On March 24, 2022, **************************** paid for a 2014 ***************** Retail installment agreement that had been completed by a former employee (name in upper right corner). The former employee informed me that she had been fired due to theft of corporate funds in December and instructed me to phone the owner to let them know about the payments I had made. Once my December payment was rejected by the old employee via the payment method that had been transmitted over several months of service, I called the automotive dealership. When the mechanical site manager answered the phone, I gave him my name and contact information. Until the owner returned from their vacation in *********, he said, he would be in charge. I told him about my recent conversation with the former employee and my worries about my contract. According to the worker in charge of the owner's company, the former employee stole from the owner and also took the computer that was used to process business invoices. Since this computer was no longer in use, no transactions involving money paid to the business were recorded on it, forcing the owner to complete everything manually. I asked him to get my name down, leave a message, and call the owner back. Upon my return, the owner, *******************************, called in a very arrogant manner and informed me that I had not made any payments since March and I still owed TTL $800.00. He claimed I never paid a car note, which I denied, and he told me this didn't bode well for me. As the weeks passed, I spoke to his wife, *****, and she kept repeating how the former employee stole their money. ***** promised to mail me paperwork to start comparing, and she sent it to the old address. I called to say I never received the paperwork. I was told by an employee that the owner was gone out of town. Upon my return, the owner was rude each time I spoke to them ******* *** ***** ****  **** *** **** *** ******* *** ********* ** **,. On February 20, 2022, when the owner picked up my car, he claimed I owed him money. Total: $2400.00 (of which $500 is still owed as a down payment). Just wait until I receive the **** papers in the mail, ******************************* yelled. He continued by saying that in order to obtain the vehicle back, he would need to purchase full coverage insurance, pay additional fees, and make $350.00 in monthly auto payments (for the months of November through February). As a result of *******************************, the owner, treating me disrespectfully, I no longer want to do business with this company. I want the $5000 down payment and this receipt the owner has in his possession: the $500.00 down payment amount that was paid, the $1,392.00 tax, title, and license, and the vehicle note payments (March 2022November 2023). Due to the owner, *******************************, who has been disrespectful, I am requesting a complete refund because I am afraid to do business with this company.

*********** is correct in that his car has been at our shop 4 or 5 times. The first of time **** had a fuel pump problem that I refused to work on because he had installed a few sheet metal screws in place of the 10 bolts that were broken off in the fuel filler neck. The next time the car would not start because **** had installed a new fuel pump and neglected to take the end cap off of the new fuel pump. We located the problem and corrected it. The remainder of the trips, [ one that I personally picked up with my wrecker ] were all related to the chips in the ignition key getting damaged while in *****' possession. The last time we addressed ***** car not cranking we again found the chip in the key had somehow again been damaged and **** asked only to get the car to crank witch we did by having another key made and only charged him for the replacement key at $96 dollars. We did not do any additional repairs as **** said he had no money and **** said he understood it needed additional repair and would address the issue himself. We have tried to address *****' problems but every time he gets the car back, someone else is working on the car and damaging the keys. We've tried to explain this to **** to no avail. I DO NOT feel we owe **** anything as his problems are a direct result of someone working on the car, after it leaves our shop, that is intentionally or inadvertently causing his problems.
