      Today, August 23, 2023 I went to TC Auto Service to get a refund for the fuel pump they installed in my 2010 ******* Sonata on October 20, 2022. I was told by the front desk person that they could not refund me for the fuel pump because I did not bring it to them to do the warranty work. I told them they were not open this weekend when the car stopped working and I had to two it to ********* to get it repaired right away because it is the only vehicle for transportation my wife and I have. I said I do not want refund for the labor charge but for the pump I had brought in to them that they installed and gave a 36 month warranty on. They refused to give me a refund or credit for future work or anything.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Please note that I met with ***************** of TC Auto Service on Monday, October 2, 2023, and he returned the bad fuel pump from my ******* Sonata to the supplier and was reimbursed for it.

      ***************** has cut me a check and put it in the mail to me in order to reimburse me for my cost of subject fuel pump.  I believe this settles the matter and you should not be suspending the BBB accreditation of TC Auto Service.

      I took the car to TC Auto Service because it was leaking oil. But I wasnt sure where it was coming from. So, I left it there, and picked it up on March 18, 2022, and the total amount was $354.68. They removed and replaced the power steering pressure switch. Then, the oil leakage continued. But I couldnt take it in, due to my husbands hospital stays, doctor ************* physical therapy etc. Therefore, I waited until June 18, 2022, and took it back, with the same problem.But I was told that it was something else. Also told me that since I hadnt taken it sooner, that it had probably caused other problems. I believe, the amount to fix it would be $807.00 estimate to fix it again. So, my husband said no it was too much, so we took to another place ti be fixed. The other place ************* Exxon. They fixed the car and replaced the power steering pump and pressure hose and switch, along with the auto parts and labor. Which was the same thing that TC Auto had fixed , in March, but said it was something else. The business, TC Auto warranty is ****** miles or 35 months. But wouldnt fix my car 2007 ******* just saying that it was something else. My point here is from March 18, 2022to June 22, 2022 still has plenty of warranty, only three months. It took me a while to take it back because of our health issues and this is the only vehicle we own. The nature of the dispute includes, is paying for the power steering pressure switch twice, two different auto shops. We thought it was covered under the warranty but, I was told it was something else, not the same thing that they fixes before, which was the power steering switch. Were on a fixed ******* **** husband is disabled with many health issues. We dont have the money to be paying for the same auto issues twice, when its supposed to be under warranty. Finally, *** asked to speak with the owner, but they wont give me a name or his personal email. They just say send it to email on the card.
