Went to this business on July 28, 2022for an ac diagnostic. They said my ac needed all parts changed out including the ac compressor. For $2000, 00. All of my ac parts were fairly new so I took my truck to another auto repair shop. This shop diagnosed the ac system as having a leak in the hose assembly. They repaired my leak and it is working perfectly. The charge was $150 The Quiet Zone Auto Repair in Beaumont Tx. should be ashamed of this and I’d like my money back for the false diagnoses and freon. And an apology for the humiliating disrespect. Just imagine who all they’ve done this too that didn’t not get a “second opinion”. The manager there is rude. I tried to explain to that all these expensive parts are new. I also explained I have a hard time believing that all 4 parts started leaking all at the same time. He raised his voice (with customers 5 feet away) and angrily explained he’s been doing this for many, many years and that I didn’t know what I was talking about. Well I turned out to be right. None of those parts were bad and leaking Freon. And my ac is fine because I took it somewhere else.Business response

You can follow the link below to view our inspection which clearly shows an evaporator leak,indicated by the stain on the side of the evaporator box. It also shows the temperature of the systems output of 65degrees, indicating poor performance. (should be cooling to at least 50 degrees if properly functioning)
The vehicle was presented with no cooling. We charged the system and it left cooling. He returned 2 weeks later and all of the refrigerant had leaked out. We recharged the system and performed a leak check. We found the evaporator was leaking and the compressor was under performing. We quoted a complete repair and dicussed a partial repair of only doing the evaporator.
If there was a hose leak, as he states we did not identify it.
We stand by our diagnosis and treatment of the customer.
