My coworkers and I came here for a two night stay, and arrived to a dirty room that also reeked of cigarettes and had a nonstop whistling sound coming from somewhere. My coworkers also had rooms that were visibly dirty and smelled. When I went downstairs and asked to move hotels, I was told I would not be reimbursed. From there we asked the front desk and the supervisor on duty for new rooms and to haveu them inspected before we went up. Once again, we arrived to dirty rooms. I went downstairs and waiting for my coworkers to check out. While waiting, the team at the front desk, the same employee and supervisor who inspected our rooms were visibly laughing at us, mocking us, and smirking that we had our luggage. We checked out and asked to speak with a manager, but unfortunately she was not in. Fast forward to today, we came in person to try and ask for a refund and explain our concerns. We were immediately greeted by the manager who was rude from the beginning. She said why do you need to speak to me but then proceeded to share that she heard all about our situation already. Since the hotel was sold out we could not be refunded. We offered to share photographic evidence of the dirty rooms, including mold, and shared how the front desk was rude. The manager dismissed us completely and told us to contact ******. We asked her to okay the video footage of her team mocking us, she looked at two other individuals behind the desk who said we didnt laugh, that one was just rude. We shared how we were ****** Honors members, and asked for the names of all of them and she once again said you can call ******. The blatant disrespect, lack of concern, and rudeness was just mind boggling. Zero professionalism, hospitality, or empathy. It is a shame. Clearly the lack of professionalism stems from the manager herself, which translates to her team thinking that someones genuine concern for cleanliness and Hilton standards should be shrugged off and openly mocked.
