    Im 78 years old and bought one of the Kanega watches since I live alone. I fell and the watch didnt go off. I pressed the button and was able to get help. I called and let the team know, and they explained how the alarm works and made it a little more sensitive. I guess the alarm for falling isnt an exact science, but i know i was still able to get help. Some people just like to complain, and these reviews show it. Im not great with a computer, but found all the information I needed on the watch website. A little ***** goes a long way, and Im thankful for my watch.

    Would not buy this again. Constant false activations and the batteries break and need replacement often, each time costing $25 for one. Very expensive, unreliable, and not worth the investment.

    Buyer beware. The UnaliWear Kanega Medical Alert Watch 30-day money back guarantee only applies to the watch itself, not a defective battery (which they sent with their product). We had to pay out of pocket for a new battery after only 7 days of use as batteries are not covered at all under the warranty. After **************************************************** you make any adjustments to the function of the watch with customer service, the 30 days begins at the time of the initial order, not at the time the product is received. Our father with dementia fell twice with no alert or call to listed family members, which they had promised. They stated they could see fall in their system but didn't call because dad pressed the crown button to cancel. We have Nest cameras and he did not press the button. Nevertheless, in order to determine if the watch is defective, you are forced to pay out of pocket to send the defective watch back, pay out of pocket for a new watch and then they do an analysis to determine if they find that the watch is defective. If they decide it is functioning, you are stuck with another out of pocket expense of $400. We cancelled the watch after 60 days and lost $350 ($180 for 2 months of using a defective watch, and $170 for 2 months of monitoring service that didn't work as promised).This watch is not safe for an older adult with dementia. In fact, please ask any and all questions regarding what is covered under warranty, return policies, etc. There is a lot of fine print that is not easily accessible. Remember there is no way to purchase an extended warranty or insurance plan so you are at their mercy after *************************************************** medical type alert

    There is a 30 day return as presented in their advertisement. However when there is a problem with the watch they drag out the potential adjustments required. Finally after 6 months of charging the internal battery, replacing the exterior batteries several times, adjusting the fall sensitivity, finally Unali replaced the watch. Within 30 days the same problems existed. We thought the 30 day guarantee would start with the new watch, it doesnt. We were given a $48 refund less the cost to return the watch.

    The Kanega Watch is a great product and it's made in the USA! The customer service from UnaliWear is fantastic and they've been very patient with my difficult parent. It's perfect for folks who need something with with fall detection, but don't want a pendant. Highly recommend!

    Fran I have been a customer of Kanega Watch for over two years. After I fell in my house and fractured my femur, my son insisted that I get a device that I could get help with if I needed it. He did his homework and came up with Kanega Watch. I resisted at first but then gave it some thought and realized that I would feel safer if I had a way to get help if I needed it whether I was walking my dog, taking a shower or simply getting a drink of milk from my kitchen. The watch is stylish, comfortable and simple to charge daily. Any issues I had with it that I reached out to Kanega about they addressed and fixed to my satisfaction within 24-48 hours. The folks at Kanega are a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend this watch and this company to anyone that wants 24/7 anywhere anytime monitoring. It is money well spent!

    The Kanega Watch has been a lifesaver for my grandma (and mom!). My grandma lives independently and is able to continue to do so because the Kanega provides round the clock coverage in the case of an emergency. And even better, my mom can rest easy, knowing she's safe. We chose the Kanega because the 24/7 monitoring service already knows who she is when an alert comes from the watch. After doing so much research online, we found that the Kanega's coverage and service was far superior to others on the market. Totally worth the price!

    I heard about this product from a friend and told my dad about it. We both researched it thoroughly and decided to give the Watch a try. He did not like the other fall alert systems he had used. He loves the look and feel of the watch. How easy it is to see and use. And of course, talking to Fred Astaire! How fantastic Customer Service has been every time he has a question. My dad is 98 years old and going strong and this gives him the confidence he needs living alone in an apartment. He wears this watch night and day . Batteries are so simple to change every morning even though he has problems with his arthritic fingers. We both highly recommend this product!
