IBEX just closed the Sale of our Business (10/1/22), and we could not be happier. This is the SECOND business sold with IXEX assistance. Their expertise was invaluable, and they created real economic value ******* the negotiation process. We have bought and sold several businesses - and IBEX is hands down the best at their craft. We plan on using them again! I will never buy or sell a business without their guidance.

This is a complaint against International Business Exchange Corp (IBECTX) located in **********, *****. An IBECTX salesman visited our BKW office around 2/11/13 requesting they put our Sand Springs Pipeline up for sale. A history and description of the pipeline was provided and the salesman said no problem, they had a large list of clients and would sell the system. The salesman was very convincing and emphasized the BBB as verification that IBECTX was honorable, he referred to the BBB several times. The IBECTX required a $9,500 down payment, which we paid. Since that time, IBECTX has not provided one client with any interest or an offer for the pipeline. During the last conversation, an IBECTX representative indicated that the pipeline was worthless but it is the same pipeline that the salesman said he could sell without a problem. As a result of this, BKW has come to the conclusion that IBECTX runs a con operation with a slick salesman and office staff trained to double talk the clients.

************,I apologize that you had a disappointing experience. You engagement with IBEX expired in 2014, several years before I purchased the company, but I will attempt to address what happened. After engaging us, we performed all of our marketing efforts to identify potential buyers. Our records show that we introduced 19 buyers over the first eight months of the engagement. Buyer site visits revealed damages to the pipeline system that undermined their interest and changed the valuation profile. We had those conversations with you. Additionally, we learned that you were marketing the company separately, in violation of our agreement, and was attempting to negotiate a deal with a separate buyer. These factors make it difficult to provide you a successful outcome. However, we used all of our efforts to market your business throughout the contract.
