Mr **** was hired by me, ****** ***** yo replace my roof at **** **** Dr Amarillo TX 79118 before I closed on my home. He received 1 check of $8691.91 before the roof was completed on April 29, 2023. I closed on my home May 2 2023 and an additional $12,133.97 was paid to him from my closing. Before the roof was replaced Mr **** stated he would take care of all the factors through my insurance and that my entire roof was approved through my insurance to get replaced. He stated I would get reimbursed directly from my insurance (1 week after I closed) what I paid him at closing $12133.97. Today is June 8 2023 and my insurance has not approved the roof nor has he sent in any supporting documents to my insurance. He also NEVER provided me with any receipt.Business response

**** Endeavors was hired my Mrs. ***** to help her with her insurance claim and roof. When LE was first on the property Mrs. ***** had another roofing contractor on the property. LE representative (Jonny ****) spoke to Mrs ***** about stepping on toes of another contractor. LE was advised "she didn't know who he was". Mrs. ***** filed a claim, when the adjuster went out to the property, LE representative noticed the chalk marks not the roof were only for a repair not a full replacement. Mrs. ***** was contacted immediately and notified of the insurance claim only being a repair not a replacement. Mrs. ***** came into a verbal agreement with LE, LE then began to work with **** the insurance adjuster for Mrs. *****, after several days and into 2 weeks of calls back and forth the roof was finally approved for a total replacement due to the work LE put in. So the claim went from being denied to being paid in full for a replacement. At this point Mrs. ***** informed LE representative "her husband would be putting the roof on & LE was no longer needed". LE understood the situation and stopped for working for Mrs. *****. A week later Mrs. ***** contacted LE & wanted LE to put the roof on as her husband was not insured, bonded or licensed. LE agreed to do the roof even after Mrs. ***** backed out of the first deal-it was later discovered Mrs. ***** had filed a previous claim on the roof, LE immediately started working on the supplements of items missed. LE worked up the total roof supplements and other missed items. The supplements were submitted to **** the adjuster there were 10 items total missed & depreciation totaling $13,247.23, unfortunately there was an issue with the file being to big and not going through. I explained this to Mrs. ***** several times. After talking to a representative in the claims department since **** wasn't available we were able to get the file through. During the review of the file sent over for Mrs. ***** it was also discovered Mrs. ***** had pocketed the insurance money on the previous claim and did not perform the repairs. After all was said and done i explained to Mrs. ***** the balance was still due as the work had to be performed for her to sell her home. A full invoice was sent to title as the work was performed as agreed & a final invoice was sent to insurance. Unfortunately for Mrs. *****, she hurt herself significantly by pocketing the money on the last claim and not repairing the roof years ago, this affected the new claim as **** advised after their investigation the insurance carrier would not be able to pay for the same damages a second time due to the "Law of Indemnity". LE was able to turn a denied claim into a full roof replacement, put the roof on so Mrs. ***** could close on her home, sent off the final invoice for final payment. LE has kept up every side agreed upon, again unfortunately since Mrs. ***** pocketed the insurance money previously it had a negative impact on this claim, so the anticipated supplements were not paid as initially thought due to the investigation into the her previous claim. Mrs. ***** was never threatened in anyway, she was asked to remove her negative remarks as they were untrue and hurting possible business in the future.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
Mr **** knew about the previous claim and still guaranteed services and the reimbursement. And I've yet to receive approval from my insurance. He is shady and does threaten. And my husband has nothing to do with this claim unless Mr **** is holding that against me and is refusing to hold up to his word?
I record all my incoming calls and have where he was disrespectful and threatened me.
I'm done dealing with this "man" "business owner".
God is amazing and does great things!

Approximate time frame May 22 to 10-31-22, we file insurance claim with ********, they only paid for interior damage, family member said Johnny **** DBA as **** Endeavors, LLC might be able to help. Johnny came to do an inspection and said our roof and decking, plus other repairs needed to be replaced and hired us a private inspector, ********s private inspector and ours reviewed and sent ******** an Appraisal Award Letter with estimate of $99,071.83, ******** issued us a check for $55,815.40. Since we were hiring **** to contract all the work we gave him the full amount to start repairs. During roof removal, **** said that City Inspector came by on Saturday and said decking did not have to be removed. I questioned .him and said we have the money from insurance and his reply was that he would have to send the money back to ********. That following Monday I contacted another roofer to give us estimate of the roof that **** had installed and their high estimate was $21,096.89. To meet City Code the shingles would need to be removed, install decking, top grade shingles per our claim, etc., City Code Dept. said **** was not registered with them. I tried numerous times to contact **** (we wanted our money back or for him to redo and complete the job per the claim) no response from him.I contacted ******** to let them know the situation and they said that **** had sent them a Final Invoice that work had been completed per claim and for them to release the balance of $40,919,29 to him and that he had CC us the notice, which he did not. Had I not contacted ******** they would have released the final check and **** would have the full claim $99071.83 and we would have a possible uninsurable roof. We have talked to a couple of Attorneys about civil suite but have not persued charges at this time. **** was indicted 10-19-16 for Theft of Property, a felony, in ****** County, We have documentation on all the above and this is just an outline of circumstances we haveBusiness response

All work was completed according to insurance proceeds. There was exactly 32.33 sf of decking approved per the appraisal report by ********. This is exactly the amount of decking that was replaced on the roof and a cricket was built to divert water around the chimney. A final invoice was sent per request of The ****** family to get work done on the interior of the home. Per Texas state insurance guidelines the check can only be sent to the insured not a contractor. There was never a check being sent directly to me. During the installation of the roof, I had to pull my laborers off the job site due to interference from the ****** family. Laborers were sent back to finish up the job the next day. I was contacted by 2 other roofing companies that the ****** family was trying to say I “took their money” I explained the situation again to the appraiser, ******** & the ****** family. A check was collected to complete the work according to the insurance appraisal. The $55,815.40 check paid for material, labor, time & effort (total claim approximately 6 months), 2 emergency repairs, 4 additional meetings with ******** including photo reports, weather reports, square testing, adjuster meetings, appraisals, satellite measurements. All of this was explained to the ****** family in May. Per the ****** family “we have had several roofers out who can’t complete this process can you help? All we want is a new roof, if you can help us Jonny the job is yours as well as all insurance money. We don’t want to pocket any money we just want the wood roof gone and a shingle roof”
This is exactly what happened with the job, after the fact the ****** family wanted new flooring, paint all rooms, move a wall, redo the entire kitchen. I explained any left over money from insurance was theirs to do with it what they wished as I was paid in full and roof was completed. End of job.

On July 7, 2021 Luna endeavors repaired and replaced my roof at my home. I paid Mr. **** money from the insurance company to repair my roof. In April of this year I contacted him to let him know that the shingles were lifting and he said that he would have to get back to me because there had been a hail storm in the area and he was working on other houses, and I agreed to let for him to repair the current hailstorm losses! Since May June July August and now September 2022 I can no longer get in touch with Mr. **** to repair my roof, he stated to me that the last time we spoke in April that the shingles on my roof were lifting because of a manufactures defect and he would have someone come and fix it. The one time he sent employees over to look at my roof they spoke with me through the doorbell and did not get on the roof to inspect the damage that has incurred. As of now September 27, 2022 Mr. **** will no longer take my calls my emails or my text messages he has completely ghosted me on this issue. I would like resolution and I would like my roof repaired from the manufactures defect. The final invoice that he sent me it states that there is a workmanship and Warranty for materials on my roof . His State Id is ********* SOS or COA File Number: ********** Thank You, ******* ***********
