I purchased a used vehicle from 11st motors. A 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee to be specific in which I paid a down payment of $4,500. I had the vehicle for approximately one month before the aluminum engine gave out. This malfunction was covered under the warranty they offered me 100% as long as it was in the ***** mile or 6- month range, in which it was. The problem occurred nevertheless before I also even paid my first car note sadly, while awaiting for a resolution from their side I was shuttered away and told I would have to fix it out of my pocket benevolent to their warranty and keep up with the notes or I would have my vehicle repossessed.

We have made every attemp to explain the Mr. ***** that yes we provided a 6 month 6000 mile powertrain warranty with his purchase. When purchasing the vehicle the customer is explained at the time of sale what a powertrain warranty consist of and is given examples of issues that may arise, some of which are covered repairs and some that are not. Mr. ***** stated that he had the vehicle less than 30 days and in fact he had it 23 days. During that 23 days he put 5400 miles on the vehicle. Which would indicate Mr. ***** spend a lot of time in the vehicle with no issues. What Mr. ***** is failing to disclose is that he over heated the vehicle and either did not notice it or thought he could continue to drive it. Either way human error is not covered under any circumstances. Had Mr. ***** paid more attention and did not continue to drive the vehicle he would not have seized the motor up. Chances are it would have been an inexpensive repair instead of having to replace a motor. We pride ourselves on taking care of our customers. We want our customers to feel comfortable with their purchase which is why we at no charge to the customer provide a 6 month 6000 mile warranty. Enclosed is a copy of the coverages and what is not covered.

    Thank You,

I am rejecting this response because: in the power train warranty when looking up the vehicle engine malfunction nevertheless is also included in all that falls under powertrain. As you stated also you claim that I put ***** miles on the vehicle not the warranty specified ***** so unless I missed anywhere in the warranty where it states a round-up clause I was still within the ***** miles or 6 month warranty parameter. Thank you for your time

    Sincerely,

    Jacorrin *****

I'm sorry that we are unable to agree that when an engine is overheated and causes engine falure that it would not be covered under any circumstances. The warranty admistrator has made their desision based on their findings and are final.

February of this year I purchased a 2016 Kia ****** from 11th street motors and within 2 days of having this car my A/C was barely working, my car was squeaking, and my car wouldn't accelerate like it should. I went to the dealership to talk to the owner about the situation, he was getting loud and disrespectful with me and told me to take it to the mechanic that they deal with, which I did and for the past two months my car been in the shop because of my turbo engine needing a part. I'm getting the run arounds from the dealership, I'm paying my car note faithfully with no car to drive, I asked for a refund or to put me in another vehicle which the owner denied both options and I put 5 grand down and I feel like they don't take me serious and that my money went down the drain.

The customer purchased a 2016 *** ****** and shortly after the purchase complained that the vehicles A/C was not workig properly and that the vehicle seemed to be loseing power while accelerating. I asked her to bring the vehicle to our recomended shop and found that the ** panel with the control k*** needed to be replaced. The parts were on back order but eventualy receved the part which repaired the ** control. The issue concerning the power was a bad turbo so we ordered a turbo and again took a while to receive because everything is on back order these days. Afer receiving 4 bad turbos i desided to order a new one from *** just to get this customer taken care of. After about a month I call the *** store and asked why it was taking so long to get the turbo in. His response was I don't know it should have been here by now. The following day he called me explaining to me that *** had put a no sale on all turbos due to an over abundance of issues. Once I found this out I realized that this customer has been more than patient up to this point that the only thing to do is to unwind the deal and return her money or to switch her into another vehicle of her choice. After some discussion she desided that she wanted her money back so that is what we did.
