Terrible Service Experience at the ******************* in Town I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at Elder service center, the only service center available in our city. My recent experience there has been nothing short of a nightmare.I initially took my car to this place for a routine checkup. However, to my dismay, they not only failed to address the issues I had pointed out but also managed to cause additional damage to my vehicle. I have attempted to have this issue rectified on more than four occasions, yet each time, the problem remains unresolved. One particularly frustrating instance involved leaving my car at the service center for more than four days. Not only did they fail to provide me with a temporary replacement vehicle, but when I finally received one, it was not only dirty but also an outdated model that was in no way comparable to or even remotely similar to my own car. This whole ordeal has been the single worst service experience I have encountered to date. It is disheartening to realize that Elder service center is the sole service provider in our city, leaving me with no alternative options. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and apparent disregard for customer satisfaction have left me thoroughly disappointed.I urge anyone considering using this service to think twice before entrusting their vehicle to them. The subpar service, lack of professionalism, and unwillingness to address and rectify their mistakes have left me utterly frustrated. I hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale to others and that improvements are made to prevent anyone else from having to endure such an agonizing experience.

I absolutely love Elder Mitsubishi. My motor gave out on my other car. I didn't have anything to put down for another car. Elder Mitsubishi spent hours exhausting different options on where to get funds to help me with 0 down getting my other car towed away at no charge I drove off in a brand new car.

I had brought my **** Mitsubishi Montero Sport into this dealer to check a severe oil leak I had and afterwards I was told I needed a new motor. I paid over $4k to get a junkyard motor put in. The motor has dented valve covers, missing a piece of the timing belt cover I had to purchase myself, dented in oil pan, this motor looks in rougher shape than my original motor, and I do not believe that I received the service I paid so much for having this busted up motor put in my vehicle. Not long after on my way back home from picking up my infant son, my truck broke down on the side of the highway nowhere close to my home, and had to have a friend drive almost an hour to pick us up. After they supposedly fixed the issue I got a call to come pick up my truck, but as soon as I got to dealer, I seen there was something off with the hood on it and my drivers running board, they tried to blame it on the tow truck saying it came in that way, and then after told me it was the technician that worked on it drove it and the hood came slamming up and destroyed the hood along with my drivers side wiper arm. My running board bracket is still damaged and they never even offered to fix it. Now my motor is leaking oil through the spark plug holes, I called to schedule to drop truck off and told them I need to have a loaner in order for me to run my errands including taking my son to doctors, they told me ok, I called day before to make sure, and they told me we do not have a loaner to give you. My truck is still damaged, not running right, leaking, and I feel like I have been robbed!

Sorry you are not happy with our service. Unfortunately the only viable option for a 19 yr old Montero Sport with a bad engine is a used engine. We source the best ones we can find, but at times there can be issues. We also apologize about the issue with your hood. To my knowledge it has been fully repaired. It sounds like you have a valve cover leak, which we will, of course, cover under warranty. Please stay in contact with our service advisor if you are needing a loaner. Most dealerships don't offer those, but we're happy that we still have them available.

The hood and wiper were repaired, correct. My drivers side running bracket is still bent from a mechanic not setting the lift up properly, so the front part of it is bent up, and you can see marks from it underneath. I do work, service department does know I have a child I have to drive to *********** on days, and I would need to have a loaner or rental while you repair the motor you have installed in my vehicle so I can do these things!

I would not recommend this place to anyone if they asked me. I made an appt to go look at cars and to see if I qualified. This place was recommended to me. I went in because I needed to replace my SUV that got into an accident a few weeks prior. **** was the first person I delt with and the only one who was honest with me and wasnt trying to push me into buying a car I didn't want We talked about my situation and he understood. He knew what I was looking for and was honest with me about how I probably wouldnt be able to get into it with out a down payment. I was in the process of working on getting money for one. In the mean time we test drove a few cars ( 5 or 6 I believe in total) First car I would have bought but it sold. Second car I Didnt really want but it would have been ok and **** suggested I take it for a day to try out. After thinking about it I agreed but that car sold. Onto the next car. Would have got that but payments were to high. Since I had not secured the money yet for a down payment I said I would return. **** agreed and I left. A few moments later he calls me and tells me to come back that the manager opened up more car options for me. I went back to give them another chance. This is when things got worse and just dragged on. Again they tried to sell me cars I didnt not want. Then they tried to guilt me into buying a car. At one point they said they would call the person I was trying to get the down payment from to get a quick answer for me. Told them it wouldnt work. Guess my words didn't mean anything to them. Everytime I meet a new person they asked me what I wanted and again I told them. 6 hours later they said they found a car with what I wanted but the payment was way to high. The guy at one point asked me why I couldnt afford the payments because I made enough money. I told him I had other bills to pay and I would like to actually eat. I told him if he could get me into that car with a better payment then yes I would take it. Off he went to start the paperwork. Awhile later one of the other guys came back saying we cant sell you that car but we have this one. It was newer, lower milage and cheaper payment so I said yes. So again off they went. Signed all the paperwork but didn't leave with the car because it was raining and the detailing guys went home. Was told to pick up my car in the morning. I made arrangements and was dropped off at the dealership in the morning to only find out that they messed up on my finance paperwork and it had to be redone. The error in the first set of finance paperwork worked out in my favor and I assumed the error was because we changed the car at the last min. Waited about an hour more just to be told I can not have the car because they needed to replace the windshield because it was cracked all the way across so now I would have a loner car until it was fixed maybe a week. Two days later I got a call to pick the car up as it was done. Finally get the car I agreed to buy and drove it for a few days and then got a phone call saying my car needed to be inspected and can I bring it in now. I was working so I said it would have to wait until Saturday and I will be there when they opened. Today is Saturday and when I arrived at the service section the guy had no clue why I was there and said that is normally done before hand. He said I will go check. A few moments later he said I need to go to the office to sign more paperwork. I was so confused at this moment. I go inside and that is when I am told they can not keep me in that car as the bank said no. Gave me some explanation about how the dealership and the bank figure things out different. So now I am standing at the dealership with no car, my stuff locked inside the car I drove there and my youngest kid with me. I am very angry at this moment and was told I need a cosigner. I didnt have one. Told them that before. Offered to put a down payment on the car to bring down the payment and was told the bank said no. Was getting more upset by the minute. They then tried to sell me a car that I didn't want to make up for all of this. Even brought it around for a test drive and when I told the guy no because my kids car seat is in the other car and I need it. He said oh we will just drive in the parking lot. That was it I was done. Obviously they only care about selling a car and not a child's safety. I tell the guy I want my stuff out of the car now. He goes and gets someone else and I tell him the same. They send him back out as a messenger and I tell him nope I am done. Then the ** comes out and tells me he can keep me in the car now he just has to make a phone call to his friend at the bank. Well then the other guy comes out and says its done I can have the car but I need to sign new paperwork. I ask why he replies its thru a different bank. He tells me the ** called the owner and got the ok. Now I am even more ****** because I just waisted another 3 hours to get something that could have been done when I first got there! All this was to much and I decided to walk away. To much going back and forth, not listening to me, risking the safety of my child and the lie to get me there. When I asked my friend to come pick me up who is a para legal she wanted to make sure I got some things I needed so I could make sure I wasn't liable for anything. She introduced herself and said she worked at a law firm, all she asked was for everyone name that I was in contact with and paperwork stating that I wasn't liable for any restocking fees or the contract that I signed and then it needed to be notarized. The floor manager got the DM. She told him the same thing. That is when his attitude changed and was telling her that he came in on his day off to do this and that he didn't need to do anything. Then he asked if she was a lawyer and she said no that's not what I said and that's when he said he Didnt have to do what he did and just take the car. I said I agree to that I just want something in writing and notarized saying I am not liable for anything. Was told I could not get that until I returned the second key that was back home at my residence since I didn't realize I was surrendering the car. I returned home to retrieve the key and return it to the dealership. They had a paper waiting for me to sign saying I was not liable for anything and it was notarized right in front of me. So here I am with no car again and a week of my time wasted that I could have spent getting a car somewhere else.

**************, This is a very confusing review and situation. Just to let you know, we specialize in helping people in difficult situations get a nicer, newer vehicle and we are able to do it all the time, hundreds of times per month in fact. All our positive reviews online attest to this. Here is how we see it. We had vehicle options for you but as you point out they were selling quickly. But we did find a vehicle that seemed to work for you and we got you in that vehicle. Unfortunately, when the lender verified employment, something did not check out and we had to restructure the deal based on the new information and use a different lender. We made this work and we lowered the vehicle price as well as lowering your payment in the process. We had this ready to go for you, but you brought a friend who introduced themselves as "Your Lawyer" and they demanded we take an additional $5,000 off the price. We could not do this and declined to. So you decided to not purchase the vehicle. We were confused as to why, but ultimately it was your decision to purchase or not. We are sorry for any aggravation this caused, but please reach out if there is anything else we can do in the future.

My complaint is not against the customer service, as it was great, my complaint is that the needs that I expressed to the sales rep was not taken fully into consideration. When I sat at her desk to explain that I have a family of 8 she instantly said ok lets get you approved for a 2022 outlander she mentioned also purchasing one for her family because she has a big family as well. We went for a test drive but the seats in the third row were down so I didnt get to see that this suv was really a 7 seater. When I got home and put my family in the suv is when I realized that My family of 8 does not fit. So I called the next morning to see if I can return. ****** took my call and also great customer skills, Said that I should come in to take a look since they had plenty others that I could exchange. I went to look and there was 2 large suv that they could get me approved but had to put an additional 5k down on top on the 3k I just put down for the outlander. Now I am stuck with a 30,000$ Suv that still requires my husband and I to drive 2 vehicles to get to where we need to go. Otherwise we will have one of our children with no seat belt. The whole point of turning in my Mirage was because we were tired of taking 2 cars everywhere we needed to go. Sales reps should be required to lift any seats that *** be down so the buyer can get a even better idea on the size the car really is before signing a contract. I also shouldve asked to put the seats up to get a better look but I never imagined that after telling her that I have a family of 8 that I would even be told lets get you approved for a 7 seater Elder Mitsubishi is where me and a lot of family members go to purchase vehicles for years and I am really hoping to get some help with my issue. Writing a review is never an option for me as I am a business owner myself, I have exhausted all efforts and hoping to get some help. I am back to the same situation I was in when I had my mirage.

Hi there, Thank you so much for your review. I apologize your experience was not satisfactory. It seems there was some miscommunication on your needs with our sales consultant. We are addressing that with her. I also understand we are looking into what we can do to switch you to an 8 passenger SUV. Unfortunately 8 passenger options are limited and can be more costly than an Outlander. I want you to know that we will do everything we can to try to get you an 8 passenger SUV that fits your budget.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Every step of the way the process of dealing with this company has involved being misled and given misinformation. Upon arriving at their location (which has virtually no parking space) we were presented with a different vehicle than the one we had scheduled to test drive and were not told that it was a different one. We only found out when the price was much higher than what we were expecting for a 10-year-old vehicle. When presented with the correct vehicle it was not in the condition shown on the website.During the paperwork, I expressed a concern about what to do if the temporary license plates expire before my official ones arrive. I was essentially told not to worry about it, my concerns were waved off. After an agreement to have a non-function part of the truck repaired (the tailgate would not close despite the truck being listed as not suffering any major issues) and to have the truck delivered to our home we left thinking that would hopefully be the end of the issues.A few days later the truck is finally delivered, and it is appreciated that they did so. I asked the person delivering it where the temporary license plate was and he informed me that none was sent. It took two days and as many calls to get a temporary license plate emailed to me. During this interaction, I repeated my concern about the license plate not arriving before the temporary tags expired.Over the next few weeks, I called periodically, checking in to see if my plates had arrived. I had asked for them to be mailed to us but as we got closer and closer to the date my temporary plates would expire I started to get more and more concerned. With only a week to go before my plates expired I decided it was time to make it understood that my concerns were quite serious. After repeated calls, I was told on the 12th that the plates had been mailed and would be there in two days. I was livid because during one of the numerous calls I made during this period I made it clear I no longer wanted the plates mailed and would make the three-hour drive to pick them up.Two days later and the plates had not arrived but I had the tracking number they texted me on the 12th when I called them about it, this is where I noticed the lies. On the 12th I was told the plates had been mailed on the 8th, but when I looked up the tracking number on **** the last update on them was on the 6th, two days before I am told they were mailed. My temporary plates expire tomorrow; I called today in an attempt to get a temporary license extension so I could continue driving my vehicle. During the conversation, it was mentioned to me that the plates had been mailed on the 11th, not the 8th like I had been told beforehand, and unlike what the **** tracking number I was given said. I was then informed that since my metal plates had been issued they would not issue a new temporary license plate or extend my current temporary license plates. So now I wash my hands of this company, I am going to the *** and ********** tomorrow while I can still legally drive my truck and see if they can give me license plates or extend my temporary license plates until the metal ones arrive. I had surgery a few weeks ago and need to make regular visits to my doctor to check up on my recovery, I have classes starting up next week and need to be able to drive to campus. Now I am not sure if I am even going to be able to go to the grocery store.Do not buy a vehicle from here, and do not trust them.

*****************, We are sorry you feel misled and didn't have a great experience with us. We certainly strive to be transparent and honest in everything we do. In this case, as you mention, we delivered the truck to you in *********** and our Sales Consultant forgot to install the temp tag on the vehicle. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Fortunately we were able to email you one immediately the next day when you let us know about this. As far as the metal license plates, we mailed them to you via **** on 7/30. I apologize as there seemed to have been some confusion as to when they were mailed. But per the tracking information, they were definitely sent on 7/30. Our notes show that you had requested them to be mailed since you live in ***********. It seems your request to pick them up was received after they were already sent out. I apologize for any miscommunication on this. Also it now appears that **** has lost them and we do not know when or if they will be found. So at this point the only thing that can be done is for you to go to the **** report the plates lost and they will give you replacement plates. Unfortunately since the title has been transferred to you, the *** will not let us do this for you or issue any more temporary tags. That's just what the law is. Otherwise we would do anything to help in an unfortunate situation such as this. -***** Elder

I dont just feel misled, I was misled. As I said we were presented with a vehicle other than the one we wanted to drive and was not told it was a different, more expensive model. You did not immediately email me the temp tag, I had to contact yall and ask to have what I needed to drive my vehicle. If the plates were mailed on 7/30 why was I given different information multiple times and not told the tracking number until over a week later? I am very well aware that **** lost them, they have since found them and I look forward to seeing just what was placed on the shipping label. Even if **** hadnt found them though I fixed this by going to the ********** and requesting that new plates be issued to me, something that the people who were too busy telling me misleading information could of easily told me and spared me a good deal of anxiety and frustration. Nothing you can say or do will be capable of undoing what has happened, and you do not have anything to offer me that would make this better. I have my truck, I have my license plates, I do not need you.

I am retired military living in ******* **. So I have an originally owned **** Mitsubishi Montero Sport in which I spent quite a bit of money for service on, $1200.00 last year and $3200.00 this year. I ended up replacing the motor as advised by *****, the Service Manager. ***** gave me a price for the engine replacement and although it was much more, only charged me what he quoted....Who does that? I want to say I have been back there 5 times now since initial repair last year for some adjustments, but have to say that they are very understanding, very helpful and STAND by their word on price and warranty implied. This is my daughters car and with the recent spike in Used Car prices, I had no better option but to repair it. I will say that as long as they stand by their work as they do, I wouldn't go anywhere else, even with the 110 mile round trip! I know you don't want to hear that ******, lol! ****** was the one that had to deal with me most of the time and he is very understanding and will go that extra mile for you. *****, the service repairer always explained everything he did and is also very courteous. I've been doing research on a specific vehicle for months, both on the car and the dealerships near me. They were advertising $4,500 dealer cash on any new mitsubishi. I also received an email giving me a $35 gas voucher for taking a test drive. Once we travel an hour to get there, they can't give me the voucher because of computer problems. They said they would email it to me...right. Almost two weeks later I get a phone message stating they wanted me to call back and provide info to get the voucher...They have a copy of my License, my tel and my email, they just wanted me to call back and waste my time. About the $4,500 the guy tells me they don't offer it on the new outlanders. I reminded him that the add has no such restriction.....he didn't give any further explanations. I don't recommend you waste your time with this dealership......ever.

Sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We try to be clear with everyone that the $4500 dealer cash only applies to 2021 models and not the 2022 Outlander. That is noted in the disclaimer on all our ads. As far as the $35 gift card, that is directly from Mitsubishi and we have to input your nine digit code to get it redeemed. Unfortunately the day you came in, the site was not functioning. We tried to call you later to get the code from you and do the redemption, but as you state above, you never returned our call. Please let us know if we can help in any way in the future.
