My builder used Termimesh in my new home construction. 4 years later I start getting 'billed' almost $200 for 'warranty' with NO explanation what-so-ever, as if I owe the money. When I called the woman on the phone said it was optional and my builder should have explained it. REALLY??? I told them to stop sending, I would not pay it, but the bills keep coming. Very shady business practice borderline criminal if you ask me. From reading the reviews on ******* this is apparently how they operate. Terrible company.Apparently, from reading ****** reviews, they are also sending these 'fake' bills to customers that never used the service.Business response

My apologies to the customer for the continuing receipt of statements and billing notices. Once the customer spoke with our representative, the charge should have been removed from his account and all further correspondences should have ceased. I will make sure this occurs ASAP.

Termimesh has initiated a false collection attempt against us using ****** ********** ***., a claim for a debt that does not nor ever did exist. There is no ongoing relationship with this company, Termimesh. Our builder, ********, had us use them back in 2019. I have seen online where this company uses these kinds of tactics to attempt to sell their warranties. I have also seen where they blame this type of action on their employees as admin mistakes. This is not a “mistake’; this is criminal. I have absolutely no interest in obtaining/renewing any such warranty now or anytime in the future. I am referring this back to the ******** firm as well as my attorney.Business response

The invoice amount the customer was referring to was for work actually performed on his house at the time of construction and not a warranty. It was for a borate treatment performed back in October of 2019. An invoice was never sent due to our ***** ********* incorrectly entering the service. I had this amount written off back in May 2021 when it came to my attention. There is no amount owed on this account anymore. If *** contacted *** *******, it was due to a timing issue between the write off and when the account was marked by the system for collections. If the customer needs anything, please have them contact ******** in my office at ***** ******** and she will provide any information to him.
