      Purchased a fridge on 2/24/2023 from Brandsmart the 1 year Warranty is up and our fridge completely broke on 8/1/24, so it is now being processed through "Guardsman aka Warantech aka Amynta Warranty " *********** has delayed this process for a month and has not "escalated" any of our request. We have been without a fridge for 1 month and have a family, medication that needs to be refrigerated and they do not assist. They are now saying its been approved to replace but still delaying the process for us to get a new fridge. A fridge may seem like nothing to someone but it is an every day part of your life, the emotional and health stress this has caused is unacceptable. I have never wrote a complaint but this needs to be addressed. I need to be compensated for the cost of eating out every day for 1 month with a family. Please contact me to help with this issue.

      I contacted Wayfair.com on Sunday, 8/25/2024 about an ELECTRICAL issue I am having with a humidifier. The purchase date is Sunday, February 27, 2022 in the amount of $82.18. This amount includes a 3-Year Protection Plan by Warrantech for $7.99. ******* asked me to contact Warrantech (since I have a 3-year protection plan), because the coverage through them only covered the first year. I called Warrantech (Tel: ************) and spoke with two ***resentatives. I told them what was going on and asked them NUMEROUS times if I could send photos. They told me that they do NOT accept photos which doesn't make sense to me! I was asked, "Does it work?" I told them that it lights up, but that doesn't mean it is working properly. I also told them that burned marks are inside the based and a piece is melting, so that means there is something electrical going on. Also, it looks like mold or something is floating in the water that's in the base, but I can't check to see if it's mold because a main part is not removable to be checked or cleaned. After me telling them this, they refused to file a claim!!! The only thing the *** said to me is that it's working. This is p***osterous! All I want them to do is exchange the unit, because this can be dangerous! I have had cheaper humidifiers that have lasted years! I decided to try this brand because it was smaller and more sleek. Again, they refused photos! I have never heard of a warranty company that refuses photos!

      I purchased a 5 year protection plan for an appliance. 3 years after the purchase, I attempted to open a claim through the warranty and it was extremely difficult. The line continued to get disconnected, not answered and dropped when I attempted to open the claim.

      On Wednesday 07/10/2024 we noticed water on the floor in our laundry room. Water was leaking from the front of our Electrolux clothes washing machine. We purchased our machine in 10/2020 and purchased the extended warranty at the time of purchase. On 07/10 I initiated a claim for our clothes washing machine. I was told I would receive a call by 07/12. I did not. 0n Friday 07/12 I called back and was told we had to wait 3-5 business days for a resolution. On Tuesday 07/16 I called again and was told to call back again.On Wednesday 07/17 I called again and was told to wait the full 5 business days.On Friday 07/19 business day #5 I called yet again. I was I formed there was not a qualified repair technician in our area and that an alternative resolution was in the works. I was promised a final resolution if we allowed them one more business day and that I would receive a phone call or email on Monday 07/22. I requested to speak with a supervisor but was told no one was available. I called on Monday 07/22 in the morning and was told to wait till the end of the business day to receive a final resolution. I did not receive any communication from them. I requested to speak with a supervisor but was told no one was available. Today, Tuesday 07/23 I called again and again requested to speak with a supervisor. I spoke with **** who was patient with me but then proceeded to request we allow them now two more business days to come up with a resolution. I told them we had waited enough days and that I expected a resolution today as promised. **** reiterated that we needed to wait two more business days. By now we feel Warrantech operates by giving customers the run around. I am reaching out to the BBB as I feel I have done all I can to get Warrantech to fulfill their obligation and make the situation right in a timely manner. Since we do not have a qualified service repair technician in our area, we would like the same washing machine replaced.

      American residential warranty 7/8/24 Appointment with AC repair pro through my Home warranty service ARW the company never showed up I called sent texts and left numerous voicemails no call no show. I call ARW and they said they couldn't do anything but send someone out 2 days from now after I took off of work for this and waited all day. They couldn't offer me a refund on my deductible without canceling everything the appoint is between 8-5pm two days from now so I have to wait all day again for service and miss work. When asked to speak to a supervisor there wasn't anyone available for 24hrs. This company is unaccommodating, has lack of customer service and has no accountability for the people they contract with. This isn't the only complaint I just let the other one slide. I pay too much a month for this type of customer service. When asked to speak to a supervisor there isn't one avaliable for 24hrs more waiting. It's 110 degrees where I live!!! I feel there should've been some type of compensation from my deductible since this was such an inconvenience AND I have to wait 2 more days AND take off of work. OR worked to find someone to come out tomorrow. Instead they told me I can call around and see if anyone could come out today or tomorrow isn't that what I'm paying you for??

      Since my prior complaint I have more to add. After the first company  didnt came out no call no show the second person they sent I felt very uneasy about this contractor JNL) he was saying alot of negative things about the company (which turned out to be true) but he was trying to have me pay him out of pocket for his mileage without waiting for the warranty company and also pay him out of pocket to fix my compressor (that was overpriced) he said other unsettling things that made me feel unsafe around him when I complained about him the 1 tier representative ****** ( basically quality control) disregarded my concerns and stated the option of having someone else come out of my choosing isn't an option anymore since he already came out nevermind im telling you I feel uneasy about this contractor( I had my brother come over while he was there) this man Not company!  is still contacting me anyway ARW has a clause that they assign certain appliances a limited liability for my ** it was $500 no matter what is wrong with the ** and it increases by $50  every yr so $600 towards my ** but they don't tell u that or make it clear. I pay $90 a month for my warranty premier package and just Paid 4800 out of pocket to have my compressor fixed so based on this math there was no way they were going to cover anything because the majority of the alloted liability paid for the creepy guy's mileage so I'm getting $125 back and I've paid over ***** to this company over the last 2 yrs. It's not adding up. I've spoke with managers 1 tier and I definitely wasn't supported especially when I felt unsafe with one of their contractors. The customer service just isn't there. I'm working with the company to resolve the issue but I will definitely be canceling my services.

      I have had this warranty for several years now and today was the breaking point.I have had 2 issues since i have had them. First was my garage door opener and now my toilet.1st it was they didnt cover the door opener Today they dont cover the toilet so now i call to cancel the services and they hang up on me when tell me they can cancel it, then they charge my card right after I'm hung up on.

      I am writing to file a complaint against American Residential Warranty (ARW) for their unethical business practices and the constant runaround they have given me regarding a payout email and extremely low payout amount for a faulty high-end kitchen appliance.In early May 2024, we called ARW, and a contracted repair technician came to repair our built-in speed oven/microwave. The technician informed us that a spare part needed to be ordered. After a few days, we called the repair business for an update, only to find out that the appliance could not be repaired due to the unavailability of the spare part. We followed up with ARW, and that's when the ordeal started.We have called ARW multiple times, requesting the "mailed out payout email" with the amount they were willing to give us. Each time, they took down our email addresses and asked the same questions we had previously answered. I received verbal confirmation about the very low payout amount from a supervisor. However, we have not received any email containing the promised payout information.I spoke with a manager and several supervisors on two different days, complaining about not receiving the email and the low quoted payout, which was only one-third of the cost of a similar replacement. They claimed they did not have access to the account and that another department would handle it. They also claimed not to have the correct email address for me (after 3 years of sending reminders and notifications) and that they had sent an email to my husband's email, which he never received.Since our initial contact with ARW, they have not sent us the promised email. They claimed a check was "approved," but we have not received any email or check in the mail.ARW's behavior is unacceptable, and their practices have caused us undue stress and frustration. We request that this matter be resolved promptly and wish to warn others about ARW's practices to ensure they do not continue mistreating customers.

      Warrantech is the company that we used for extended warranty on our refrigerator. The fridge broke while under warranty, February 2024. The fridge is still not working and it's May 2024. They keep on sending people to fix the fridge and it's still broken. We have been asking for a credit or replacement since they haven't been able to fix the fridge and they have stopped responding to us. Even the technicians who came told us it is ridiculous that we don't have a new fridge yet.
