Absolutely the worst pest control company Ive ever used! First, never once in almost a year of service did they fix our spider problem. Their solution did not work! Second, the guy sprayed chemical in large arcs all over my walls even after repeatedly asking (him and the company) to please spray on the floor along the baseboard. I have two painted black walls that have been damaged. Third, after calling to cancel because I was not happy with the service they charged $150 dollars to cancel. The sleazy door to door sales guy assured us that we werent under contract and showed us that hed made specific note of it when we agreed to let him give it a try on a month to month basis. Their sales people will not take NO for an answer. They have been to my door 3 times in the past 24 hours. They have been told NO multiple times. I now consider this harrassment. I gave the 2 men at my door today an official trespass notice, & told them to tell the company that I will call the police the next time I see an ecoshield person on my property.Review from Wyatt W

After one year of trying to get rid of the past in my yard, in which they made the situation, worse, not better, we discontinued service as they did not fulfill their end of the contract. Ants in our yard became more proliferative after their treatment, and we are worse now than when we started with them one year ago. Im been notified numerous times during this year to come out and correct this problem of which the problem was not fixed ever. I could understand if the problem was much improved. However, they only worsened the problem.Review from Carly W

Absolutely terrible customer service. I cannot trust this company. They wrongfully charged my credit card for someone else's services for over 6 months. I called multiple times telling them they were double charging me and there was an issue. It was never resolved, and they could never let me talk to a manager or anyone besides ******* or the customer service agent who answered the phone. I finally figured out what was going on after they continued to tell me they were not over charging me. Once I figured it out, they admitted I was correct but would not refund me. On top of that they owe me $1300 that they say there is nothing they can do about it. However, they sent my information to a collection agency saying I owed them for services. On top of it all, ******* told me worst case scenario he would personally refund me and then he quit answering my calls and texts and the issue has never been resolved.Review from Christie D

2 men came to my house in July 21. We talked about the ant infestation in our yard. We had a fence in the back, and were told they would never go beyond that. One guy was talking to us and walking around yard. The other was out front, we thought treating the yard where the ants were. Please note this is for contract made in *****.I signed a 24 month contract, and was told I had to have my second treatment within ***************************************************************************** the house, just outside. Unfortunately, we did not realize they were not really treating the yard, they sprayed the base of the house and the porch. We found out much too late, when we realized we called into cancel, to learn we had not been told the truth by the salesman. He had said if we wanted to cancel, we would be charged a month's fees, they didn't hold people to the contract. Another thing learned too not be true.To cancel we were told we had to pay out the 24-month contract!!! So, we sucked it up and paid for services we were not even wanting. We had to hire another company to treat the ants in the yard. This July was 24 months. We tried to cancel, was told that no services started in August. They started billing from signature I thought was saying I received treatment. I showed them the photo in their records posted in July proving first treatment was July. I sent photos, and letters to headquarters and a place in *****. I did finally get a bill saying I could get it all to go away for like $89. However, I had family go into hospital and was making trips out of state, life has been hectic for last few weeks. I just today got a bill stating I am delinquent....which I have never had another treatment since their last visit, and payment is auto debited for services! Now I am told that it was not a 24 month contract which it states on the receipt. I was told I had to complete 13 treatments, and I had rescheduled in the 2 years and needed to go longer.Review from Nick A

I have been a EcoSheild customer for a while with multiple properties and their service is very inconsistent and they do not follow up. During my last service at my property the tech sat in his car in front of my property for 20 minutes (I later came to find out he did this because they have GPS on their trucks so it looks like he spent a longer time at my property) then got out and only spent 3-4 min doing one pass of granules thru a portion of my front yard with no treatment or service to my backyard or inside my home. I was then sent a bill for a full service with notes saying they did way more than what was actually done. I called the office and they said it would be looked into. I have received no follow up or refund and my only option is to pay the cancelation fee or continue paying for service which has little to no value due to the inconsistent effort. At my current property I have seen little to no improvement in bugs around the exterior of my home.Review from Elena D

ECOSHIELD ********** Branch has been treating my home now for over a year. I have been extremely happy with the service and the technicians who have come by my home. *****, my technician, always knocks my door and asks if I need anything special before treatment and has always been careful with what he sprays since I have a toddler running around. From the very first person who knocked on my door to talking with the local staff (I avoid calling their corporate office) the staff members Ive dealt with have been far nicer and are great at customer service! I always leave great reviews for them when they email us our service report but I never thought to jump on BBB and leave a nice review. Seems like nowadays, this site is only for complaints but at the end of the day its a service company just like ***** of other companies and they cant please everyone. I have recommended Ecoshield Pest Solutions to all my neighbors and Id give them more stars if I could! Ps - From reading other reviews, the salesman originally was up front with me about everything. They do service agreements, which I did 24 months so I could get a lower rate as long as I use them. Also he was upfront with me if I wanted to cancel, they ask back for the original discount they gave me on the very first treatment. Ive had some spiders keep coming back (because I live next to a creek) and anytime I have issues, I call and they have sent a touch up truck to come out and treat immediately. Similar to a lot of the other experiences. The people that came to the house were nice, but when their product didn't work, it was a nightmare trying to cancel the service. After 35 minutes of getting the runaround, and saying I wanted to cancel repeatedly, I finally had to get mad and they finally agreed to cancel my contract. High pressure sales tactics to try and get me to stay. I would not recommend to anyone.Review from BR H

Nice people. We wanted them to treat our yard for fleas. We had them for 2 years. Never was our flea problem controlled. We tried cancelling...they won't cancel you. They have someone that doesn't speak good English and does not even try to answer your concern. Very frustrating. The last 2 times they would not treat cause there was a neighbors dog in the cul-de-sac. Still charged **. We wouldn't pay so turned ** over to collections. Others may have had better results but the only thing we needed was to try to limit fleas on our dogs. They only go out for 10 minutes. Zero results. I do not recommend.Review from Iv G

I opened the door for a door to door salesman who was very persistent. While we were chatting the services seemed really good and he asked for my name and email. When asked about my backyard he took off and opened my gate and walked into my backyard by himself. After I kept saying no a few times he finally left. I went into my email and noticed I had received an email. He has sent me a contract with signatures and initials that I had NEVER made myself. He signed the contract himself. Terrible customer service.
