A-Max Auto Insurance is a SCAM. The *** great state of ***** should have already shut them down!!! The owners are 3 men from ***** who fund AGA ***** sending money overseas to get refugees smuggled into the ***. They are under investigation. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They are rich because they are s******* over the poorest people in our good country- those who are desparate for car insurance who cant get it anywhere else. Then, in a car accident, of course they DO NOT PAY OUT the claims- in the FINE PRINT, they tell you that they DO NOT HOLD THE POLICY, they pass-through to other companies!!!!

Got a quote i paid for my deposit to start insurance get a call 10 min later saying I needed to pay more for my deposit was promised a refund. ****** knowingly knew they were closing at 5pm on Saturday never processed my refund of $150 had to wait until Monday when offices opened. I had to literally call them in order to get my refund which she should have done first thing on Monday and they were trying to give me the run around for like 30 minutes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY

Did not reveal agency fee until I agreed to and signed offer. ******************************* specifically stated the insurance company was asking for $375 down. When I questioned the cost of insurance she stated" all insurance have gone up". The insurance actually cost $272 to start. When I discovered the agency fee of $103 I called and requested a refund after signing 3 days later, her manager told me they would refund me the $272 but not the agency fee. I was ****** because I would never knowingly agree to pay an agent $103 to assist me with auto insurance. I was talked to as if I was the deceptive party. I had a long standing relationship with ****. I trusted them and have decided never to do business with again. She also had a duplicate policy made without my consent. I questioned that and once again was treated with disrespect. Because of agent ******************************* I will never do business with **** again.

I received a letter from ADOT stating that my registration was going to be suspended if proof of insurance was not received by April 24, 2024 and that a ***** reinstatement fee will be required if received after that date. It is the insurance company's responsibility to send this in to DMV from my understanding. I called Amax to let them know on April 10, 2024 the day after I received the letter. Needless to say DMV did not get the proof of Insurance and I was pulled over 2 days ago. I called Amax again and was told that proof was sent on April 22, 2024. I asked them to send me a copy of the confirmation of which stated in bold red letters that the information could not be submitted and to contact ADOT of which they chose to ignore. So now a ***** reinstatement fee is due and I am having trouble getting someone from **** who are responsible to speak with me.

1 star is too good for the experience I had here. I was lied to about other insurance rates, lied to about quotes online no longer valid when you go in person, lied to about needing to cancel existing policy to add newer vehicle and then AFTER the agent created an entire new policy with a different agency, I get texts and email that my new policy was cancelled/expired due to non signature of documents...after signing paperwork and putting the down payment!!! She also gave me a super inflated rate of over $250.50 over what I got at a competitor she said was too high prior to creating a new policy. She also stated that my policy would increase adding the newer vehicle for full coverage on the current policy even if I removed a vehicle!!! I have no tickets, no accidents, no insurance lapses, no late payment issues, im middle aged with a ECO fuel efficient hatchback and she tried to tell me my insurance was going to be $630 dollars monthly!!! I'm out $376.50 and another $126.50 for having to go get another policy after they sent me the Cancel/Expired notification due to non signature of documents before March 1, 2024! I signed and paid on Feb.24, 2024...a week in advance but they still sent me the Expired insurance notice and took my money and now Im out $500 bcz they did this.****************

SCAM AVOID ************ utilizes deceptive business practices to manipulate and take advantage of its customers. After my coverage was cancelled without my knowledge for unsupported and frivolous reasons, I was offered a more expensive rate and charged $500.Unprofessional and predatory.

My initial interaction with the company was promising, yet when it came to the aspect of billing and the monthly financial commitment, a notable lack of transparency became apparent, prompting me to inquire further. In my extensive experience, I have rarely encountered an organization that refrains from disclosing the precise monthly financial obligations for insurance. It is with discretion and utmost professionalism that I mention the agent I interacted with, *****, with the intention of advocating for enhanced transparency in customer transactions. In the spirit of good customer service, I strongly believe that full disclosure of all fees associated with a contractual agreement is paramount. Such transparency ensures that customers are well-informed, allowing them to make educated decisions. Regrettably, the prolonged and circuitous nature of my experience has left me dissatisfied with the level of service received. Despite my reservations, I acknowledge that I am bound by this commitment until April. In conclusion, I would like to highlight an observation: the option of direct billing, though available, was not presented to me proactively. I had to seek this option, and I subsequently discovered that direct billing is a more cost-effective solution. While I comprehend the financial considerations involved, I believe it is imperative to prioritize the disclosure of this information from the outset, empowering the customer to make an informed choice. In the pursuit of professionalism and customer satisfaction, I encourage a reconsideration of these practices.
