Service has gone way down since American Pacific pools sold out to Aqua Maid , I had used American PP for years, there techs were great and I always got great customer service when I called their office. That all changed this year when Aqua Maid took over, my pool cleaning jumped from $90 per month for bi=weekly service to $360 per month as they tried to force me into a weekly service which was not needed, the only thing they had to do was check my levels and add muric acid when needed, I did my own salt test and added my own salt when needed. When I contacted the main office I got told in so many words either take it or leave it. The techs would be here for 5 minutes each time they came, I have cameras all around my house so could verify how long it took and what they had to do. I stopped their service immediately and have since found someone to do it for the same price I had. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.Review from Jay B

BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! I recently had a remodel **************** by American Pacific Pools. The work they did was to my satisfaction. However, after about 5- 6 months the plaster became discolored in areas. They sent out a technician and he determined it was an easy fix with an acid wash. The office called me to schedule the acid wash, they informed me that it would not be covered under my 1 year warranty and I would have to pay $400 for the job!. The office claimed it was "stained" (not discoloration) due to the copper tubing that is inside the pool heater..... WTF? ALL pool heaters have copper tubing! According to their logic, every pool they build that has a heater included would result in this happening!What a bunch of BS!!!!Do yourself a favor and find a different company!!!!!!!!!!!
