      On 12/25/23, we agreed to $165 an hour for 3 movers. They were there a little under 3 hours, but only by 3 minutes, so no biggie. When it comes time to pay they have a truck/travel fee of $329. This was never discussed, as you can see by email. When I talk to *********************** (the owner) who absolutely loses his mind and threatens to come hurt my family. I did contact ******************* and the local PD to keep them in the loop, as the things he said were flat out unacceptable and unprofessional. Bottom line I should only owe him $165 x 3 = $495 and then x 3% charge for a credit card, which comes out to $509.85. In moving they dont charge tax and I have that documented in another email from him. I have no problem paying the $509.85 now, as that is what was discussed via email documentation. We have used this company 4 other times and we knew upfront what we would be charged for. This time he is trying to add a hidden fee, which on their website it says they dont do.

      We were hired to load his 26' Uhaul truck in ****, ** which is out of our DFW market and over an hour away from our truck base.  I texted him it would be 4.0 - 5.0 hours charge (attachment of text included) for this service.  The total is 5.0 hours which consist of 3 hours of loading and 2 hours of driving.  In order for a moving company to service this type of move we have to bring our trucks that carry supplies, equipment and movers, otherwise we would show up and the customer would have to provide that for **.  

      *********************** decided he only wanted to pay us for the 3 hours and not the total amount due.  I told him it was not acceptable and if he did not want to pay we would just pursue legal recourse.  

      It is customary in the industry and any mover he would have hired to charge for the travel time to and from the job since it was so far away.

      I am rejecting this response because:   This was never disclosed. His movers said it was a truck fee. We have used this business 4 times and everything was always disclosed and this was not. Driving to and from in a truck counting as hours was never disclosed. I have no problem paying, as we have always paid immediately and given tips to the drivers, food, etc.. he just is having a tough time accepting the fact that he did not include a truck fee in the email. They worked for 3 hours at my house. He never said anything in the email about drive time counting as that. If that was the case I would have never used them. Him threatening violence towards me and vandalism to my house is unacceptable as well. I am hoping for someone from his company to cal me soon, so we can get a proper resolution and pay. Again money isnt the problem. Its him adding a hidden fee/calling it something different know to cover himself. His company promises no hidden fees, but we now know that is a lie and *********************** has some major anger management issues. My family and I are praying he gets help.
