We purchased a new built home from Antares on the 9th of September 2022. We had a couple issues the paint and sink, which the builder corrected very fast. Our latest issue is with the brick and stone work at the front of the house, entry way. The mortor was obviously mixed incorrectly and is now starting to crack away from the stones and ************ is unsightly and stands out because it is the very entry into the house. This is not just a couple places, it is all over. The warranty folks say it must seperate 1/8 of an inch before they will respond. 1/8 of an inch and these stones will fall off the wall. I think it is poor workmanship and should be repaired by the builder. Apparently their concrete workers donot understand concrete very well as is also evident in the numerous slab cracks as well. I don't think I would purchase from Antares again.

I bought an Antares Home March*****. I have turned in ***************************** March *****- 3 have been completed. They tell you to turn in before your year is up to get items fixed and we are still dealing with these problems with no response. I turned them in again in Oct 2022 and no response.-My soap dish in master bath shower is broke and I turned it in the first week we moved in and was told to wait as you only get 1 repair for tile and chances are you will have more issues. We put silicone around it so that water would get behind the wall and cause more damage, turned a ticket in again in March 2023 and it still needs to be repaired -Missing cement mortar around our brick outside -Wood floors are popping -Front door has a crack and peeling -Numerous sheetrock issues where there are holes. -Door k**** broke On these request no response, so I turned them in again in Jan-2023 still no response. I reached out to the warranty department and no response. Have texted numerous times warranty / service and no response.

We purchase a home from Antares Homes in June and quickly found numerous items to needed repaired or replacement. We filed two warranty reports for these items in July. We have had nothing resolved and have been given the run around by their warranty department. These are the items and problems we need resolved:- Our master tub has a large crack. The crack is hard to see unless you are right over it. We know that the crack had to be there at the time we closed or the tub was improperly installed because we have not used the tub or been in it other than when we had to clean up a large ant infestation in the tub. This is when we noticed the crack. Their warranty department says it is not their responsibility since we did not notice it prior to closing on the home.- We have two dead trees that died less than a month after we moved in despite us watering the yeard every night during this time. They refuse to replace the trees because of the weather conditions from this summer being extreme.-The sprinkler system does not cover the yard to water properly and some sprinkler heads are not set correctly. There are also exposed hoses from the sprinkler system on top of the lawn. They have not addressed this at all.-I mentioned the ant infestation earlier and we paid $300 to resolve this becuase we could not wait for their response. Our entire master bedroom closet and bathroom were covered with ants. They obviously do nothing to their new homes to prevent this.-Lastly, we have a piece of molding that fell off the kitchen cabinets the first day we were in the house when we opened a drawer. To this point, they have not resolved this and we are approaching 3 months.

For the last year, we have had ongoing issues with Antares Homes to professionally repair our ceiling between the Breakfast nook/family room. For a year, ***** in warranty explained that it would be fixed when the drywall company came back to complete the tub repair. The drywall company came to complete the work in April, but our ceiling was not repaired. ***** has now refused to answer calls, and I sent communication to several administrators in Antares Homes 9 days ago, and no one has responded via email or phone. This has been ongoing since last May 2021. We would like to have our ceiling repaired as promised, so that we can move on. It is NOT a cosmetic issue that resulted over time. It is an issue that was created by the unprofessional Antares Homes contractor repair from the ceiling beam drooping down and a noticeable indentation across the ceiling. The repair left a complete PATCH in the ceiling as shown in the pictures that needs to be professionally fixed. Antares Homes should be held responsible for improperly repairing our ceiling. Again, there has yet to be contact from Antares Leadership to address this matter and resolve appropriately. Their employee, *****, promised they would get it fixed, so it needs to be fixed. Pictures and email correspondence are attached.

We closed on our home in September 2021. It was a new build with Antares Homes. We have had nothing but problems when we have tried to put in a warranty ticket. I just can't believe a company that is so professional will act like huge cracks in my master bedroom on the ceiling was the latest discovery, crack tile appearing weekly from the kitchen to the bathroom, spots appearing from the ceiling, please to even ask about paint or caulk. I had to get someone to fix the toilet paper holder it fell off two months after we closed, towel rack was early March, just to name a few because I was told they will only come out once. But trust me they are vague with what will be fixed but I will suffer until September with these eyes sores . Did I mention the back door frame is cracked on the side. Baseboards are splitting in weird spots not where they are joined. Not sure what 100 point inspection they have but I got the 50 for sure. You just don't put bonuses over customer service we invested over 300k*************please do not buy the insulation magic show pick another builder so you will get to enjoy your home, not worry want will mess up next. I regret everyday I didn't go with the other choices we had.

      Respectfully,

Based on a review of our records, we see that the Customer has filed 5 warranty tickets with us.  We fixed 2 of the items, but did not fix 3 of the items.  We believe that the 3 items that were not fixed were either items that arose from damage upon or after move-in or were not warrantable per our warranty manual.

Also included in the 5 tickets were cosmetic items such as sheetrock cracks, splitting trim, and a garage texture issue.  We provide a one time touch up of cosmetic items for up to a year.  We encourage our Customers to wait to file for this one time touch up until close to the one year anniversary of the home closing so we can repair as many items as possible.  It is my understanding that the Customer seemed to be ok waiting for these touch *** until they filed the warranty ticket for these items near the end of their one year anniversary.  If the Customer wants us to come now for the one time touch up, we certainly will, we ask that the Customer make the request on the Warranty Portal.

Finally, there are two items mentioned in the Customer's complaint that we have no record of in our Warranty Portal.....cracked tiles and a displaced towel rack.  We would ask the Customer to make the request via the Warranty Portal.

      Sincerely,

Hi,I am residing currently at address ******************************************************. My house was built in 2021 and I closed it in Feb 2021. I was having multiple issues in this 1 year 2 month period in my house built by Antares Homes but what happened on 04/04/2022 was extreme. That day there was a huge storm and my house was leaking from multiple places. One of my front facing windows was completely leaking, like from entire places where there is a window. Here is a picture of that:1.jpg Now, the builder is saying they cannot do anything to fix this because my 1 year warranty expired. However, I want to bring to your attention that before I closed my home I had identified an issue in the window and I was told it will get fixed and they asked me to go for closing. However, it seems like all they did to fix that window issue at that time was caulking rather than fixing the gap permanently which now caused water to flow in badly. Here is the picture proof which I had sent to them as well during the time of build the home when it was not closed:2.jpg This clearly shows the builders' poor workmanship to build the house where even older houses next to me built by some other builder are facing no issue. Builder told me if it was an issue it could have happened previously but the rainfall and wind storm of last time was really bad and was facing mainly in the direction where my window was facing. In this situation they are raising their hands saying it is not their issue at all but this is something I have identified before closing and I was tricked somehow by patching those fixes temporarily which now is becoming a major issue for me. I want help here to get this fix as a builder's responsibility. Following are some email screenshots where the builder pressurized me to close home without re-inspection of all these issues. 3.png 4.png Hoping to get some help.Regards,Aman

We purchased our home October 9th 2020. As soon as we moved in, there was numerous problems. We turned in many warranty tickets through their website for repairs that were through out the house. ***** from Antares came out to look at all the repairs. We showed him all the chips and putty on the paint that needed to be fixed. He promised he would get the painting repaired. That has never been done. Its really bad. The stove boiler door is bent and doesnt close right. The concrete on the patio has big chunks missing off of it. The driveway has numerous cracks, its getting worse and doesnt look safe. The side of the house has a huge drainage problem, wasnt ever fixed, its getting worse and every time it rains it gets flooded and the water just sits, which is causing mosquitoes and other insects to breed around our house. The problems were pointed out and were NEVER REPAIRED. The rock wall in the backyard is cracking and looks like its going to fall off wall.

I am rejecting this response because: Thats not true what they said. There was so many things wrong with our house, when they fixed some it, we were okay with, that is it, thats what we said to them.  The other issues still need to fixed. Our driveway is cracked so bad its getting much worst. It is a safety hazard. Like I mentioned in the original complaint, the other items still need to be fixed. There would be no reason for us to say we were okay with everything. The side of our house is like a lake when it rains, the water doesnt drain and bugs breed in there, we have a huge mosquito problem, because the water just sits. We would like the issues in our complaint fixed.

      Regards,

      ******,
Please see attached documents.  They include the ***** of ******** document where this customer authorized their realtor to do their Orientation (home walk through) prior to closing in their stead.  Also attached is the Orientation document that indicates the items that were noted as needing attention and that were signed off on the day of closing (10/9/20).  Also attached is the list of warranty requests (received in July of this year) that are in question related to this complaint.  Our paperwork is very clear that cosmetic/wear and tear related items will not be covered under the warranty after closing.  The other items that are not cosmetic in nature are addressed in our Homeowners Maintenance and Warranty Manual which delineates what is considered warrantable and not warrantable during the first year of ownership.   In the attached list of warranty requests, I have given explanations for the items that are not warrantable.  All of the non-cosmetic items are explained in the documents above that were signed prior to closing.  For the non-cosmetic items, I have given the page numbers in the Homeowners Maintenance and Warranty Manual where the warrantability of each item is delineated.  Please note that the attached Welcome Home Document indicates that the Homeowners Maintenance and Warranty Manual was received prior to closing.
Lastly, we do not show any previous requests in our system for the drainage issue mentioned below.

Having said all this, we are willing to meet with this homeowner and do our best to explain the warranties further.
      Thank you,

      Good Morning ******,
Happy New Year! You had mentioned to me if the builders hadn't contacted me, to contact you, and let you know. I waited until after the holidays to contact you again, hoping they would contact me to set a day and time to go over all the items that need repairing at my home. I had my doubts that they would follow through. They just do not take responsibility for the damage here. Please let me know what the next step will be.

My floors are peeling. They (Antares) claimed they sold me a home with wood floors in it However, they are far from anything resembling wood. It's some sort of cheap textured vinyl over some kind of manufactured board material. It's not in any way made of wood. The floors started peeling about 6 months ago. It's now September 1, 2021, as I type this. We moved in on November 17, 2020. So we haven't been here very long at all. The builder says we got the floor wet and that's what caused the peeling. They claim you cannot get the floor wet at all. You can't even clean it with floor cleaner. How can you have a floor that can't be cleaned? They put the flooring in the kitchen where there's a good chance of water dripping on the floor from the sink or even spilled drinks. They also put the same flooring in front of the entryway and the back door. Again, in areas where water/snow/moisture can be present. I'm looking at $1000's in repair costs as a result. I just want my floors fixed. HELP!

My AC unit has gone out for the 3rd time. I called the builder (*******), I have called the vendor (****** *****) and all I get are excuses. We just moved into this house in November and we have had nothing but trouble trying to get warranty work handled. There are too many things to list that are broken and this house is brand new. It's 85 degrees in my house at this moment. I called ******* warranty department on Monday 6/14/2021 about the AC going out again for the third time. The AC Unit has been dripping water into my ceiling since March.
