Reviews are all about the customer perspective, which can vary drastically. Homestead provided the mortgage for my new house; only the second house I've purchased. Given my limited experience with mortgage companies, my focus for their support in this type of transaction was not very acute - Boy, was I wrong! I had what a reasonable person would consider the worst real estate agent imaginable, and thanks to Homestead and their staff, I likely wouldn't have been able to purchase the house! They provided an unprecedented level of support. They basically filled all the holes left by the agent, understood my personality, and took action!! Given this new found understanding of exactlly how important the role of the mortgage company can be, I can honestly say, I WOULD NEVER purchase another home without using the quality service and customer relations that Homestead Mortgage provided! Full Stop!!! If you are taking a mortgage for a new home, do youself a favor, and make certain you give Homestead a call before making a decision on a mortgage provider!
