February 2nd I bought tickets to the ****** Crawfish Festival. I paid $99.14 for the *** tickets, and $20 (day of). On the day of the festival, there was a long line of cars to get in that we waited in for hours. After that we parked and headed in. The event was being shut down before we could get inside. SO MANY people paid for this event and didn't get anything. I don't understand how this is legal. They disable comments on Instagram and ********* and will NOT respond to any refund requests or anything. This is a TOTAL SCAM and shouldn't be allowed. They were on the news and everything. This is absolutely disgusting for them to do. I posted one article below about this festival to support my situation. We bought *** tickets expecting to have a wonderful time at the ************************ 2022 and their website promised free drinks (not alcohol) and unlimited crawfish, bounce houses and music on two stages and the like. I have emailed their info contact several times but it was since removed completely and only get a bounce back email. I have recently contacted the parent company Hello! Entertainment to which this complaint is filed. https://www.austincrawfishfest.com The following occurred:- we waited over an hour to even get into the event during the "Exclusive *** only" time despite arriving before opening because there was not enough parking ***************** were not set with cash or proper Wi-Fi to charge cards. The event allowed in non *** into *** sections because there were not enough attendants - the fire marshal showed up directing that a lot of the festival was not organized properly and tents were not tied down properly for the wind, some tents falling down, and making us feel as if we were in an unsafe environment - there were NO bounce houses, live music, no free non-alcoholic drinks (in the *** section) and the line was so long for only TWO crawfish stands to feed hundreds of people standing in line. I have photos of all of these situations.- there were NO garden games - there we NO napkins - there was NO way to even pay for drinks in the *** section because there was no Wi-Fi - there was no attendance at all times in both *** sections for people being able to enter early to get in and get crawfish.- there were NO +surprises as listed on your website - it was unsafe leaving the event with people walking all over the place, in the streets and cars without any proper attendants several cars almost crashed into each other ( I have photos of this as well) All of the things stated above as listed on your website did not happen nor were available. This is misinformation and false advertising and frankly a completely disorganized chaotic eventInitial Complaint

I attended the ****** Crawfish Festival on March 6th, 2022. This event was hosted by Hello! Entertainment Group. The event was falsely advertised and did not provide most of the services they had promised in the event description. There was no crawfish for the *** section and there was over an hour wait just for one food truck that had crawfish available. The food was also horrendous and gave my father food poisoning. Hello Entertainment Group sold tickets to ****** Crawfish Festival, which was supposed to be a 2 day festival of crawfish and live entertainment. We bought *** tickets, which was supposed to include all you can eat crawfish. We tried each day to get what we paid for and left the weekend without any crawfish...here are the details:Day 1 of the Festival:We waited over an hour in traffic getting into the festival only to be turned away by the fire ******** due to it being overcapacity. Those lucky enough to get in were shocked to find the event not set up, even hours after doors opened. Bands walked off stage as they didnt have power to stages. POS systems were not in place, so vendors were cash only, but even still, they didnt know what to charge as they werent given proper direction. Attendees were setting up tables that still werent up when the event opened, but still there werent adequate tables for anyone. Due to overcrowding, folks who were able to get crawfish waited over an hour, and the festival ran out not even a quarter of the way through. We had purchased tickets back in 2020, and finally two years later were trying to redeem. It took us hours to get there only to have to turn back around to go home. My fianc who purchased our tickets emailed them this morning, and theyre not refunding for an event that was vastly misrepresented due to poor management. No part of what was advertised was fulfilled, and its greatly disappointing.Day 2 of the Festival, we tried again to attend the festival. We got in - after paying an additional $20 for parking - but waited for several hours in the *** line still no crawfish to be seen.We talked with event staff, and Day 1 they were over capacity by about ***** people and had already gone through all the crawfish. We ended up leaving yet again with no crawfish around 3PM even though the event was supposed to run from 11AM - 8PM for *** guests. We want a FULL refund and compensation for our time.
