      ******* repaired the foundation on my manufactured home. The crew was courteous. They took the time to explain everything to me so I didn't have to worry. All my doors work and lock again, and I couldn't be happier!This is a great company.

      Absolutely the worse company to deal with. We had our foundation worked on 2 years ago. When we noticed that our house was shifting again and we had bigger cracks in the walls than before, we called them out because we have a warranty with them. *** came out and told us it was a plumbing issue. We had a static pressure done on our house and it wasn't the plumbing, we called him back and he still refused to help us. Telling us that we needed to get an engineer out to tell them how to fix the issue. Now that another company has dug up the same areas from before, we have discovered that the job wasn't done correctly at all. There are no piers pressed down below ground level to bed rock. Only one pier was pressed correctly out of 8 on our house and this was the only one that his engineer probably seen with his own eyes and signed off on. Called ******* Foundation to let them know what was found and all he did was argue with me about what was done. Not taking any ownership that the job was not done correctly. We are really upset about our home and instead of helping us he let the situation escalate because we spent a lot of money for them to do their job correctly and it's upsetting for a company to not understand that sometimes the people you hire don't actually do their jobs right in the first place and do anything to make it right. Stop blaming the Homeowners and make it right. Don't be a jerk to your customers who are upset and just want their money back for a job your team didn't perform correctly. We have pictures from the holes dug and you can clearly see there are no piers in the ground below and the ones above the blocks were easily dug out.

      It is important to note that throughout our dealings with Mr. *******, he was verbally abusive, screaming and cursing at Allens Foundation Solutions staff. It was never alleged in his complaint that we have been unresponsive, only that he is not satisfied. Allens Foundation completed a project for Mr. ******* in October 2018. 14 piers were installed in the the rear of the home, which was determined to be the affected area at the time. The project was completed in a timely manner with a City of New Braunfels permit pulled and closed. To pull a permit, there must be an Engineer of Record that performs inspections and provides: a Letter of Inspection and a Completion Report at the end of a project which certifies that the work was completed properly. This paperwork must be filed with the city to close the permit. This order of operations was followed. The following is a timeline of our interactions with Mr. *******: In the summer of 2019, Mr. ******* called to voice a concern that the house was again having issues. Because the area of concern was an interior powder room more than 20 from where the foundation repairs were made, it was recommended that a Hydrostatic Test be performed to see if there might be a plumbing leak affecting the foundation. According to the information provided from Mr. *******, no leak was found. No further contact was made by Mr. ******* at that time. In July 2020 Allens Foundation had another appointment with Mr. *******. Again, because the area of concern was nowhere near where the foundation repair was performed, Allens Foundation took additional zip level readings and determined that the front of the home was settling. It was recommended to install additional piers. Mr. ******* was not happy with this recommendation, so an additional recommendation was made for him to consult with a Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer would provide an unbiased evaluation by a third party. Again, no further contact was made by Mr. ******* at that time. We did not hear back from Mr. ******* until November 22,2021. The day he called, he was already having foundation work done by another company. He let us know that the other company had already dug up all your piers. Allens, Foundation was not provided the opportunity to inspect and test our piers as per our warranty and provide any necessary adjustments. Mr. ******** home clearly required more work. This is evidenced by the fact that the new company he hired installed piers in areas previously not repaired by Allens. Our original contract for 14 piers only addressed the scope of work that was necessary at the time. Areas that are not repaired by Allens are not covered under our warranty. How Mr. ******* chose to accomplish the additional needed repairs is entirely up to him as the homeowner. There was a 10-year warranty on leveling adjustments and a lifetime warranty on the actual pier, up to the time he had another company undermine them. Under our warranty, we would have happily made any needed leveling adjustments. Please note that proper procedures were followeda permit was pulled, engineers inspection and certification were performed, and the contracted bid for repair was completed. Our documentation corroborates this. Allens Foundation Solutions regrets that we were not able to come to a satisfactory conclusion with Mr. *******, but he chose to pursue actions that knowingly voided his warranty, which only covered areas that we repaired in the first place (and not the rest of the home.) Unfortunately, our hands are tied.
