She used my take of what ******* manager told me which was conflicting.******* manager, after I told her where the incident occurred, first said the police had to get the video, but later said she didn't have cameras on that side. I believe there are two cameras on that side.***** didn't give me the pics the other driver used as evidence against me. To Whom it May Concern:This shall serve as the response of MGA Insurance Company, Inc. (GAINSCO), to the consumer request for assistance dated April 18, *******. ****s policy was purchased through the GAINSCO Auto Insurance Agency, Inc., on January *******. The effective dates of the policy were January 15, 2025, to July 15, 2025. On her application, Ms. **** included one vehicle, a 2012 Dodge Avenger, and herself as the only covered driver on the policy. The selected coverages included only Liability coverage for Bodily Injury and Property Damage. All other coverage was rejected. On February 27, 2025, Ms. **** amended her policy to replace her 2012 Dodge Avenger with a 2016 **** Focus. She added Collision and Comprehensive coverage for the **** Focus. She also added her daughter, **** ****, to the policy as an insured driver. These two changes caused the overall policy premium to increase.Adding drivers and vehicles to an auto insurance policy will often cause the total policy premium to change. Insurance rates fluctuate for a variety of reasons and rates are based on several factors. These include, but are not limited to, the make and model of the insured vehicle(s), the types of coverage selected, the age and driving experience of the covered drivers, and the driving records of covered drivers. On April 3, 2025, Ms. **** requested to cancel her policy with GAINSCO. The cancellation became effective as of that date. Filed a claim against another driver that had Gainsco after a rock came up from his trailer and hit my windshield. He has an open trailer with unsecured debris. Sent video evidence and pictures to the adjuster. The adjuster was reluctant to answer my calls. I hadn't heard from them in months so decided to escalate the case. The adjuster said because they hadn't heard from the other driver, they did not need to pay out the claim on top of that if they did hear back from them, they would not cover it anyways because they only cover vehicle on vehicle damage. This seems like fraudulent form a company that does not want to pay out.

Gainsco has been nothing but a nightmare to work with. No one returns your phone calls, why state in your vaicemail that if a message is left before 3pm you will get a return call the same day, but it never happens. I cant even get them to call me back period. I was involved in a accident and my vehicle was towed to a tow yard, since GAINSCO took so long to award coverage on the claim the tow yard Sold my vehicle, thats right you heard that correctly they sold my vehicle. When I let my adjuster know, ******** ******, he continuously stated to me that if they could not locate the vehicle they would t treat it as a total loss. After weeks of telling me this they decided to just send me a check for $2,300 for payment on the claim for damages to my vehicle that they hadnt even seen. Thats not treating it as a total loss, and what the h*** am I suppose to do with the $2,300 if I have no vehicle to fix because it was sold off. Now I have to get an attorney and go after them some how. They lie to you, never call you back, and are straight up shady. Find other insurance besides GAINSCO.

The above-mentioned loss was reported to GAINSCO on October 14, 2024, by Mr. ****** *******. A recorded statement was obtained from Mr. ******* on 10/14/2024, in which he informed us that the unlisted vehicle, a 2021 Grand Cherokee, was replacing the listed vehicle, a 2015 **** F-150. It was confirmed with the bill of sale that Mr. ******* purchased the unlisted vehicle on September 21, 2024. The insured attempted to add the vehicle to the policy, but the agency was closed for two weeks due to Hurricane ****** striking ******* on September 26 and 27, 2024. The 14-day window to add the unlisted vehicle fell within the time of the Emergency Order in ********Coverage was cleared on 11/25/2024, and the 2021 Grand Cherokee has now been added to the policy. A mitigation letter was also sent on 11/25/2024. Due to the tow yard selling Mr. ********* vehicle before we could inspect it, the material damage team completed an initial estimate based on the photos supplied by Mr. ******* on 12/5/2024. Payment was issued on 12/20/2024 after we confirmed the correct payee, as the new ownership showed a new owner.Based on the photos we received; the vehicle was deemed repairable. On 1/10/25 The supplement process was explained to Mr. ******** and he was informed that the vehicle would likely still be repairable even if a large supplement were needed; however the estimate was made based on the photos received. Payment was issued to Mr. ****** as the vehicle owner. Mr. ******* wants his vehicle total, but its not a total based on industry best practices.

After having this insurance company for 8 years, they have raised my rates to over $130 a month. And this is only for liability. I had to remove the full coverage because it was just too expensive. I am not a young driver and I have never had an accident. I always pay my premiums on time. I called this morning and they told me there was nothing they could do to lower my premium! I am not going to pay $130 for liability insurance anymore. This company is money hungry

Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with!!! Every month I set my auto pay up and every month it gets removed and then canceled. They notify you of issue and cancel you same day so there is no opportunity to resolve. I have had to pay several deposits month after month only to continue to have the same thing happen!! When you call customer service they are EXTREMELY unhelpful and refuse to address or fix any issues. They use a third party for everything so no use in even contacting customer service. This ********************** is a SCAM and will continue to rip you off!! Do not use them you will end up paying out of pocket even for claims.

Reasonable and Necessary would be to cover 100% of expenses if you as the insurance company are representing the at-fault party. I would have $0 in expenses had the GAINSCO policyholder not collided into my vehicle in the first place. ******** excuse and just bad business. The cost of a few days of rental extension is probably less than the monetary loss and detriment to your brand from negative BBB reports and social media posts/videos.
