      Young man came to my apartment stating that he works directly with the electric company and is not a third party. He asked to look at my electric bill. I stated I worked from him and am busy and he stated he was busy too. Extremely rude and demanding. He was kicked off the property as there is no soliciting here. He would not take no for an answer and was vague about what he was doing there except he could lower my energy cost. This happen today ********* at around 11:30 am cst.

      Thank you for contacting TruEnergy Services, LLC

      I am sorry this happened to complainant.  However, this person who came to her house, is not from our company.  We are an Energy Brokerage firm, who employs NO door-to-door salesman.  All communication with our clients is via telephone, fax, or email and not without the customer's permission first to contact in such a matter. It could quite possibly be from another company that our company gets mistaken for on a regular basis. 

      Complainant may want to reach out them regarding the encounter.

      If someone is fraudulently posing as door-to-door salesman from TruEnergy Services, LLC we would very much like to know. Please provide the exact documentation of such encounter such as name, phone, email and copy of business card or other documentation of such fraudulent representation so that we many contact the appropriate governing agency of such activity.

      I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. 

      the young man gave no information. I saw his badge briefly which the logo was TruEnergy. He stated he was not a third party but working directly with the supplier. Thats all I know. He offered no other information and it was done from his tablet which he wouldnt show me either. That you for the info. I will submit a complaint with them

      Constant phone calls on my landline from True Energy soliciting business I am not interested in. They never stop. I'm on a no call list, and it doesn't matter. I'm tired of them badgering me.

We'd don't prospect in California. 3. We haven't done any prospecting via cold call in nearly 3 months. Beyond that, we'd add. 1. We cannot find any record of this phone number being dialed from our phone system. (we have record of 100% of outbound calls) 2. We cannot find any lead in our system with this name, phone, or any combination thereof. 3. We have proactively added this number to our internal DNC list so it can never be called from our system. There are other firms out there with the same, or similar, name. Perhaps it was a different entity. It does not appear that it was anyone that works for us.       My cell is on the do not call registry, yet I received a cold call from True Energy today (4/18/22 at 10:42AM PST). I informed this caller that I do not want to be on their list and hung up.

Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/04/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I'll let this go. However, I was called by someone (caller id 661 area code) who said that they called me on behalf of "true energy" (I didn't ask for name spelling or company info) and where working with Edison. As I can't validate this data was true, I'll close this complaint.
