Maynard installed a **** 3 ton HVAC system. When the sales person, Derrick D******, came to give us a quote I stated that I demand to have it permitted. Mr. D***** said they would definitely request the permit. A permit was not requested prior to installation and not requested after installation. I called a couple times to ask why there was no permit. I was told it was not required for the work they did. I then called codes and permits of Davidson county and was told that what they did certainly required a permit and inspection. If our house burns to the ground and it is found to have been caused by the HVAC system our insurance will not pay a dime because it was not permitted. This causes me a lot of stress and concern. They did not comply with the law. Codes is not a recommendation it is law. Maynard did not do as they were required to do and I am paying over 11000.00 for a system that could cause me to lose my home and insurance not covering my loss. If you are looking for someone to install your HVAC go elsewhere. I know the codes and laws better than they do.Review from Matthew T.

I had Maynard Man replace all of the water lines in my basement as well as from the street to my house. During the process of installing the water line from the street to my house they tore out a drainage line that my front gutters ran to, which took the water to my driveway. Instead of reconnecting the drainage line, they just buried the end of the downspout, which means the terminus of the downspout was run to my foundation. Fast forward 12 months later, every signal rain, small or big has resulted in significant water pentation of my foundation. I've had significant foundation damage from all of the water draining to my foundation. I finally dug up the drain line and found this out. I've called a ton of times with no response. I wish I had the money to sue them but I don't. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not honest, and they do not care for their customer. I am certain they have led to thousands of dollars of damage to my foundation.Review from Mirita F

I had Maynard come out and service my HVAC unit. I had a squirrel get in my unit. I was told
I needed a Heater repair kit and Blower wheel repair as well as having my duct work cleaned
to remove the " Blood and guts."
Do to the high cost got I other quotes from two other companies. Two other HVAC companies
said I didn't need to clean the duct work as no part of the squirrel would have gone past the coils.
*********** came out and found no damage at all. My unit is working fine.
This is not the first problem I have had with Maynard. They came out last summer and overcharged
me for a small repair. I will never use them again and I think it was fraud to quote such a high
repair cost when my unit was OK. I think they particularly target women.
