I had to hire a brick mason (mason was not able to match brick which was supposed to be left on site) and a sprinkler company after they left. Cost me an extra $1000 to repair the damage caused by In-House. All I asked for was that my yard/home be placed in the condition that they found it in. I asked for help and the general manager read me the contract. I asked to speak with the owner and was told no. Think twice about hiring a company that subcontracts their work out. Several personal items are missing. I will not be recommending this company to friends and family.In-House Plumbing Company Response

Thanks for this review and we are sorry for your unpleasant experience with our services. First we definitely made mistakes here & did try to work you to correct those. 1 - We removed some brick as proposed and unfortunately our team discarded/hauled off the brick that were supposed to be left for a brick mason (at the homeowners expense) to put back. 2 - Our crew did not inform the office staff of this mess up, but told you the customer that we would get bricks and bring them back, that did not get done, because the right people did not know about the problem. 3 - When you sent an email about the brick issue and you were missing a bow rake that was on the patio that belonged to your wife's grandfather, and asked if there was any chance that it may have been mixed in with our tools, our CSR handled that email horribly, she misinterpreted the email and thought you were asking when the brick were going to be put back (our proposal/agreement states that we do not put back/reinstate bricks), so she stated in an email (which was also a huge problem) our brick policy per our agreement. We did however at that time make a huge effort to find the missing bow rake, unfortunately we could not find it in our trucks or shop, that was the only thing we ever heard was missing and we believe if our crew took the bow rake which is certainly possible it was an honest mistake (thinking it was part of our tools), either way we are sorry that the rake was missing and we work hard for those kinds of things not to happen. If something else was missing we would love to know what it was and again try to search to see if it can be found. Back to the brick email, when you emailed back asking us to come again on the last email response our CSR again said the same thing she had original said through email, that was horrible and completely wrong of her and our company and there has been several discussions internally about this with the CSR and other office and management as well, ultimately we finally (not when we should have) ended up having a phone conversation with you, we then learned of the brick issue as listed above and that you were just wondering when those bricks would be brought. At that point management got involved in the situation and informed our CSR that bricks are not something you can just go get at a local store, you have to get the right style/texture and especially size brick, etc and now someone would have to go and look at the type of brick and go and see if they can hunt down the right brick and management recommended that this be done by a brick mason not by our company (this is an extremely rare situation for us and something that many in our company have never experienced, including this CSR and the people involved at the jobsite who said they would just get and return them, they totally mishandled the situation). We then had a conversation with you and offered to send the brick person that we recommend to have him find and supply the bricks at our expense so your brick guy could do the installation or we offered since you have a brick person already in mind that we could pay your brick person for finding and the supply of the bricks and then you could pay him for installation. The plan after that conversation was for you to talk to your brick guy and get back to us. On Sunday you sent us an email saying that you had a leak in the yard on the east side of the house. On Monday when we got back into the office, we called and discussed it with you and explained that if it was from the sewer piping we installed we would fix it under warranty and at no charge, but if it was from something else, a fresh water leak or sprinkler leak that would not be our responsibility per our agreement and that we would come out and investigate to see if it was on our piping or not. You were not happy about that response/conversation and wanted to speak to management. Our General Manager also had a discussion with you and said the same as our CSR, you were not happy with that and asked to speak to the owner, the owner is not involved in day to day operations, that is why there is a General Manager. We are sorry you are not happy with the cost you had to pay for sprinklers and brick reinstatement, however that was the agreement that was made, our proposal states the following - "3. Any ensuing damages occurring to 1. Pipes and/or Wires of any kind including but not limited to Sprinkler/Irrigation. are not warranted by this proposal or In-House Plumbing. & Any 2. Brick reinstatement/repair work necessary following the work as stated above are not covered by this proposal and are the responsibility of the homeowner. As you know we have now mailed you a check for $300.00 to cover the labor/time it took to get those bricks, purchase them & we did with your permission come and look at the leak situation you were having and determined it was a sprinkler related issue & we did not charge for that investigation.Review from Marie M

Excellent service. Called the day before to verify time of arrival, not a window of time. Within one hour a persistent leak of several months was fixed. We had 3 previous plumbers and even our a/c technician try to locate leak. Price was reasonable for service performed.In-House Plumbing Company Response
