I purchased a vehicle on 3/24/2025 and the dealership has not sent my information for registration and license plates to the tag office and my temporary tags have expired so I contacted the dealership and they have not sent new temporary tags after ensuring me they would. I have been in constant communication with the tag office and the dealership about this problem with no resolution.

On Feb.14 I bought a 2020 ******** 2020 xt4. When I got home I noticed one of the headlights was alot dimmer than the other. I took a video and called them about it. ***** in service said they will take care of it and for me to send a photo which I did. So i waited a few days and heard nothing so I replied to the email and no response. I called back up there and talked to the manager in service he said he didnt know anything. I sent him the picture and next thing you know he said the whole light has to be replaced and he could give me a quote smh. So I talked to the sales manager and he said he cant do anything. I asked them to have the owner call but havent heard from him. The headlight costs $2700 to replace and the kicker is they sold me a $1800 "bumper to bumper" warranty that doesnt cover it

    Dear *******,
Thank you for reaching out and for bringing this matter to our attention. I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you've experienced following your recent vehicle purchase.
We understand how disappointing it must be to encounter an issue with your vehicle so soon after purchaseespecially when you were assured it would be addressed. While the 2020 ******** XT4 was sold As-Is, which means that any repairs after the sale are the responsibility of the buyer, we also understand your concern regarding the communication gaps you've encountered and the warranty coverage confusion.
Your experience with our service and sales teams not being on the same page is not reflective of the level of care we strive to provide. Ill be personally reviewing this matter with our team to ensure better communication and follow-up in the future.
Regarding the headlight, since it was brought to our attention shortly after the sale and you were initially told it would be looked into, Id like to see if theres anything we can do to find a more reasonable solution like an aggressive discount on the repair.
We appreciate your business, and again, Im very sorry for the way this has unfolded. Please reach out to us directly at ******************************* if you would like to proceed further with the discounted quote.

    Business Response

    Hello *******,
Both yourself and the dealership agreed that the vehicle was sold AS-IS at the time of sale. Additionally, you agreed that the dealership owes you nothing per the signed and attached We Owe. If we had committed to anything after the sale, the We Owe" document would be used to state that contractually. Again, I understand the frustration that your service contract isnt covering your headlight. We will continue to review our processes to make sure that we deliver a superior used vehicle to the market at a fair price. We wish you the best,

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:   I was told this car was inspected by your mechanic and nobody mentioned the headlight. Your sales person said he was going to make it right. You even offered to help until you heard how much it was and probably the reason it wasnt disclosed. My text conversation is attached

I purchased my daughter a 2018 **** F150 in November and in January we already had to take it in and they said it needs a new engine. We have purchased many vehicles and always get the highest warranty. We found 3 vehicles for my daughter and let her choose the one she wanted all from different dealerships. We had the financing and service contract approved through the bank and ready to go. WellSign it Drive it will only let you finance through them and they will only let you do a service contract through them. We thought this sounded weird and shady but decided to proceed since my daughters heart was set on this truck. Well they explained the Service Contract to us and then had us sign but come to find out they only provided page 1 of the full 8 page service contract and the information they gave us was not accurate. First of all you can only use them for service repairs but they state and in the contract it states that approved repairs will be covered with diagnostic and labor. Well they added in there that their labor rate was $90 and that is what the contract with the warranty is setup for but they are charging us $160. It says we have $250 deductible and labor and everything will be covered except fluids well due to the fact that they charge a different rate than they stated on the contract to the warranty service we now had to pay $1500 in labor even though we bought the highest warranty that covers all this. We have called and explained and the warranty company said that is the rate we approved because that is what Sign It Drive It said their rate of labor was and what they would reimburse. We purchased the vehicle for about $19,000 3 months ago and purchased a warranty for $2,700 with false information given to us. Something needs to be done about this as their contract and information provided to customers and the warranty company are contradicting and it appears they are just trying to make extra money where they can.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/04/2025

Mr. ************* is unfortunate that you had a major mechanical breakdown within 3 months of purchase. If you cant find a copy of your service contract we can provide it upon request. The $2,700 you paid for the service contract represents an excellent value on a 7 year old truck with ******* miles as you have already received full value from your service contract! Out of the total bill of $8,335.47 I show the service contract paying $4,666.27, we are "good willing" $2,169.20, and you will have only paid $1,500. We wish you the best!

    Customer Answer

    Date: 03/12/2025

I am rejecting this response because:   Per the warranty company the price for labor put on the contract by Sign it Drive it was $90 an hour.  They said the company should put their labor rate as per the contract the labor is covered for issues under warranty.  Why is $90 put on there of that is not the rate charged.  The warrant says labor is covered so it is contradicting and honestly just shady.  Also,  the fact the sales representative didnt include the complete contract and said to get the highest warranty because it covers everything is very questionable as well.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/14/2025

    Hello ******,
The $90 per hour on the contract is based on basic economics. The price paid per hour on the contract is commensurate with the direct cost to the consumer. Thus, a middle ground between coverage and pricing to our customers has been chosen. As costs for repairs rise we will continue to review the products we offer to the public. The vehicle service contact is a financial loss mitigation tool. It is not a warranty. We will continue to review processes so that customers fully understand what they are purchasing. Our customers do have a lot of information to assimilate and decisions to make during a quick and short purchasing transaction. We wish you the best,

I took my car in for a light that was on needing a water pump replacement, which was covered by the warranty. When they couldn't get any money out of me for that the service man indicated that the front brakes needed to be replaced (which didn't, I drove there with no concern for the brakes). They have had my car for a week and a half with little to no follow-up. When I finally call today to see what's going on with my car, they tell me that my car is ready for pickup and the cost is over a $1,000 for a brake job, which was not authorized.Suddenly the guy who checked my car in no longer works there and everyone else is sorry, but all they know is what they see. BS!! I never would have authorized a $1000+ brake job. The service men are rude and unwilling to hear the customers point of view. Don't waste your money here they are dishonest.

    Hello *******,
I have reviewed your repair order of $1,112.68 on your Land Rover. Of that total amount only $190.80 were for your front brakes. Since the service advisor was no longer employed by our company we opted to goodwill a majority of your total repair which included your stated concern of a water pump. I show that out of that total owed you only paid $300.80, warranty paid $280.59. and dealership Goodwill was $531.29. Thank you for your time,

I purchased a vehicle from them back in April 2024. A 2018 Kia ******** When I test drove the vehicle I noticed that a warning light was on. It read "Check Blind Spot Warning System". I asked the sales man ******* about it and he told me that I could turn it off. Apparently he was wrong. I purchased the car thinking that you could turn it off. A few days went by after purchasing it that I noticed that light wasn't turning off. I called the dealership and the stated that I could take it back so their service department could take a look at it. After a week with no car, they finally told me that they needed to order parts and take it back a 2nd time. I took it back on 4/26 to get that repair job done, which he told me could take about 5-6 hrs. By the afternoon, I had to reach out to them only to find out that the technician couldn't calibrate the sensors so it would be until Monday. On Monday It was determined that it was the audio module. They ordered the audio module. I took it back and they swapped out the audio module. On May 15th, their tech said there was a wiring issue and needed more time. At this point I'm out of a car for about 3 weeks. I picked up my car on May 17th. As soon I drove off, the Blind Spot Collision Warning Light came back on and the *** wasn't calibrated. I took it back on June 3rd. The next day they told me the only the right side was failing, but now the left side was failing. But since the original problem was with one sensor they wouldn't fix the other side. Even though it was the entire system that failed. They said it was repaired on June 7th and again as I drove off, the Blind Spot Collision System warning light turned on. At this time I figured that I'd just take it to a *** Dealership. After taking it to **** it was determined that the monitor wasn't placed correctly and the brackets to hold it were missing. The car was in a read end accident and the repairs were never done correctly. Stay away from Sign It Drive It!

    ****,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely apologize for the frustrations you faced with your 2018 Kia ******** We understand how disappointing it can be to encounter issues with a vehicle after purchase.
When buying a vehicle As-Is, we aim to provide transparency about its condition, and we regret that your experience regarding the Blind Spot Warning System did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your patience during the repair process and understand how inconvenient being without your vehicle can be. I have also uploaded your we owe which states Nothing owed or promised at the point of sale.
We take your feedback seriously and will review the details of your case to improve our service moving forward. We wish you the best!

Bought a 2020 ****** Rav 4 LE in January 2024 and have had nothing but problems. Uneven head lights, double threaded oil pan, coolant valve needing replacement, rim hub caps falling off, back middle seat not buckled alarm going off when nobody is in the middle. I was told by ***** up reach out to car fax to see about a buy back and car fax doesn't do those. Spoke to ****** when I called back again today and while not muted, I hear him explaining what's going on and he's being told "We don't give a Fuck" and "What the f*** do I want them to do " This upset me. My husband got on the phone with ***** and we are told that they can see about buying it, but they will only buy it for what's it's worth because it has all these issues going on. These are not issues I caused either. These are issues I've been trying to get resolved with no help and just being told I must have bad luck and they don't give a F***

    Business Response

    Date: 09/04/2024

    Hello ******,
We are sorry to hear that you are having problems. Most of the Japanese products like ******, *****, and ****** have a well regarded reputation of reliability. However, it is a used car and there will be future repairs. Im glad none of them have been catastrophic! I believe the conversation you are referencing was between a manager and a sales person. We are always striving to be better as a company and will review our policies and procedures on communication with our employees. We wish you the best!

    Customer Answer

    Date: 09/04/2024

I am rejecting this response because:   This business is not taking responsibility for their actions and rudeness and vehicles they sale. The conversation was directed towards me and was not a casual conversation between a manager and sales team. Sign it Drive it needs new management if this is the conversation they have about their customers. This is a chop shop that sells lemon vehicles and takes advantage of people. So no,  I do not accept the response.  Look at all the negative reviews just from the time I got my car. Sign it Drive it needs to be closed down and all cars go to the junk yard.  The people who sell these cars, need to be held accountable.

    Business Response

    Date: 09/16/2024

    ******,
We do not sell junk cars. However, we do sell used cars. It looks like you have put about 10k on your vehicle since you purchased it from us which is great! Most of the time when customers are upset its because they have had to spend more money out of pocket on their vehicle than previously anticipated. Did you have a pre purchase inspection performed? We do strive to bring quality used vehicles to market at an affordable price and do wish you the best.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 09/20/2024

I am rejecting this response because:   again no responsibility and trying to change the subject. No used car should be sold if a pre- inspection needs to be done by somebody else.  No dealership should have cars that require one.  I have never had to have this done before.  Before the miles were put on the car, the car was taken in with issues, so again, no need to try to change the subject. The point is that the business is vulgar and rude, they don't take responsibility for their actions,  they don't address the issue and try to change the subject, they skate around answers. I'm having to get to come up with $600 to fix the issue. I have decided not to take it to the service department because I myself don't trust sign it to fix the issues so because of the treatment with the sales department.  So right now it's either pay to get my car fixed or pay to keep the electricity and water on and food on the table. Yes my car may have some miles on it, but it's one of those I hope and pray it doesn't overheat or break down each day I have to drive it and I really hope it doesn't happen when my kids are in the car.  It if I have an issue, I know I can't call you guys, because you already don't give a F***.

I was hit in a car accident and my car was totaled, I went to sign it and drive it and purchased a car. I am in a loan with global lending services. In the last 3 months since purchasing the car I have had to pay for a new transmission, alternator, new battery and now the stater. I believe sign it drive it knew this car had a history and did not disclose. Sign it and Drive it will not talk about the situation with me and I am without a reliable transportation to get to work and take care of my dad who has different health issues.

    Hello *******,
I am sorry you have been having trouble with your vehicle in the last 3 months. I see that the 3rd party service contract you purchased has paid $5,645.08 in claims since origination. I do know the cost of vehicle ownership is going up but your decision to protect your investment with a 3rd party service contract has paid off.  We wish you the best!

This dealership has behaved deceitfully. They dont take you onto the interstate during the test drive, so that you can see how it drives at highway speeds. When you drive, you are only able to go 60 with the route they take you. Therefore hiding any kind of issues that would only be discovered at highway speeds. Based off of reviews for this company, I decided to trust them and hoped they would act in good faith, had any problems arose suddenly. However, they have failed to admit any fault. Even worse, they throw in your face that this vehicle is AS IS. It seems very crooked to put a customer in this position and then claim not it. When the problem can be fixed so easily at hardly any cost to them in order to act in good faith. If you sell something that has problems within a week and a half. Do the right thing by your customer and fix the issue that was already existing.

    Business Response

    Date: 07/02/2024

    ******,
Im sorry that you did not find your vehicle satisfactory after your purchase. All used vehicles in ***** are sold as-is and it appears that we need to do a better job of reiterating it to our customers prior to the sale. It is very difficult to financially help customers after the sale as that would impede our aggressive pricing model. Extending good will to a customer after the sale would necessitate building in goodwill prior though a higher initial price on the vehicle. We choose to embrace the legislature's AS-IS provision while repairing vehicles within our reason prior to offering them to the public. We really do wish you the best!

The salesman are good and they do their best to work everything out for you. Do not expect anything after you sign your name on that paper. I have multiple issues with my truck that I bought 1 month and 2 days ago. I called them 2 days after because my check engine light came on and the horn did not work. I tried for over a week to get in touch with the service department. After finally talking to them they told me to bring the truck in but they don't offer any courtesy vehicles, so I had to wait until I was able to arrange a loaned vehicle to get back and forth to work. Now they have my truck and they are denying any knowledge of the issues and they are not taking responsibility for selling me a truck that can't even pass inspection. They are saying I have to pay almost $1700 to fix the problems. They refuse to cover any of the costs because now I'm 2 days past their "warranty." This is the 2nd truck I've bought from them because the first one I bought everything went well but after this mess, I will not be back and I will not recommend.

    Business Response

    Hello *****,
Your vehicle passed inspection prior to listing the vehicle for sale. That is a state requirement for the transfer of all titles. It is unfortunate that you had issues within 1 month and 2 days after purchase. All used vehicles are sold As-Is in ***** and it appears that your repairs were deemed Maintenance items by your 3rd party warranty. We do wish that none of our vehicles break down but that is the only certainty when selling used vehicles. We wish you the best. Thanks,

**Dont be fooled by the 4.5 star rating, like I was*** be sure to read Better Business Bureau reviews as well. Dont be tricked by googles rating.Id give ZERO stars if I could.Unethical business. Save your time, money and business for someone who actually cares and wants your business. SIDI is not it. Very deceiving business, beware!I just bought a vehicle from SIDI less than 72 hours ago on Tuesday February 13th 2024, drove off the lot around 530pm and now its having fuel issues/issues running and It wont even start right now. It died on me while driving. Its a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2.7l turbo 81k miles. *** fax shows its completely clean. It had a rough idle but mostly fine, until I got lower on fuel and then it hesitated and stopped as I was driving down the service road last night. I had to push it off the road to avoid being hit by oncoming traffic. Again, this happened last night around 10pm not even 72 hours of owning it and driving off their lot. I found it has a check engine light that popped up - PO366. I can only assume the code was cleared before me taking the car home so I wouldnt see it. (Happens all the time)I called in this morning to explain as soon as I could and spoke with ***** - the service manager. He was very rude and condescending. Of course I was frustrated, as I just gave them $15k in cash for the truck (financed the remainder through someone else) and here I am 53 hours later the truck is sitting dead in a parking lot. He told me theres nothing he can do, and he was very unwilling to help. So I asked for his manager. He said hes the only one i can talk to there and I cant talk to anybody else in chain of command. And told me because I didnt purchase his warranty that he cant help **** then called back to the main building (sales), and spoke to the General Manager ****. He was also very unwilling to listen or even try to help. He immediately started making excuses about as-is and hes not responsible. I asked to speak someone that could help me, someone higher than him, thats when he informed me hes the ** and that hes it. Hes the only guy I can talk to. This was just like *****, the service manager. Again, hes not the owner, etc. and continually gave excuses. So Im stuck with nobody even willing or trying to help, not even 72 hours after driving off the parking lot with the vehicle and giving them $15k of my cash.Very horrible experience, I was tricked by the 4.5 stars on ******* But DO NOT be tricked by these crooks.Theres no amount of checking the vehicle out you can do, before driving it off the lot and then something go wrong like this. And now this dealership is making excuses, being rude and condescending, and zero effort to try to resolve the issue at hand.DO NOT BUY HERE, DO NOT TEST DRIVE FROM HERE. Chances are the car is bad and theyve put lip stick on it just long enough to get it off the lot and sold as-is(Just wait for the comment from them with a list of easy cop-out excuses, anything other than taking ownership and responsibility. Just look at all the other reviews. Constant gas lighting)Extremely horrible customer service, and only care until you sign your name on the line. After that youre on your own.

    Hello ****,
I am sorry that you are having issues with your truck so soon after purchase. It is true that ALL vehicles sold in ***** are AS-IS unless a manufacturers warranty is in place. To hedge the liability of mechanical breakdown most of our customers choose to purchase a 3rd party service contract to mitigate the need for unexpected financial repair costs. We wish you the best,

I am rejecting this response because: the issue was preexisting with the truck. Sign it drive it was already aware of the problem at Hand. And sold the vehicle Deceitfully.

Thats the reason it sat on the lot for 60+ days. When I asked **** he told me because nobody has bought it yet.

the Issues Im having were always known to the dealer.

this dealership knowingly sold a faulty vehicle without mentioning it as such, and cleared all codes for the sell. Everything under the hood has been touched by sign it drive it prior to purchase. They knowingly sold a bad vehicle as a good vehicle with the price to go with it.

Of course theyll cop out behind sold as is. Very cowardly behavior for grown men.

now Im sitting with a vehicle that Im paying a bunch of money out of pocket for, when I apparently I was sold a reliable vehicle

this business cant even stand behind a newer vehicle for even 3 days. That says all they is needed to say.

sign it drive it operates under immorality and deceit. HORRIBLE business practice.

    ****,
I do understand that you are upset because your truck needs repair. In order for a dealer to sell a vehicle in ***** the vehicle must pass a state inspection which requires an ODB2 scan of the vehicle's computer system. This precludes your accusation of clearing codes which is not possible as the monitors must pass the manufacturer threshold for proper operation. Further, a business would not be sustainable if one was consistently operating under the guise of immorality and deceit. If we did that not only would consumer confidence quickly erode but the conscience of our employees would be irreparably wounded.  Again, we could not operate a sustainable business while knowingly engaging in hiding mechanical defects. This we did not do. We wish that all our vehicles would last a very long time for our customers.

I am rejecting this response because: its false information.  Im very aware how codes are ran/cleared etc, in addition to passing smog/emissions tests. It doesnt take much to reset adaptives and computer. It takes ******* miles sometimes for computer to come back around. Thats exactly what happened. The vehicle was just good enough to get off the lot. Every single thing under the engine cover had been messed with. Theres several missing nuts/bolts and plastic clips broken.

theres zero chance the issue happened within 36 hours of leaving your dealership.  It wasnt even 200 miles later and all of monitors and codes started showing back up. Ive been driving a 2009 Silverado that now has 334k miles that is more reliable than the 2021 Silverado I bought off Sign it drive it car lot.

this company is literally garbage for operating as such and continue to hide behind all of the excuses and technicalities, your reputation and reviews speak for themselves.

I hope one day Sign it drive it will operate morally and take responsibility for the vehicles theyre selling.

I got tricked into buying a faulty vehicle from Sign it Drive it. Just like many others have. The multiple recent BBB complaints arent a fluke. It wasnt a one-time thing.

your company continues to operate under immoral values and hide behind easy cop outs.

NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE, YOUR CAR IS 99% CHANCE A TICKING TIME BOMB.

read carefully, the responses from the business - no accountability. Zero customer service. Zero customer retention.

    HORRIBLE, DECEITFUL, MANIPULATIVE, IMMORAL BUSINESS
