**************** ********************** DBA Guillen Roofing installed a complete roof on my house *********************************************************************************** on 7/20/2022 without a city permit which was part of my contract and paid in full upon completion for a total of $12,506.82 ($8,906.82 on 7/20/22 and $3,600 on 7/27/2022 Ck#****). On 10/25/2022, ************** ****************** Department (Agent *****************) stopped by to give me a notice that no city permit was obtained on the new roof. I spoke with Mr. ********************** on such a date and was assured that it was a mistake and would look into it. He spoke with ***************** that he was going to handle prompt payment (as per my conversation with *****************). Once again, I trusted Mr. ********************** to follow through with his payment of such a permit since it was paid on the contract. On 1/30/23 a second notice was placed on my door by the ********************** *********** Services Department (Agent *******************************), I reached out to Mr. ********************** (who did not return my call) via phone and text message (he stated again that he was at the doctor) of the second notice with the intent to disconnect AEP services if a permit was not obtained. As Mr. ********************** continues to do business as usual all over **************, my permit remains unresolved and unpaid in the amount of $723.15. The contract needs to be honored and receipt of such a permit needs to be rendered to me for my records.Business response

I and m neighbor hired Guillen Roofing to do our fence on March24, 2021. On August 15 i sent him a picture with a message stating this fence door is not closing and thought we agreed to have a rolling wheel at the bottom of fence door. He replied I can go by Friday and fix it and do some adjustments. We are now 2Dec2021 and he was to be here today at 10 am. I have called him and text him no response. I just need this fixed the door slams and makes a loud noise with the wind. We live at the Lakes and wind is very high in this area. Please I just need him to send someone to fix this issue as soon as possible. Thank you kindly. ***** San ******Business response

On Wed dec 8 I was rush to Bay area hospital with a heart attack I had scheduled to see Mrs ***** on Thursday but ended in hospital by ambulance got released but can work till doctor *********** me a released hopefully jan 12

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Also, Mr. ********************** himself does not need to come by to do the work himself he does have employees that work for him. Please just someone to fix this.
