Greatbuilt replaced our roof 7 years ago. The roofing blew off during a wind gust 2 days ago. The tiles are under a 25 yr warranty with Greatbuilt Roofing. The company phone number doesnt work and the website has been taken down. We cannot reach anyone to get roof repaired.Initial Complaint

The Company’s owner cancelled their contract with us March 29, 2021 one week after they were to begin demo on siding and a patio. We paid no money to the business. However, after getting confirmation they were on schedule, we paid $400 to remove the gutters on 3/19. On 3/22, I received a text from the Company representative that “my workers are not responding…they are on a job in the valley. I am trying to find another (crew). It might be delayed a day or two.” On March 25th, the Company’s owner said the Partner was no longer working there and he would try to honor the contract. On March 29, 2021, the company’s owner called and said they could not honor the contract “because we don’t do siding work.” As a result, we paid Top Notch Gutters another $400 to reinstall the gutters, and the window installation had to be reconfigured and delayed by 3 weeks. We are asking for $800 reimbursement for gutter. We sent email to ***** ********* requesting reimbursement on 3/29 with no response.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: We agree that Great Built did not do the work of removing the gutters nor did we pay Great Built to remove the gutters. The issue is that Great Built Roofing, while we were still under contract, and whose representative **** ********, said for us to move forward with having the gutters removed in order for Great Built Roofing to begin the demo 3 days later. Then, Great Built did not honor their contract, pulled out a week after demo work was to begin knowing we had already incurred costs based on their word they would start the work. Gutters remained on the lawn and had to be re-installed. We incurred $800 for no reason because Great Built Roofing could not honor their contract to do the demo and replace siding.
