The experience at Ogre, Man Movers was highly unpleasant/ & unprofessional. **** not only yelled at me but continued to talk down to me in a condescending manner. Additionally, his movers broke my television, showed up late and went to the wrong location. Mam, you are ridiculous, a thief, condescending, and belligerent. You're arrival window was arrival 8 to 9 am as we do 1 hour arrival window which you were notified of before booking, which is confirmed via phone and text, we called you to let you know we were on the way and would be there at 845 and you screamed at my employees because they were on time, I immediately told you if you raise your voice once more the job would be over before it started, you then apologized. Once they were there, ON TIME, you then waived full liability because you had no protective items for your items as you only booked our services for labor only (men, dollies, tools). We then followed you over to your new location (which you were locked out of and we had to waitnfor over an house for you to get in (again all verified thru text and in writing) you then continued to yell and be rude, we placed everything exactly where you wanted it, nothing was damaged or broken, and again you waived full liability because you previously threw your stuff into storage and had nothing to protect it for us to do our job. You then made up a bunch of lies to try and scam our business after telling us you couldn't afford movers to begin with. I'm pressing fraud charges against you, we don't deal with psychopath *****'s. Again we have everything in writing and recorded phone calls. Our lawyer will be contacting you we flat out refuse you service.Review from Wendell M

My fiance hired this company to help her close out her apartment. I used them when I first moved to ****** 4 years ago but never dealt with whom I am guessing is the owner. This time the crew was good, a little late to the job but nothing to complain about. The issue came all day with payments. He called my wife, talking complete nonsense about not being paid. However, we keep receipts and he apologized. I got involved at the end of the process at the storage unit. He started by rounding up 25 minutes to an hour which had her go over the budget she had set. To me, this was no big deal and I told him that I was going to send her the money however, I was getting a poor signal as were in the very back of a storage complex. I told him that as soon as I got in the clear, we would send him the remaining $58. She had already paid well over $650 so I didnt understand why the classless reactions to think I would skip for peanuts. In the process of getting a signal, he sent my wife a text (*************** this clown show, ask me and I will share the text and more details of what was said). It was another classless, unprofessional moment for this person. This was the second time he went off and threatened to call the police (sorry but I am not afraid of the police). This was all done, first by phone and then to a female via text. I told her to respond that if he had any other issue that he could reach out to me direct and to provide him my cell. I am a VP at my company and I have never ran into such unprofessional behavior and the words are another matter all together. His guys were classy enough to apologize for him but I told them not to. He displayed cowardly behavior over $58. It took us about 10 minutes to find a spot where we starting receiving a good signal and sent the $58. My issue is texting my fiancee with such malice. People just keep getting more clueless and uneducated day by day. First off you're fiance is well aware we charge hourly, all calls are recorded, so obviously 25 minutes into another hour means it's a full hour, secondly we have a 1 hour arrival window no one was late we also busted our **** non stop for 6 hours. At the end of the job you sent a partial payment and then tried to tell us you weren't paying anything else, and then told our crew you were leaving. We informed you that if you leave without paying its called theft of services and we will be filing a police report as we are very clear that payment is due at time of service. You then proceeded to call us every curse word under the sun, which made us laugh at you which set you off on amother tantrum, so let's talk about classeless cowardly behavior. And no you never paid anyone the remainder, which is theft, and again if you're too broke to pay for your moving service don't try and cheat people in 110 degree weather, keep in mind we record all phone calls so your cowardly theft and screaming and cursing like a little baby throwing a temper tantrum because he didn't get his way was recorded. The phone recordings have already been provided to the police and your company as we don't tolerate theft or that type of horrendous behavior from anyone, you would think a "VP" could afford a move and not steal from people and then have the audacity to openly tell people you stole from them, you can't fix stupid, the police can deal with you now. Additionally, the only thing texted to your "fianc" was we dont tolerate theft and a police report is being filed as she is the customer, not your little whining self, but keep crying and throwing a temper tantrum. Have a great day, what you need to do is put down the cheeseburgers and go for a run, might make you feel a little better and help you stop acting like the world owes you, when in fact it doesn't. people really are just getting more idiotic day by dayReview from Catherine m

After I posted a negative review, the owner proceeded to send over 100 texts over several days full of insults, profanities, but most importantly, threats. This stalking behavior is a serious safety concern and far scarier than what was initially just bad service. He included my address, full name and a picture of my face stalked online and threatened to slander my business in retaliation. I am very concerned that this stalking behavior could negatively impact another woman using their service and that it could be worse for someone else. I sincerely regret that this business owner has my name and phone number. Initial review:Three movers showed up visibly stoned. I paid for two hours, but after one hour, they were ready to leave. My bike was crammed behind a bunch of boxes and they had ratchet strapped around my photo equipment to a plastic sewing machine case, which then broke. I asked them to reposition some things in the truck and was met with open hostility. They spent far more time arguing with me and insulting me than it would have taken to simply rearrange a few items. I was also a woman alone being screamed at by three giant men in my own home. What started as an inconvenience quickly felt like a safety issue. When I called in, the owner didn't seem worried or surprised by his crew's behavior. He just told me about what great reviews he had. A very scary, pointlessly unpleasant experience. At least Ogre Man Movers is accurately named.Ogre Man Movers LLC Response

First off, we record phone calls, we refused this woman service and she is on record saying "who hires blacks these days, there are much better labor options" this is when the job was done for us! That is not now and will never be tolerated by us ever. And she continues to harass us days later. As you can see from the photos of our entire conversation I have uploaded to yelp I immediately told her her job was over due to her racist remarks and she proceeded to message me over 100 times, you can clearly see from my responses we did everything in our power to stop this racist from contacting us, but she was set in her ways. We pleaded with this woman to stop messaging us and refused her service for racism, and this is the temper tantrum she threw. Grab your popcorn! We really hate to put this womans business in public but this is ridiculous, we are in the middle of pressing charges against this woman and this is how she behaves. This woman has now prceeded to harass me for 3 days straight all of which has been recorded and documented with hireahelper, yelp, ******* and the BBB. she literally said to my face "who hires blacks these days, there are much better labor options" I then refused to service her job and refused to listen to her demands any further. Once leaving she then sent me nearly 150 messages from multiple numbers, harassing me threatening me for days on end after I have refused her service for racist comments. ********************************* as her jewelry business needs to be boycotted as she exploits people of color without them knowing she's insanely racist. All employees on this job were disrespected, talked down to, and were subjected to behavior no one should be. If this person tries to hire you for any service RUN!
