We recently hired Kiwi Carpet Cleaning to clean our home's carpets and air ducts. We were extremely pleased with their service as our carpets looked as good as new once they had finished. They even provided us with an option to return within the same year at an affordable price in case we needed our carpets cleaned again. We found their cleaning solution impressive, as it left our carpets looking and smelling fresh and dried much faster than other carpet cleaners we have used. The technician who came to our home was also very professional.Review from Susan S

I was taking advantage of Kiwi's offer to come back for a trip fee ($35) and just $4 per room within a year. They call it a warranty service. Kiwi cancelled on me twice came the 3rd scheduled visit. They did compensate me for the 2 cancellations by waiving the trip fee which is nice, however, they are now down to 1 tech, so they skipped the vacuuming before cleaning and wore outside shoes without shoe protectors.Review from Jean R

Had several oriental rugs "cleaned." One in particular came back in horrid shape; smelling of urine, dusty, stained, and overall disgusting. That was just the worst one. Customer service is horrible. They reclean it with no improvement. They use contractors to transport rugs and I watched the driver take the clean rug, unprotected (not wrapped) out of the trunk of a small sedan crammed full of other rugs and a rug cleaning machine. I lodged a complaint and asked for a refund. It took a couple of months to agree to a refund and a couple of months for them to tell me the check was mailed on April 15. On April 25 I called to find out about the refund. Today, April 28, they told me it would be mailed tomorrow, April 29. The saga continues.Kiwi Carpet Cleaning Response

I am very sorry I ltrusted them with my Persian rug. It came back looking Worse than it did when I gave it to them. It looks totally ruined with the pile Looking more worn and dark shading in some places. I don't know what They did to it but it looks totally abused.Kiwi Carpet Cleaning Response

We do apologize but the Persian rug has areas of worn fibers in which our senior rug specialist stated that was addressed on the initial pick up. Unfortunately, wear on a textile cannot be restored with a cleaning. If you are in disagreement with this evaluation, we would be more than happy to bring the rug back in and have a third party inspect the rug. Please contact our call center at XXXXXXXXXXX.

I would give zero stars if possible. They ruined the stainless steal on my appliances due to poor preparation. Then offered to refund my cleaning expenses and not anything for the appliances. I would never recommend them to anyone! Elizabeth won't return calls and dealing with them has been the worst experience I've ever had.Review from Dorothy J

I have been waiting for an appointment for over a month and a half that has been cancelled/rescheduled by Kiwi three times. They tried to reschedule yesterday, but I was not hearing that. They stated the technician will be at my home by 10. Today, one hour prior to my appointment, I get a call from Kiwi stating they will not be able to clean my carpet today. I have had furniture moved, done everything I needed to do to prepare for the cleaning, and they are showing up!!. The reason I was given for the cancellation was, "The technician's car broke down, and I don't have anyone else to send out." REALLY!! Needless to say, I am perturbed!! I asked for a manager, president, the owner, a top executive anyone over the person I was speaking with. The rep, who said she is a supervisor, she gave a name. I then asked for a phone number, she wouldn't give me one. I then asked for the person's email address; she refused and gave me a generic email address. She offered to refund my warranty payment, and later called back to say I didn't pay one They gave me a credit because they had TOTALLY messed up my last year's cleaning and scheduling. I have been a Kiwi customer for over 15 years and they are now THE WORST! The website information is very deceptive. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Please read before booking them. Appt was made Thursday afternoon and confirmed for Friday 8am-10am time slot ( I took off work for this). On Friday received a call at 8:18am advised technicians would be delayed. I asked for a new time and none could be given. At 10:43am received second called and informed again technicians would be delayed. I asked for a new time and none could be given. 1:33pm, I called them as no-one has contacted me with any updates. I asked to speak with a supervisor and Carl took my call. He is not a supervisor but called a supervisor, I never personally spoke to a supervisor. The imaginary supervisor told Carl to tell me it was pushed out to dispatch center and that's it. I asked a simple question, would a technician make it out to my house today YES or NO. Carl could not even answer that nor did a supervisor think it was worthy to contact a customer. (side note Carl was not to blame and was professional) at 2:21pm I received a call stating the technician was 20 to 30 minutes out. Its 3:53pm, and I writing this review no show no call. Do not use this company, apparently they can not estimate time to travel and none of their technicians have cell phones that they can be reached to communicate delays or expected arrivals. This company is the worst ever in customer service. I wish I would have checked reviews prior to calling, look bad review in May, Bad review June, bad review in July, now September. I have been a customer for 10 plus years. I first contacted Kiwi in Atlanta at the end of May. I was given a cleaning time in Mid June. This seemed a bit long to wait, but I was willing to wait because I've worked with Kiwi for years. In June they called the day before to confirm and then to move my appt to later in the day, I agreed. They called the morning of and canceled after I'd already moved furniture etc. Someone from the corporate office called me to apologize, said they had to restructure in Atlanta, Covid issues etc. She gave me a date almost 6 weeks later in July, but offered a discount and promised they would show up. Yesterday I get a call from corporate confirming my appt, I asked about them coming for sure etc, she said they'd be coming. Today my appt was between 1 and 3. Someone calls at 1:15, says the tech is running behind and they can't give me an estimate as to when they be arriving. I couldn't understand the person very well, so I called Atlanta customer service again. The customer service person was helpful and called the tech who said they would be heading to my house after they picked up a rug around 3, and someone would call 30 minutes prior to arrival, but when I tried to cancel she said not to because the tech WAS COMING. Fast forward to 3:30, no phone call, no tech. I called again, nice customer service agent called the tech, tech didn't answer, and yet again I'm left with a house full of moved furniture, zero options again, 8 weeks after initially contacting Kiwi and still my carpets aren't cleaned. The agent offered me another price reduction, but I declined. At this point I've put hours into moving furniture, staying on the phone with customer service, and 2 days waiting around all day for Kiwi to do what they said they would. It is bad business (and fraudulent) to book jobs that you know you aren't going to complete. When I spoke with various agents they made it sound like it was normal practice to cancel on people the day of due to staffing. Side note, I called another company recommended in my neighborhood FB page & they are coming next week. I've sang Kiwi's praises for years, no more. This is bad business and an unkind way to treat a solid paying customer.
