I have called Foundation Repair Solutions every day for the last two weeks. I just want to transfer my warranty to the new owner of my house, however no one has ever returned any of my calls. The receptionist is polite and says she will mark the message as "urgent" or "priority" but I have yet to talk to anyone but her. In fact today I asked to talk to anyone at all and she said she was the only one there. The house is in escrow and the matter is daily becoming more pressing. This should be a simple matter to resolve...IF anyone would ever call me back.Business response

The company never did an inspection to make sure that the work was done correctly. Throughout the entire process I had an extremely hard time, speaking with people at the company, and had to threaten to cancel my check at one point just to get them to call me back. I have since been trying to contact the company and they will not call me back so now Im pursuing other actions. I feel like I should either get my money back or they need to have someone come out here and do a formal inspection to verify that the work that they did was correct. Also while they were doing the work, not one person that worked on the house spoke English so I couldnt even communicate with the crew. I was continuously lied to, and told that they would have a site manager come out to speak with me and also repair some of the areas that they messed ** in my yard.Business response

The home was inspected by the crew that adjusted the home, thats how they know what areas to raise and lower depending on the property type and layout. A "formal inspection" is done by a structural engineer which was bot part of the contract as customer is outside of city limits and this nor permit are required and or requested by the homeowner prior to our contract.Initial Complaint

Foundation Solutions did my original foundation work. It has a lifetime warranty. I now need adjustments to the foundation. I began calling them in October. On 11/2/23 their contractor came out (****) and check the house and verified it did need adjustment. He said he would report to the office and someone would call to set appointment for work to be done. Since then I have called the office 7 times. Each time I am told the same response. I am receptionist and cannot tell you but will have one of the team call you back. The calls have never been returned. All I want is for them to honor their warranty.Business response

We apologize for the misunderstanding, the customer was notified we would adjust a few piers under warranty but a few more needed to be installed which we could take care of at no cost but needed some time to get to it. Customer will need to pay for 2 piers to be installed after the ******* are adjusted since a joining area has also settled.Initial Complaint

A-1 Foundation Repair Solutions did foundation work at our lake house on Cedar Creek Lake. The foundation of the home appears to be sinking on one side and I have left several messages about the situation over several weeks time, and the messages are not being returned to get someone out to look at the home.Business response

Answering service was unaware this was a different property address than what was given and they did not believe it to be a customer. We will reach out to customer for warranty claim. I recently purchased a home that had foundation repairs completed earlier this year by Foundation Repair Solutions. About a month ago cracks started to show and it is pushing out the sheetrock causing extensive damage. The sellers provided me with the Limited Lifetime Foundation Repair Warranty, which states it is transferable to one future homeowner (me). On 10/3/23 (11:42 AM), I called the number provided on the warranty for FRS, but the call went straight to voicemail, so I left a message but never received a response. I called the same number again on 10/10/23, but it went straight to voicemail. Given the urgency of the rapid damage occurring, I decided to call the regular number for FRS that is intended for new customers (not warranty). I spoke with the operator (she was very friendly) and told her my issues and requested for the person in charge of warranties. The rep. said the person responsible was unavailable, so she took my information and provided it to the person responsible. On 10/13/23, I never received a response, so again I called both numbers. The operator was very friendly again, confirmed my information, and reassured me that someone would be reaching out shortly. She said she would personally followup with that individual. Well, 10/17/23 rolled around with no contact from FRS. Again, called the number and followed the same steps. Well today is 10/26/23 and I still haven't received a response from FRS. I called and again was reassured someone would be reaching out ASAP - again nothing. All of the above calls were during business hours. I really wish I did not have to reach out to BBB for help getting this resolved, but I am desperate for them to service their work that is failing.Business response

******* came out to look at the damage and advised that nothing could be done to fix the issue. He said pushing up the sinking foundation would only cause more issues. It seems odd to me that their failing work can not be fixed. I am currently seeking second opinions.Customer response

Also, I made multiple attempts to contact FRS after submitting my case to BBB. They only responded once I told them a case was submitted to the BBB.
This is not resolved until I can get other options. Please reopen.

Portion of the garage that is settling is a portion we did not perform work on. Sent our ******* out and he advised the homeowner if area was raised in that section of the garage it would effect the kitchen and he did not suggest that to be performed. I am rejecting this response because: ******* said nothing could be done to fix the issue. The two sides of the garage they worked on is still sinking and causing damage to the kitchen. I am researching other companies to inspect. If they confirm nothing can be done, Ill close.Customer response

Area in red is a slab with what I believe is a floating slab inside and footing around perimeter. We just worked on that area alone. The area in black is the area settling on the floatong slab that is low. This is a garage conversion, our contract was with the previous owner not this one. The kitchen that comes up next to the garage is higher than the home. If additional work was completed to raise the section we did not work on this would cause the kitchen to be higher than it currently is. If this is a true floating slab than it will need injections to raise it up. Work we did will not solve customers issue. We do not want to do additional work for customer to attempt this area as it is not the correct course of action raising the kitchen higher.Initial Complaint

10/28/21-Invoice #XXXXXXX-$32,800.00, although this was for 2 houses. We no longer own one of the homes. They leveled the foundation, but failed to level the porch, so now, there are 2 columns that the roof is no longer resting on. They also broke the water line to the sprinkler system, as well as not backfilling or putting a product under the foundation for it to rest on. They broke some boards on the back deck and did a bad job on the front deck. We not only want it fixed and/or a portion of our money back, but we want an apology, as well.Business response

The porch was not part of the original contract even though we agreed to come out to correct it for him shortly. Our ours for service is 9-4, Unfortunately unknown to the customer our Manager in charge was out for surgery from 8-11-22 until 9-2-22. He was made aware and contacted the customer and made it where the customer can contact him directly on the voicemail when he tried to reach him 8-30-22 1:36. We honor the warranty and will repair anything that falls under the warranty. Unfortunately it was an unusual time we had the Manager handling this out for longer than expected. We apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding that was not our intention. I dealt with a person by the name of william ****** that handled my contrac i have called and left numberous phone calls emails and called the company i talked to ****** july 18th 2022 and he said he would send me a copy and he would return my phone call about getting someone here to check my foundation so i waited on the 20th of july 2022 i started calling ****** and now he wont return my call and niether will the company all i want is mt contract papers that i signed for and for someone to come out here and check my foundation it cost me 25,000 to get my foundation done please can u help me out my insurance company is going to cancell my insurane if i dont show proof the foundation was doneBusiness response

I tried to contact the company regarding my warranty. I would like to have someone come out and check some previous work done to our property. Unfortunately, the company does return phone calls. I was told the manager Chris is the only one who can assist me. I called them two days in a row with no response. The second day the call was placed, the phone just hung up with no dialing. Assistance is needed for this issue.
