      We are buying property from lone star and have had no issues till this.we have never paid taxes in Dec. We was billed this month right at Christmas and told it was due the 31st. My husband was not aware that he was exempt so he paid them as soon as I realized I contacted them and they said they could not refund or put money toward our principal. We live on a fixed income . When I complained they told me office manager would call me she hasn't nor will she *************.

      everything we do is over the phone.we have been here 6 years . my husband is a 100 percent disabled and a vet . we live paycheck to paycheck. everything was great till just recently . it started out they said we was behind on our payments we had receipts showing we wasnt and they said they was mistaken and one payment they forgot to carry thru. i had notified ****** that *** was a vet when ******************** passed that bill.theres one lady over there that has  a chip on her shoulder , i have tried to contact ****** myself and she is either avoiding my calls or not getting the message.

      I heard from them and was told we needed a septic tank and it had to be certified I informed them I do have one and it's certified thru the state not town. She ****** said she would contact the county and call me back she has not. I paid them not the county and they need to give back my money and not pass the buck my next step will be to go to news if money is not paid back

      Good morning ******, I was able to gather some additional information about this. Apparently this customer contacted our office and claim that they are exempt from property taxes on the land that they are paying us for. This apparently was an exemption for 100% disability, which we had no knowledge of.  My stepson, *************************** personally went to the tax office in ******************* to inquire about this exemption. They gave him the necessary paperwork to be filled out by the customer which he forwarded on to them. The tax office did informed him that the exemption would be only for The property that they are living on, and not all the additional land that they have under contract with us. They also informed him that these people must have an approved septic system, which apparently they do. 
      What they need to do is fill out the necessary paperwork that was given to them and deliver it to the tax office so that the exemption will be recognized for next year. We have no control over tax evaluations or exemptions. In the meantime, we will refund the taxes on the property that they are living on to honor that exemption even though we had to pay it.

      If that is the case thennothing has changed. I WILL Lcontact the govenors office because silerra *********************** to make up things yobenefit them. If I'm wrong I will back off but them  nothing has changed . We was told before the bill thT we could get exemption  on one and half off another . So what good did exemption do. I'm continuing  this because I'm done with *******************.  My husband is disabled and I have no choice to stand and push for his rights

      Im sorry youre going through this and I hope you can get some kind of resolution either with the state or the county. We just dont have any authority to change the amount of taxes that are charged for any particular property. In the meantime, I would suggest filling out the paperwork you were given and getting that over to the county tax office so that they can recognize the property that youre on for the exemption youre wanting.

      I need your company to stop calling me about some property in *********** that I have no knowledge about. Every month I get close to 5 calls about it and your employees never take me off their list. ********************* is particularly asinine about the whole thing. He behaves as though it is my fault that your records are wrong. Get it together people!

      This is the first time that we have been aware of this complaint being filed Concerning our company. We have never called anybody trying to purchase real estate in *********** or anywhere else. Have no idea who ********************* is and he definitely does not work for our company.
