Despite their advertising as such and the ridiculous prices associated, THIS is NOT a luxury hotel. No one answers front desk so don’t plan on having an IN-room emergency. Disparate information handed out by staff concerning restaurant hours. No room amenities… not even a clock! Stained tub, quarter sized soap. I fussed about my displeasure given the cost. They gave me a partial refund then RETRACTED IT with no explanation. GM claimed to be looking into it, then began to dodge my calls. Conventioneers were the sole focus of staff. OTHERWISE THEY ARE A MAJOR RIP-OFF- NOT SERVING CUSTOMERS then taking back the refund they gave me!!??!? Wow.

********* ****** Horrible place, dirty carpets, no room service to clean the room and change sheets even when requested, damage on the bathroom ceiling, rust in the bath tub, hard to operate TV, dirty hallways, smoke alarm going off all night, would not recommend this place and it wasn’t cheap, unfortunately first vacation we had for a while and it was wasted on this place

We stayed at the Millennium Maxwell Hotel 7/14-16/2023. On 7/15 the room across from us caught fire and we had lots of water and soot damage to our room. As well as personal belonings. We waited very patiently for the hotel to move us, call us, text us, something. A man knocked on our door and asked “when are you leaving we are putting out fans” We left and stayed out 3 hours. When we Returned every room but ours had fans. Rooms 902,903,905 I was room 904 The hotel still refused to fix the problem. We had to spend the night in the wet room and at 9am STILL WET and stinks so bad I went to the front desk. The “GM” refused to come up and check my room and my damaged goods, refused to make it right like I was literally begging her to do. Then I asked to speak to upper mngr and she refused me to speak to anyone. She said they will call me. I checked out 7/16 @10a. I have emailed GM, HR, CEO, CFE and it’s now Tuesday. **********  did just email me and let me know the hotel REFUSED my refund. ****I have photos and videos dated and time stamped of everything I have said as witness!

In a nutshell...Got to our room, pulled back the bedding and found blood on the sheets! Went back down to the front desk, got no apology but a card key to a different room which was a downgrade from the original room. So we had to gather all of our stuff and move with no offer to help. At checkout the next morning, no one even knew of our issues. Contacted the General Manager twice, corporate email once and 10 days later no one even tried to contact us. Bloody sheets and nothing. Finally got a full refund from the front desk 10 days later. All corporate phone numbers in different cities have full voicemail boxes and just hang up on you. Just horrible. John
