October 5th, 2021, there was no answer and I looked them up on the internet which says they are permanantly closed. We would like a refund from these people as we did not get what we paid for.Initial Complaint

Technician **** came to my house on January 6th 2021, to remove mold and clean my air ducts. They charged me $ ******* for the job, which I thought was high.On April 28, 2021, my regular A/C ************** came out to do my bi-yearly checkup and noticed that there was still dirt in the air ducts. I called American AIR Duct several times and had to leave messages. Nobody called back. After I filed a dispute with ********* about the charges I got an e-mail from **** asking why I filed a dispute since he worked so hard at my house? I sent several e-mails to his boss **** and the owner **** I received an e-mail back but not sure who wrote it. They refused to reimburse me all or at least some of the money, but after several e-mails back and forth agreed to come out to look at the ducts for another service fee of $35! I never really got to speak with the Boss or the owner. I am very unhappy with their service and since I have a baby living in the house, might have to call another companyInitial Complaint

Ordered from Groupon Vent Cleaning, Dryer Vent Cleaning. Scheduled appointment for 7/25/21; was changed to 7/23 between 12/4 p.m. At 3:30, I called the ************ number to confirm I was going to see a tech on 7/23. Tech called me and stated they were running very late and would have the office call and reschedule. Numerous calls to their number resulted in a voice mail message stating to leave a text message - no return call or response to my test. In checking their information via ****** I find a message "permanently closed". Very disappointed and would like my $49.00 refunded.
