      They provide part time insurance at my company. I had gotten a promotion after signing up for part time insurance. My coverage never began- however I was charged from January to August. Bi-Weekly. I noticed in June, made verbal contact in July since emails hadnt gotten me anywhere. As of now its September and they have reissued 3 checks that magically never made it to my house with the rest of my mail. Ive been told weekly since July that theres a check on the way & two months later I have yet to receive it. So I was AUTO DEDUCTED beginning Jan 1 for 8 months for something that was cancelled by my November ****************** a pretty solid refusal to refund at this point:

      I have never received an email from The American Worker until today, July 8 2023, saying they will charge my bank account and listed my bank routing number and account number. The problem is I have never provided them this information, I have never signed up with them and there is no reason they should have my bank information let alone my contact information on file. The number they provide to cancel the charge does not give an option to actually cancel the draft, instead you can only choose a plan you want to sign up for. I think this company is a scam because they also ask for my social security number immediately when calling. However, I have NEVER given them my personal information, I have never given them my bank information and I have never given them my social security ********** dont feel safe giving it to them. I have tried calling and emailing to request to delete my sensitive personal information along with telling them to not illegally draft money from my bank account without me knowing but they will not answer. I received the scam email on July 8 2023 at 5:12 am from the email ************************************** I would like the business to contact me and provide proof they have deleted all my sensitive banking information along with a refund of any and all illegal charges they have charged me as I have no idea what the company is and they must have used fraudulent means to retrieve my banking information and social security number.

      I got divorced and want to cancel my plan with the american worker I have tried and tried to cancel the insurance because I no longer need it nor can I afford the plan with being divorced now I am struggling to make ends meet and pay household bills and do not understand why a divorce is not a Quailifying event

      I filed claim with the insurance provider in August 2021. They surpassed the initial 45 day claim reviewing timeframe and sent the payment for services to the incorrect address. The correct address was indicated on the form at the time of submission. They claim to have sent the check to the previous address. However, mail forwarding was on and interestingly enough this was the only piece of mail I never got at my new address. I was told that I had to wait one month to file for the processing of a new check. At the end of a month filed for a new check to be sent. I was then told a 45 day period was necessary to print a new check. 45 days was surpassed for a new check and was told on a Friday that the check was printed and to be mailed on Monday. A month and a half went by and the check was never mailed. The initial claim was that it went to the wrong address again, however with mail forwarding still on, this is now the second piece of mail that mysteriously got lost. I was then told the check was never printed and they were looking into it. Then I was blamed that I did not update the address for the agency I worked for at the time and that is why the check was sent to the wrong address. Management was to get involved and I was ensured that management would email me within ********************************************************************************************************************* total, the provider approved a $400 dollar reimbursement for the plan. They lied on several accounts to get the check out, blamed me for their mistakes, and could not follow their own instructions that was filled out on the claim form. This is now close to the 8th month from when this claim was filed. And about 6 months from when the claim reimbursement was approved. I've tried contacting them patiently dozens of times over the past 8 months to get this resolved and they refuse to send the check to the correct address.

      I am rejecting this response because: the issue is not resolved.  I've also heard this many times with no resolution.  It should not be this difficult to track a check for a claim that is over 8 months old with an approved issuance.

      On 12/31/2021 I selected/signed up for health insurance coverage in error. I tried to cancel but website wouldn't let me unless I cancelled all coverages. I was finally able to speak to someone at The American Worker on 1/4/2022 and requested to cancel health as I already had insurance, ********* I was told I could only cancel everything over the phone. In order to cancel health effective 1/4/2021, if I provided proof of new insurance and all premiums paid would be refunded. I sent via email, a copy of my medical card and associated paperwork. The American Worker refused to accept my paperwork and did not cancel the health insurance. I requested to cancel everything 1/19/2021. The American Worker did not cancel my insurance. The American Worker only refunded me $20.36 which was because they deducted premiums twice for the same week.

      So The American Worker is my insurance provided through my employer and it looked sketchy as h*** and called many locations to see if they accepted it. I struggled ******** with it and found a provider. Everything went well and then all of a sudden while trying to access the website to show my clinic the insurance information the website says that its limited my access to the website for security reasons and to contact the website administrator to change it. I have 0 access to their website so I can't even try to figure out how and it's been like this for weeks. I have a cardiologist appointment coming up and what am I supposed to say to them? That my insurance blocked me from access to their website and access to my insurance information? Unblock me, and I would like a sincere apology for the stress it's causing me.

      I am sorry for the issues with the website.  I show two calls to our call center.  One from you on 11/1/2021 where we assisted you in finding a DR in network.  Then on 2/25/2022 a DR ****** called about the status of a claim that was received and is still processing.

      We have no calls or online service requests from you regarding the website.  We were unable to assist you because we were unaware of the issue.

      I will have someone call you to assist with your cardiologist appointment.

      Their is no company in ******** health care will take this insurance I got turn around five times in different areas ok I went from my area to driving 25 miles for other clinics they convince my company I worker for to take. Workers money from 1/2/21 until now I need help cause i found out they are a scam and I want my money back Im at Addus health care I want to know is they on this scam cause we make poor money at this company now this American worker company is taking money out my check every two week BBB I need help

      I have The American Worker insurance through my employer for a part-time job. To find a provider, I attempted to use the Multiplan website but was unable to find a provider for a mammogram. On 8/24/21 I called Multiplan's phone number, eventually spoke to someone and was emailed a list of providers for mammograms. I chose one of the providers they sent me, made an appointment and received a mammogram on 9/15/21 - 3 weeks after I received the list of providers. On 11/24/21 and 12/7/21 I received two explanation of benefits from Fringe Benefit Group (The American Worker's claims processor) and was told on both that the provider was out of network and non-participating and my claim was denied. It says I am responsible for 100% of the charges. I have subsequently found both of my providers on the Multiplan website as network providers. This is the third time I have experienced my insurance claims being denied with the reason being sited as provider is out of network. I am getting the feeling that all claims are immediately denied and then if you call them about it, they may reprocess it. My providers are in network. There is no reason for these claims to be denied. I am frustrated and exasperated at having to repeatedly deal with this. It's next to impossible to talk to an actual person unless you are willing to be on hold for close to an hour. I would like my claims to be paid to the providers immediately because they are both in network.

      The American Worker is a **************** offered through my employer. They claim to have lost their Program Provider and therefore all the data. For almost a year they are not paying claims, sending out wrong invoices and statements and as a consequence have many of my providers upset and threatening me with collection. When you call they let you wait for min. 30 minutes before picking up the phone, then usually they will take another 30 minutes to look for your claim, sounding always surprised. Often they just drop the phone. It has been incredibly stressful and time consuming to deal with them and it is not fair, I am paying my health-insurance every 2 weeks out of my paycheck. I just want them to reimburse me for the expenses I had to pay in advance and pay the outstanding bills to the providers I used.

      I have been paying for dental insurance for the entire year and never got a card. I never got any information at all that I could supply and office with. When I called I was told they don't cover dental. They've taken money every month from my check for this though. I have had a broken tooth for the duration that gives me severe pain and have had to deal with it since I can't even tell offices my insurance company.

      A variety of medical providers have submitted claims for you and your spouse in 2021.  Many payments have been made to those providers.
