I, a woman, brought a 2008 Saturn Sky convertible sports car to this establishment on 3/17/23 for replacement of right rear brake light. Work done without incident or damage. Charged 3/18/23 $41.03.Returned car for replacement of left rear brake light 3/28/23. Work done. Left tail light cover is damaged. Far right corner is broken off due to stress of attempt to pry off. Cover has stress crack in lens close to far right corner due to stress of attempt to pry off. Center bumper has paint scratches due to tool used to attempt to pry off. Far right corner has paint gouges due to tool used to attempt to pry off. Cover is loose due to attempt to pry off.Returned to speak with **** regarding damage. **** stated was not caused by shop workers. Asked **** to order replacement parts. Phone call received following Wednesday, **** stated parts unavailable, car discontinued, "just don't worry about it."There is no credit card charge for the second light repair.Car taken to body shop for repair estimate. ********************************************* estimated $450 for replacement left rear light assembly part and $750 for paint, labor, and misc parts. At this time the rear light assembly is no longer available. Unless I purchase a second Sky or take chances on ***** the part damage can no longer be repaired, only the paint damage.Pilgers damaged my property. When I calmly and reasonably returned with the complaint, it was dismissed. This car was, save a left side door ding, in perfect shape prior to this incident. All head and rear lamps were original. This complaint was filed months after the fact due to family illness which took precedence over personal disputes. This incident made an already extremely difficult time period worse.My male coworkers bring giant new/newer trucks to this establishment without incident and report stellar service.Business response
