I have been doing medical billing for just over 30 years. I have yet to run into an insurance that is more like a scam. We have billed claims to Boon-Chapman TPL located in *****, TX and have a few patients we have never received the payments that they claim to have paid. We have gone over the address many times. They claim to have cut a check. They can't tell me who exactly cut the checks, they submit a tracer on the checks and nothing. Only on one of the checks did they stop payment and re-issue and funny we haven't received that check. I am told there is NO ONE to speak with. They are only allowed to email the billing department who never responds. I have made over ***** calls since September. WE still do not have an answer as to where our payments are. The reps all have the same line. Ma'am we just submitted another inquiry. You will have to wait another 30 days. I have inquired WHO can help me? May I speak with a Manager, SOMEONE and always told NO, there isn't anyone. Seems kind of odd. Sounds like a scam. It may not be but we are not receiving any payments from Boon Chapman. At least someone answers the phones now unless I was just lucky today to hear the same response for the last 5 months. I was told today by member services that once a check goes out the door, its out of our hands. SERIOUSLY? I will see what the ********** of ********* has to say. We did get the patient involved and I what I was told today was the result. This is just ODD. I need answers please.
