      In 2016 Lariat Builders was retained to put on a new roof on my house. My roof had no leaks prior to this but sustained hail damage and my insurance company offered to replace it. The adjuster suggested Lariat and unfortunately I hired them. Shortly after the new roof was installed i had leaking through the roof into the house. Lariat came out and attempted to fix the leaks on the roof and also repaired the interior damage. The roof leaked again through the same spot and an additional spot. It once again led to significant interior damage from the water leaks. Lariat came out again and tried to seal off the leaks. While one spot has not leaked again the other location has. Beyond never answering his phone and the company not calling back, the owner *************************** has refused to honor their warranty and tried to say that the leak had nothing to do with the roof replacement. Clearly their company is responsible since the leaks began when the roof was installed by Lariat.

      Thank you for reaching out to our office regarding your concern. ******************************* has made contact with our client, and has agreed to allow a 3rd party to inspect the completed work and identify the issue. It is our suspicion that the leaks are a result of a compromised seal on a skylight, which is unrelated to the scope of work that our company performed. If the interior damage is caused as a result of a roof leak not otherwise previously located, then we will gladly make the repairs as necessary. Our customer has agreed to notify our office of the date and time of the 3rd party inspection, so that we may be in attendance. We have advised our client that we are willing to work with him to find a solution so that his home is restored.

      As stated in my conversation with ********************, I wanted to contact to my insurance company to see if they would hire a 3rd party company to inspect my roof, damage, and make any repairs. I was explicit that our next step would be contingent on their response. Their response was in fact that the next step was to give Lariat Builders an opportunity to address the problems. I have sent this message to ******************** and have not heard back. Furthermore, once again in his response, ******************** mischaracterized the leaks and damage in my home. There are in fact 2-3 water damaged interior spots in the house, only one of which is near a skylight. In spite of this, I reject the assertion that the skylight leak is not caused by a faulty roof installation as there were other leaks as well. Per ************************ offer in his phone call to me and the guidance from my insurance company, I am willing to give Lariat Builders the opportunity to fix all the problems related to their installation of a new roof on my home. I have provided several options of times in the next week and will wait to hear back from Lariat.

      Our office reached out to ********************** immediately after receiving notice of this complaint. In an amicable manner, we set a date to inspect the home to validate ************************** concerns. ************************** concerns were addressed on the spot. There are interior repairs pending, which our customer has agreed to allow us to perform after a water test is performed on his roof to ensure that no further issues will arise. We believe our customer was treated with respect and our office did apologize for a mistake that was made, and he has been reassured that Lariat will remain focused on ensuring that he is completely satisfied with his experience.
