This the second time in the last seven months that I had a plumber come out and fix a leak. I *************** why this keeps happening and its because the type Nibco pipe the builder used when the house was built. I would like to get reimburse for the repair I have paid for. The was an incident three years ago as well that cost me 6k to get fixed. This time around it was about $1300.Business response

Homes by Avi has confirmed that the home in question closed in 2010 and that the plumbing in the house was inspected and passed by the ******************. At the time of these inspections, the plumbing in the home met or exceeded the required code, which allowed the house to receive an occupancy permit.
Additionally, a third-party warranty program backed the house's plumbing systems for two years, with coverage concluding in 2012. Therefore, we regret to inform you that we will not entertain requests for reimbursement, as the item falls outside the warranty program.Respectfully,

I am currently in a back-and-forth situation where there is no attempt to rectify the issue at hand. I am trying to resolve an issue with my irrigation system that was caused by the irrigation company hired by Avi Homes that improperly installed it on 2 duplex units. This issue entails the crossing of irrigation lines between 2 properties, unburied drip lines, and a crack in the *** piping causing the irrigation control value box to *************** parts of my yard. In an attempt to get this issue resolved, the business Avi Homes hired to install the irrigation system, Allworks, claims that the warranty has been voided due to the capping of lines and defers blame to other landscape companies. When I asked ********************************* for documentation of the warranty, I was not given any documentation and was told that I was on my own. This issue is causing 2 homes to not have a full irrigation system due to improper installation. Avi Homes has been slow to respond to emails and is avoidant to provide any solution.Business response

We are contacting you regarding the complaint filed by ********************* against Homes by Avi on 4/21. We have looked into this matter and shared the resolution below with **************. We are pleased to inform you that the issue is resolved.
Our Warranty Manager inspected the sprinkler system for possible leaks at the tree and valve with the homeowner on 4/12 and completed these repairs on 5/4.
On 5/9, we returned to the site to ensure that every irrigation station was running smoothly and to inspect the drip line where the tree was located. We also double-checked the box and main shut-off for sprinklers. Again, we confirm that there were no new leaks detected.

I am rejecting this response as the resolution to this issue has not been completed. Avi homes still needs to install the rain sensor, which was never installed during the initial build, and needs to be completed before this issue is to be considered fully resolved and done in a timely manner.

Homes by Avi reached out to ************** on May 23 with an offer to install the rain sensor, which he declined. Our office followed up with him on May 31 with a request to reimburse him for an additional valve replacement, and we are still waiting to receive a response.Customer response
