I visited this business on September 7, 8 & 9 for chiropractor services. I was in severe pain when I arrived. X-rays were taken and traumatic adjustments were made to my lower spine on all 3 days. Each visit gave me more pain. When I was asked to come back on the fourth day, I contacted a medical doctor instead. A MRI was taken and a herniated disk was found. Pain medication was given and arrangements for an injection on September 20th. I believe these chiropractors should have known something was wrong that they could not repair because of my severe pain. One of the chiropractors advised me to NOT go to a different doctor because they "would cut on me". I relied on their expertise and I believe they damaged my spine even more due to the severe adjustments. I spent approximately $230 and was left in pain for days because of these guys. Everything they told me to do was absolutely wrong for my condition.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/30) */ Response to Better Business Bureau complaint from P. ******: Dear P. ******, I am also disappointed that we were unable to satisfy your expectations. I know how much your back hurts, I've been there before, myself. It is unrelenting and exhausting, and scary. I still wish I had a chance to help you. Because I sincerely want to help you. Below are my answers to each of you complaints: People in severe pain may feel that the spinal corrections are traumatic, but they are the gold standard for precision. The adjustment feels traumatic because the patient's injury is traumatic. The herniated disc (degenerative L4 disc) was noted on your x-ray before we ever adjusted you. The herniated disc had already been there for many years before your three days of back pain and before entering our care. According to my notes, you were given pain medication sometime around 9/7/21 or 9/8/21, and the medications were not working. The MD mentioned to you that he could give you a shot, but you decided to let us try to resolve your condition first. And I think that was wise. Chiropractors do not try to repair degenerative processes in discs or facets. We correct the subluxation of the bone so that the acute inflammatory response of the degenerative tissue can be reduced, and the patient can return to his/her pre-pain presentation. We successfully treat thousands of patients with our methods. And many, many of them are exactly in your condition. The $230 is less than any other doctor would have charged. We are by far the least expensive anywhere. We did our most sincere diligence to do the right thing for you. It is sometimes asking too much to resolve a serious case in three visits. It is not wrong to tell a patient that the medical opinion would be much less conservative. It is not wrong to tell a patient that we can still have a successful outcome if they will continue the course of care. May healing come to you yet. My best regards, Jason ****** DC Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/10/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This company has stated that they knew I was in severe pain and that my "injury" was traumatic. Then stated that the "injury" was degenerative, but that they do not try to repair degenerative processes in discs. Then why did you treat me? FOR THE MONEY!!! I do not expect anything from them now, or ever. They potentially made my condition worse and put me in more pain. This company needs to close its doors. No recommendation will come from me, my family or friends. I should have checked to see if they were a member of the BBB before I entered their doors.
