***** has sent us bills before that were bogus. We have received another bill this year claiming we owe them for some kind of advertisment we did not order. I contacted them to dispute the bill. They keep calling no matter what I have told them.

UAC has reviewed the complaint and found the following information:  The customer was contacted on 3/28/24 for an opportunity to advertise with the ***************************. The customer agreed to purchase a new ad at the cost of $425 plus $9.95 shipping and handling fees. The recording verifying this is provided. Another recording of the customer using profanity towards the invoice collector is also provided. As the customer agreed to receive the invoice, and pay it within ********************************************************************************** an effort to assist the customer, I have placed the business's phone number with our vendor, prohibited future sales calls from being made to the business, and removed the customer from *********** lists.

Universal Adcom has reviewed the complaint and found the following information: The customer did indeed order ********************** with our company to be distributed within ************ *** area. The customer has provided a phone number that represents a company other than the ********************** that the advertising was purchased for. Our records indicate that the phone number is tied to a business called "********************". The customer has purchased ********************** under both business names. In order to clarify which business should be represented, and what numbers are to be used, I encourage the customer to contact our customer ********************** department so that this can be corrected. I am rejecting this response because:  I had confirmed with the representatives, the current company I worked for and they confirmed both numbers that I had provided.  I made sure they had the correct number.  They should have at least the correct mobile number as it was NEVER CHANGED.  Also, I had called back in November to complain about the mistake and made sure they had to correct phone number and yet, IT WAS NEVER CORRECTED.  A refund is in order.  This is the only way this problem can be solved.

This company gets you on the hook for advertising with a one time payment, then they call saying you signed up for renewing products and say the ads are already printed so you have to pay. We requested they cancel all ads last year. They claimed they did, the again this year they call again threating to turn us in to the credit bureau if we don't. They agree to lower the price if we go ahead an pay. My wife secumbed to the threats and paid them $1600. I never want to hear from them again.

UAC has reviewed the complaint and found the following information: The customer has purchased ********************** with our company since June of 2020. Each time a new rotation of advertising is released, the previous customers are provided an opportunity to continue to advertise on the products, or to stop. The customer agreed to additional rotations and according to the attachment provided by the customer, it is stated that the customer will be going into "a different direction" with their advertising in the future. Our customers are never required to purchase advertising with our company, or any other. In an effort to please the customer, I have placed the customer's phone number with our phone provider, restricting our company from placing anymore calls to Tarheel Safe & Lock.

I was called by someone named ********************* claiming to represent ***************************************** (a school near my work that I attended before) and asked if I would like to buy ad space on a shirt to be sold at school events. After some reluctance, I agreed, and was connected to someone else from the company handling the sales and production. I don't remember the name of the person I talked to at that time, but they were with Fanfare Sports and gave me the rundown of what they were offering: 1 of 4 ad spots on a t-shirt as their exclusive Realtor and 2 shirts for me to wear and represent. Again, I was reluctant to agree, but they expressed that after I was billed that I could call and work on a payment plan for the $400 spot. After some work, they got me to agree to the charge and service and got me off the phone quickly.A couple weeks later, I got the invoice, and it didn't look legitimate to me. I've scanned and attached a copy to this complaint. I haven't paid it yet, but on following up with the high school, no one is aware of this company, or any of the people selling a product like this. I ****** searched a bit and came upon very similar situations from a group that goes by different names, including Fanfare Sports. I have not paid anything yet, but my concern as a small business is that I may be pursued legally to pay this as I agreed to the bill on the phone. I just wish to shred this bill and never worry about it again.

My story is the same as many others. This company called my business pretending to be an advertising company that produced fan gear for our local high-school. The promised that I would have my company's name on the back of the locals schools t-shirts. I fell for the scam and excepted the offer. After a couple months went by and I had not received my sample tshirts I was promised. I went online and researched the company and found out how many people had been scammed. I reached out to my local school to see if the do business with this company and they informed me that they do not work with a company by the name or UAC or Fanfare sports. I am requesting that this company refund my money or I will be taking legal action. Small businesses beware of this scam it comes in many forms. Do not pay a third party to advertise without checking all the details.

*****! reached out to my business about sponsoring a sports bundle package for a high school near by. We have yet to receive the product and they will not answer my phone calls and 2 of the original phone numbers are disconnected or blocked. I looked online and realized right way that I am not the first company that has been scammed. How is this company still allowed to be in business after stealing money from so many people. Theres a so many complaints online so I reached out to the school to ask if they partner with this company and was told they do not work with them. This is a scam and I want my money back.

***** does indeed have an agreement with ************************ in ****** **. A copy of the distribution agreement is provided. Our records show that your advertisement is a part of t-shirt bundle that is scheduled to be sent to the school next month. As noted in the electronic signature the customer provided, we are experiencing delays in receiving the raw materials necessary to deliver t-shirt bundles as quickly as we have in the past. We are however working to get the schools the advertising as soon as possible.

Also, the numbers in which we encourage our customers to contact us at are clearly located on the invoice that was mailed to the customer, and provided over the phone at the time of sale. These numbers are ************, or toll-free at ************.

I am rejecting this response because: I have reached out to every phone number on every document that has been provided by this company and have not received return communication. I do not want to be skeptical but with all the horrible reviews, communication and follow up I am still weary of this company. The company name that contacted me and the name on the documents provided in regards to the signed agreement at the school do no match. I would like the tracking number for my items and once items have been officially received I will be comfortable retracting my complaint.

Back in December 2022 I received a phone call to sponsor my local cheerleading team (******** Senior High) for $400.00. I said yes and that I was a ***************** Alumni so if I was able to sponsor them I would rather do that, they said they would call me the next time it was available. I was called back in February 2023 to sponsor ***************** Senior High, this time it was $720.00 because the package was much bigger they told me - (towels, backpacks, shirts). I hesitated but said yes considering I asked about it the previous time I sponsored. Fast Forward months later I receive a box with a bunch of t-shirts that to my guess was my $720.00 order. No backpacks, no towels, and not sure why it was sent to me and not the school I supposedly "sponsored". I then go to call UAC and the phone number on ****** was not working which lead me to see the reviews on ****** and all the people that have left comments about being scammed. RED FLAG. I then get in contact with ***************************** and they have no idea about any of this and think I may have been scammed. I then call my credit card company to try to get info on how to reach UAC and was given a phone number ***********) and that's when I was transferred over to a *****. At this point it's taken up much needed time and I just would like a refund. I still have the box with all the t-shirts that I didn't order, I can send those back once I receive back my refunded payment.

UAC has reviewed the complaint and found the following information: The customer did purchase ********************** from our company on multiple occasions (twice). Each time, the customer should have received a copy of the orders via mail. The mailings provide direct phone numbers to our company. UAC has also reached out to ****** many times to correct the listed phone number, however they have yet to do so. In the photo submitted by the customer, directly below ******'s listing, UAC's website is listed, which also provides the company numbers to the Corporate Offices of UAC. Our records also indicate that the customer was able to contact our offices, and a refund was issued to the customer according to her wishes. We regret that the customer felt scammed by our **********************, as that was not our intent. We hope they will consider us again in the future if they choose to advertise their business.

I was contacted by **** from UAC advertising saying that they were looking for sponsors for local schools to have a magnet made for distribution. I operate in two different states and I paid for two schools, one in each state at $800 total. This company called my business number twice today. The lady that called said she was promoting local business on t-shirts to be provided at Evergreen School District sports games. Helping the youth they said. I was on my way to an appt the first time they called and asked them to email over some information or give me a call later. I received another call two hours later while I was at a job. The lady on the phone mentioned that I was to be the only general contractor featured on the shirt listed with other local businesses. She took my card info and sent me a credit card authorization form and I managed to get them off the phone. As soon as I hung up I did a ****** search of their company, UAC 4U. I found nothing but reviews claiming this company was a Scam pretending to work with local organizations wanting to advertise local businesses at their events. I called the Evergreen School District and nobody has heard of this company and said theyre not doing any shirts promoting local businesses with this company. I opened my email and found a CC authorization form sent via Dropbox. I did not sign the form. Later when I got back to my office I checked my business account and they already charged me, without me even signing the credit card auth form and also billed me a processing fee. This company is a fraud and they need to be held liable to pay back all of the money they have stole from small businesses.

UAC has reviewed the complaint and found that the customer was contacted about placing an ad to be distributed by the ********************* in *********, **. UAC does have an agreement with the high school, and Head Cheer Coach, and the document verifying that is attached. The CC authorization, like any other credit card authorization, is submitted to you after a credit card is processed. Dropbox Sign, the vendor that provides our authorizations, is safe and secure for both UAC, and our customers. In an attempt to satisfy the customer, UAC will cancel the advertisement order that was placed on 10/18/23, and refund the payment.

UAC has reviewed the complaint and found the customer purchased ********************** with the *********************** for the business, The Backyard. The invoice was paid, and provided for the customer's records with the delivery of the advertising materials. Proof of delivery for the customer and to the distributor are provided. Again, the customer owes nothing to UAC, and the customer is never obligated to purchase ********************** from our company or any other.
