I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received from Zen Business. Despite paying $349 plus other fees for services that was advertised as valuable, I have found it to be severely lacking and confusing.Firstly, your website is incredibly convoluted, with various tiers that are poorly explained and ultimately offer little to no discernible difference in value. This lack of clarity led me to choose a service that promised much but delivered nothing.Furthermore, attempting to cancel my monthly service and overall engagement with Zen Business has been a nightmare. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to your support team, I have been met with unhelpful responses and promises of callbacks that never materialize. The one callback I did receive only led to more frustration, as I was unable to reach the manager despite multiple attempts. It is unacceptable for a company to ignore customer concerns in such a manner.Given the subpar quality of the services provided and the complete lack of customer support, I am requesting either a full refund or a prorated refund for the services that were promised but not delivered. I believe this is a fair resolution considering the level of dissatisfaction I have experienced.I have already filed a complaint with my bank in hopes of resolving this matter, but I am open to discussing a resolution directly with Zen Business if you are willing to rectify the situation promptly.I urge you to take this matter seriously and respond to my request in a timely manner. I purchased their fast track package to get my company LLC filed around April 12th 2024. Zen business was advertising that they can have your LLC filed and ready to go within 3 to 4 business days. I waited 2 weeks for Zen business to complete my LLC formation they could not complete the job so I had to go do it myself and file for an EIN number with the federal government I tried to rectify the issue by calling Zen business to ask for my Fast Track refund back considering it did not take their two to three business days as advertised. Zen business refused to give me any type of refund at all whatsoever.Business response

After reading all the complaints this is the same like the others I was charged $199 even though I canceled my subscription couple of months ago and then after that they send the 199 to collection and I got a call from collection I'm planning to file small Court claim against this company they are very predatory practices please do not use them I repeat do not use this companyBusiness response

As stated in our emails and voicemails we do not have any record of your cancelation. We called and emailed multiple times to discuss your services from December to February. As we are still listed as the Registered Agent of your LLC your services have remained active.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:First of all you're not making any sense obviously all the complain here are the same you guys charging for renewal without telling your clients then when payments failed you send it to collection how's that make any sense??? You are predatory company who prays on their customers I will never use you again, you better remove that collection it's the service that I did not use and I don't need
I got call on November asking me to update my billing information and I told them I do not need that service

This service was signed up for in December of 2022. The customer asked us to be appointed as the Registered Agent for his LLC. We are still listed as the Registered Agent for the company. This service is annually renewing and was agreed to by the customer. We have no record of any calls in November that the customer requested cancelation and have asked the customer for evidence of this call. We show three calls from us in December and February with follow up emails stating that his payment was past due and that we were listed as the Registered Agent and to go over his services. Customer did not respond to these calls or emails.Customer response

I ordered services from ZenBusiness in 2023. I was supposed to renew my services on January 07, 2024. I was not happy with ZenBusiness's services. I did not auto renew my payment. I received a phone on 1/11/2024 asking about my auto renewal. I told the Gentleman who called me on Zenbusiness's behalf that I was not renewing my services for $698.00 for the upcoming year. I was told by that Gentleman that my account was closed and that I would need to get a new Registered Agent. I do not recall that he gave me 30 days to do it in. On 03/06/2024, I contracted with ******** Registered Agents LLC for a new Registered Agent. It so happens that ZenBusiness and ******** Registered Agents LLC use the exact same Registered Agent. N Today, 04/15/2024, I get a phone call and an e-mail from SWRS (***************************) which is a collection agency for $698.00 for services that I have not used from ZenBusiness. I called ZenBusiness and was put on hold for very lengthy periods. I chatted with an agent from Zenbusiness and she told me that since I had not reported a new Registered Agent with Zenbusiness, that I now had to pay the full $698.00 for services that i never used.AGAIN, I was told by the agent on 1/11/2024, that my account was closed. I'm not sure why I'm being expected to pay $698.00 for a service that I never received for 2024. I want ZenBusiness to stop the collections and cancel my account if they haven't already done so. If my credit is hurt, I want my credit to be repaired.Business response

Several weeks ago I saw Zenbusiness' ad saying how easy it was to file LLC. I got started and found it to be more complicated than I expected. At the end I noticed I was charged more than I expected to be charged, my portal showed I should have had an EIN issued but never got one. I have spent hours on hold waiting for anyone to answer the phone and made attempts by email with no success. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. I want a full refund and to make sure they don't charge my card again at renewel since nobody ever replies or answers the phone.Business response

February 19/February 21. I made two purchases resulting in a $498 charge. I needed my EIN in at least a month time. It has been 2 months since I ended up going with a competitor which theyre already secured my EIN and I am able to open business checking and obtain contracts. I have been calling and texting via chat for a while and have been getting the run around. At this point I just want my money back to a different payment method. I will not need the **** I entered the *** name ZenBusiness said NO ONE had the business name yet behold someone did and cause me to have a delay in all sales. I just want my money back and to be done with this process thats it.Business response

We paid Zen Business to file our S Corp documentation in January of 2022 to which we received email and verbal verification that all of the filings were completed and accepted. We recently received a letter from the *** stating that form 2553 was not submitted and our company was never set as an S-corp. As such, our last two years filings have been processed incorrectly and we are facing thousands of dollars in fees with a threat of incarceration. ZenBusiness has refused to provide any documentation proving they submitted our documents, and has promised us call back on 3 separate occasions to which they have missed two. This situation has caused significant financial duress to our family and immense emotional damage with the threat of jail time being heldd over our head for something we were led to believe (and they accepted payment for) to be completed.Business response

I have repeatedly requested cancellation of services from these fraudsters for the last two years. They send repeated e-mails asking me to verify billing information, then do not allow removal of my credit card information from my "account". I have numerous e-mails from them trying to get me to continue, where I have demanded they cancel my account. I have talked to their online "customer care" who told me the account was cancelled and refund was initiated, and they have just sent me word that they are going to be initiating another $150 charge again. This has been ongoing for two years, and its completely insane to me that they somehow maintain their BBB rating, as it's clear I'm not the only person that is having this issue.Business response

I have been attempting to cancel my subscription to ZenBusiness "Pro Plan" for over a week to prevent my upcoming automatic renewal. I have formally changed my Registered Agent for my company with the state, and therefore no longer need their services. There is no possibility to cancel my subscription online. I attempted several online chats and several phone calls - each time, I waited no less than 30 minutes and usually over an hour without being able to speak to a representative and had to hang up. I sent emails to the help desk line, and received no response besides an acknowledgement that my email was received. Finally this morning, I was able to speak over chat with a representative (but I was only connected after pretending I wanted to buy a service). The agent claimed she couldn't cancel my service for me, and would have to have an agent called me. I explained I had been trying to speak with someone, but no one answers the phone (even today, Wednesday April 3, their phone line automatically hangs up on you claiming it's a holiday). I also explained this was high priority as my renewal was upcoming and I was being ignored. She promised to escalate my case and have someone call me back urgently and email me if they couldn't reach me by phone. They are now closed for the day, and once again, have completely ignored me and ignored my additional follow up emails.Business response
