I've had an account with them since the 90s and never had a problem. They have some great savings account rates.

I have had an account at Austin Telco since the 90’s. I only use it for renters deposits an hardly ever touch the money in that account. Another family member is joint on the account but doesn’t even know or remember. That family member also has their own account at Austin Telco, Cedar Park. On March 4 ,2021 that family member went to their account to withdraw funds. They had none. The teller told them that they have money in another account which they did not have the account number for. Gave them the account number and changed the withdrawal to the new number by crossing out theirs. I soon discovered that account was missing 900.00$. This would never had happened if the teller didn’t divulge the account and then give the number and allowed the withdrawal. This is a horrible banking practice. That teller should have never told that family member there was money in another account without them at least having the account number or asking about another account. I understand what a Joint account is but a teller should never offer up information. If the family member asked that would be different but they didn’t know they were on the account . Sloppy, inept, poorly trained, improper discloser and criminal. I have closed my account and will never open another there This is not my only bad banking experience at this location. I was given wrong change once and had to wait until end of banking day for tellers till to be counted and my withdrawal to be corrected. Be careful who holds your money.

Any joint member on an account has the right to conduct transactions and to be informed of account information.

Never ever bank here. Pam C***** is atrocious. She made the discretionary choice to not release a deceased grandmother's funds using an affidavit of heirship showing the 2 kids as heirs after every other financial institution accepted this and over one million in assets were dealt with. This was a 15,000 account. We even sold her 1MM house with the affidavit. This caused the family to spend $2,000 to get the court to appoint one of the kids as executor then released the funds to the 2 heirs. Then she withdrew $475 dollars as legal fees to deal with this issue. She stole $475 dollars from a deceased 90 plus year old woman. What a total classless woman and company that allows this woman to completely harass a grieving family.
