I’ve lived at this apartment complex since March 8, 2021. I try to be the best tenant possible and I know I do not give problems. Since I’ve moved here I’ve been unhappy. The apartments are unleveled, it’s noticeable as soon as you step on the balcony. The electrical sockets have problems whether it’s them shortening out, not working at all, or being unable to hold the plug in properly. I’ve had expensive items stolen from my home that have still yet to be recovered, the only people with a key besides myself is the office personnel. Recently, Friday morning, on 3/4/22, I dropped off my money order to pay rent. Now, on 3/7/22, my account is reflecting that I never paid my rent at all. I’ve spoken with office personnel twice about my account and was told they would look at the date of my money order. My issue was not solved, instead more late fees are going to occur daily and I’ve been threatened with eviction. This is a very simple fix, but honestly I’m not surprised the situation has gone this route. I expected this behavior the moment I put in my notice to not renew my lease.Business response

Ms. ***** had previously reported a non working outlet in the apartment .An electrician was called who resolved the issue promptly and appropriately. Documentation is available.
When complaints were made regarding missing items we advised her to contact police but she apparently failed to pursue. Ms ***** did make a rent payment of $16 in March and the payment was inadvertently lost but recovered . Late fees were removed. The overwhelming bulk of her rent is paid by the generous taxpayers ( Housing) and was received in a timely manner. This should resolve the complaint.
We are sorry to hear she is unhappy. We have acknowledged her notice to vacate and expect to receive the apartment returned in clean condition as
provided in her lease agreement.
Thank you for the opportunity to correct the record.
Sincerely,
***** *******, Realtor
